In this paper, a mixed-mode cohesive law for an interface crack between epoxy and TR (transparent thermoplastic) resin is inversely estimated by the field projection method using numerical solutions and experimentally measured displacements. Displacements in a region far away from the crack tip are measured by digital image correlation technique. An inverse analysis, the field projection method formulated from the interaction J- and M-integrals with numerical auxiliary fields, is carried out to estimate a mixed-mode cohesive law for an interface crack between dissimilar materials. In the present approach, nonlinear deformations and damage near the crack tip are converted into the relationships of tractions and separations on crack surfaces behind the crack tip. The phase angle of mixed-mode singularities of the interface crack is also obtained from measured displacements in this study.
In order to improve the conversion efficiency and mitigate the EMI problem of conventional hard-switching inverters, a new soft-switching DC-AC inverter with a compact structure and a low modulation complexity is proposed in this paper. In the proposed structure, resonant inductors are connected in series for the arm branches, and resonant capacitors are connected in parallel for the neutral point branches. With the help of resonant components, the proposed structure achieves zero-current switching on the arm branches and zero-voltage switching on the neutral point branches. When compared with state-of-art soft-switching topologies, the proposed topology does not need auxiliary switches. Moreover, the commutation algorithm to realize soft-switching can be easily implemented. In this paper, the principle of the resonant operation of the proposed soft-switching converter is presented and its performance is verified through simulation studies. The feasibility of the proposed inverter is evaluated experimentally with a 2.4-kW prototype.
Carbon master batch (CMB) rubber sheets, which are stored in stacks, are difficult to separate during reuse because of the adhesion between sheets caused by the stacked weight over time. To solve this problem, in the actual rubber product manufacturing process, various anti-tacking agents (solid powder or liquid surfactants) are applied to the sheet surface. In this study, the emulsion samples of zinc (Zn)-stearate/triethanolamine (TEA)-stearate mixtures were prepared using TEA-stearate as a surfactant, prepared using an industrially manufactured Zn-stearate powder, and their basic anti-tacking properties were studied. During the process of manufacturing emulsion, a heat treatment process and an auxiliary surfactant were introduced to improve the dispersion stability. Results showed that the heat-treated sample exhibited a significant improvement in terms of sedimentation, storage stability, and anti-tacking characteristics since the Zn-stearate particles were reduced to a smaller size by the heat-treatment than that of the original Zn-stearate powder.

the equipment increase switching frequency in order to achieve small size, a low noise, and light weight. however, the power switches have high power losses and switching stresses as the switching frequency is increased. In order to solve like this problem point from the present paper it proposed Intese Pulse Light of the half bridge methods which apply the start current circuit which applies the auxiliary equipment. Simulation and experimental result it leads and it brings is more qualitative there is 20% improvement and it confirmed that a possibility of measuring to the patient.
In this paper, we consider and introduce some new concepts of the biconvex functions involving an arbitrary bifunction and function. Some new relationships among various concepts of biconvex functions have been established. We have shown that the optimality conditions for the general biconvex functions can be characterized by a class of bivariational-like inequalities. Auxiliary principle technique is used to propose proximal point methods for solving general bivariational-like inequalities. We also discussed the conversance criteria for the suggested methods under pseudo-monotonicity. Our method of proof is very simple compared with methods. Several special cases are discussed as applications of our main concepts and results. It is a challenging problem to explore the applications of the general bivariational-like inequalities in pure and applied sciences.
A semi-analytical solution to responses of overconsolidated (OC) unsaturated soils surrounding an expanding spherical cavity under constant suction condition is presented. To capture the elastoplastic hydro-mechanical property of OC unsaturated soils, the unified hardening (UH) model for OC unsaturated soil is adopted in corporation with a soil-water characteristic curve (SWCC) and two suction yield surfaces. Taking the specific volume, radial stress, tangential stress and degree of saturation as the four basic unknowns, the problem investigated is formulated by solving a set of first-order ordinary differential equations with the help of an auxiliary variable and an iterative algorithm. The present solution is validated by comparing with available solution based on the modified Cam Clay (MCC) model. Parametric studies reveal that the hydraulic and mechanical responses of spherical cavity expanding in unsaturated soils are not only coupled, but also affected by suction and overconsolidation ratio (OCR) significantly. More importantly, whether hydraulic yield will occur or not depends only on the initial relationship between suction yield stress and suction. The presented solution can be used for calibration of some insitu tests in OC unsaturated soil.

