STATCOM을 이용한 교류 전기철도 급전시스템의 전압강하 보상 (Compensate Voltage Drop for Autotransformer-Fed AC Electric Railroad System with Single-Phase STATCOM)

  • 본 논문에서는 정전류 부하모델 교류 전기철도 AT 급전시스템을 회로망 해석법(Loop Equation Method)을 이용하여 실제 급전시스템과 유사하게 제약조건을 두고 여러 경우를 가정하여 모델링 하였다. 이 방법을 통해 앞으로 건설될 고속 전기철도 급전시스템의 전력품질에 영향을 줄 수 있는 전압강하에 주안점을 두고 정상급전의 경우뿐만 아니라 연장급전의 경우를 새롭게 확대 해석하였으며 이 결과를 동적 시뮬레이션 프로그램인 PSCAD /EMTDC를 이용하여 그 정확성과 실용성을 검증하였다. 또한 사례연구를 통해 전압 보상기를 설치하지 않는 경우와 STATCOM을 설치한 경우의 전압강하 보상효과를 PSCAD/EMTDC로 시뮬레이션 하여 검증하였다.

전기철도 AT급전계통 전력해석을 통한 실계통의 단락전류 분석 (The Analysis of Short Current on Actual System through Power Analysis of AT Feeder System for Electric Railway)

  • In this paper, we perform a modeling for the AT Feeder system in AC electric railway and we utilize the power EMTDC program to implement about AT feeder system modeling. In addition, we study the impedance characteristics of the AT feeder system and calculated fault current and impedance according to the distance due to fault accident. Based on it's result, fault current are compared between calculating the value and simulation value in EMTDC modeling. Impedance of power system is Largest at the middle point of the system and is smallest near autotransformer, and then showed that the fault current is inversely proportional to impedance characteristics.

새로운 능동형 고역률 다이오드 정류기시스템 (A New High Power Factor Correction Diode Rectifier System)

  • 본 논문에서는 2대의 다이오드 정류기에 부스트 컨버터를 이용하여 전류의 파형을 능동적으로 만들어 정현파의 입력전류를 얻는 새로운 방식의 고조파 저감방식을 제안한다. 제안한 방식으로 고역률의 전원 품질을 얻을 수 있으며 입력측의 변동에 대한 출력전압의 조정도 가능하다. 또한 저감된 용량을 갖는 3상 오토트랜스포머의 사용으로 기존의 $\Delta$-Y 변압기에 비해 KVA정격이 75% 절감되며 상간변압기도 필요 없다. 본 방식을 소형화와 고품질의 전원이 요구되는 통신용 정류기등에 적용하면 효과적이다. 제안한 방식의 동작원리, 제어 및 설계방법을 기술하고 1.5KW급 시작품으로부터의 실험결과를 제시한다.

Two Low-Loss Large Current Rectifiers Based on Low KVA Rating Wye-Connected Autotransformers

  • In this paper, two large current rectifiers are proposed based on two wye-connected autotransformers. The requirements of the ideal large current rectifier are analyzed, and it is concluded that the large current rectifier has a higher power density and a higher energy conversion efficiency when it is made up of two three-phase half-wave rectifiers and a wye-connected autotransformer. According to theoretical analysis results, the two novel wye-connected autotransformers are designed to feed two three-phase half-wave rectifiers. The two autotransformers can generate two groups of three-phase voltages with a 60o phase shifting, and their kVA ratings account for 95% and 80% of the load power, respectively. These values are less than those of a double star rectifier at 30% and 46%. From the input mains and output side, the power quality of the proposed rectifiers is the same as that of the double star rectifier. Some experiments validate the correctness of the theoretical analysis.

  • 본 논문은 단권변압기 구조를 이용한 새로운 UPFC 토폴로지를 제안한다. 제안된 토폴로지는 N:1:1:1 복권 변압기를 단권변압기로 사용하고, 양방향 컨버터와 인버터가 결합된 구조의 전력변환장치를 사용한다. 또한, 기존의 UPFC에서 사용한 2개의 직 병렬 변압기를 1개로 줄임에 따라, 제작 비용 및 설치공간의 절감 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 제안된 토폴로지의 유효성은 실험을 통해 검증되었다.

  • A new multi-step voltage source inverter is proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme is composed of the double-connected 12-step inverter with an auxiliary circuit. The auxiliary circuit includes two voltage dividing capacitors, two switching devices and a low KVA autotransformer. The resultant system is shown to be a 24-step inverter suitable for large scale SVC applications in which the PWM method can not be employed. The design parameters are derived from the analysis of voltages and currents by means of switching functions. The simulation results verify the proposed concept.

  • In this paper, we present an intelligent digital controller circuit which can be applied to automatic voltage regulation. The proposed solid state transformer with Pspice simulation model shows that our approach is very efficient and produces the desirable output. It is comparable to an ordinary magnetic coupled autotransformer.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the harmonics generated from Korea High Speed Rail's trainset and to analyze the effect on the KEPCO power system. This study focuses on the test track of the high speed rail and analyzes 154㎸ transmission line, scott transformer, autotransformer and 27,5㎸ line. The trainset is modeled as a harmonic source attached to the catenary line of the test track. Then, harmonic distortion is calculated. This distortion is compared with the KEPCO's regulations in relation to harmonic.

Three-phase Transformer Model and Parameter Estimation for ATP

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop an improved three-phase transformer model for ATP and parameter estimation methods that can efficiently utilize the limited available information such as factory test reports. In this paper, improved topologically-correct duality-based models are developed for three-phase autotransformers having shell-form cores. The problem in the implementation of detailed models is the lack of complete and reliable data. Therefore, parameter estimation methods are developed to determine the parameters of a given model in cases where available information is incomplete. The transformer nameplate data is required and relative physical dimensions of the core are estimated. The models include a separate representation of each segment of the core, including hysteresis of the core, ${\lambda