The solar energy retention rate of a flat plate collector can be increased by increasing water flow rate through the collector which also increases the pumping energy incurred in obtaining that solar energy. The problem of optimal flow rate is formulated to fit within the framework of pontryagin's maximum principle and with a few simplifying assumptions, an optimal solution that can be easily implemented is obtaincd, The optimal solution is used in the simulation of a solar heating system using actual climatological data and the results are compared with that of on-off control. The result that not only the object function but, In some cases, also the solar energy retention rate the collector is increased. In is also found that the optimal control gets more advantageous as the solar insolation level gets lower, and also as tile cost of auxiliary heating fuel gets higher.
Small and medium Enterprises (SMEs), which have a manufacturing method of small quantity batch production produce goods using a general-purpose equipment and attached auxiliary tools. Many previous studies have focused on finding the effective resource allocations for improving the firms' productivity. It is very important for SMEs to keep costs low in assigning jobs to each resource, because they should meet the future uncertain demand of consumers under the limited budget. Using the concept of salvage cost, this paper proposes how to effectively allocate the tasks to main resources in the production process. The salvage cost is defined that purchasing cost minus decrease in value by workload, the method considering this is expected to reduce total purchasing costs during business period. To validate the effect of the proposed method, we proceed the real case study targeting on S company, PCB manufacturer to compare purchase amounts and its costs between the allocation proposed based salvage cost and current allocation method of current S company. As a results, In short-term (3 year) business period, salvage allocation have remarkable superior outcome to existing method, but gradually have cancelled out the effects in long-term (8 year) plans. Unlike the cycle allocation method, there exists the idle-equipments in allocation based salvage value. we additionally analyze the profits with respect to rental strategy of them during business period.
Recent recommendation system studies apply various deep learning models to represent user and item interactions better. One of the noteworthy studies is ONCF(Outer product-based Neural Collaborative Filtering) which builds a two-dimensional interaction map via outer product and employs CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) to learn high-order correlations from the map. However, ONCF has limitations in recommendation performance due to the problems with CNN and the absence of side information. ONCF using CNN has an inductive bias problem that causes poor performances for data with a distribution that does not appear in the training data. This paper proposes to employ a Vision Transformer (ViT) instead of the vanilla CNN used in ONCF. The reason is that ViT showed better results than state-of-the-art CNN in many image classification cases. In addition, we propose a new architecture to reflect side information that ONCF did not consider. Unlike previous studies that reflect side information in a neural network using simple input combination methods, this study uses an independent auxiliary classifier to reflect side information more effectively in the recommender system. ONCF used a single latent vector for user and item, but in this study, a channel is constructed using multiple vectors to enable the model to learn more diverse expressions and to obtain an ensemble effect. The experiments showed our deep learning model improved performance in recommendation compared to ONCF.
The purpose of this paper was to examine universal dependency UD application cases of Korean and Japanese with similar morphological characteristics. In addition, UD application and improvement methods of Korean were examined through comparative analysis. Korean and Japanese are very well developed due to their agglutinative characteristics. Therefore, there are many difficulties to apply UD which is built around English refraction. We examined the application of UPOS and DEPREL as components of UD with discussions. In UPOS, we looked at category problem related to narrative such as AUX, ADJ, and VERB, We examined how to handle units. In relation to the DEPREL annotation system, we discussed how to reflect syntactic problem from the basic unit annotation of syntax tags. We investigated problems of case and aux arising from the problem of setting dominant position from Korean and Japanese as the dominant language. We also investigated problems of annotation of parallel structure and setting of annotation basic unit. Among various relation annotation tags, case and aux are discussed because they show the most noticeable difference in distribution when comparing annotation tag application patterns with Korean. The case is related to both Korean and Japanese surveys. Aux is a secondary verb in Korean and an auxiliary verb in Japanese. As a result of examining specific annotation patterns, it was found that Japanese aux not only assigned auxiliary clauses, but also auxiliary elements to add the grammatical meaning to the verb and form corresponding to the end of Korean. In UD annotation of Japanese, the basic unit of morphological analysis is defined as a unit of basic syntactic annotation in Japanese UD annotation. Thus, when using information, it is necessary to consider how to use morphological analysis unit as information of dependency annotation in Korean.
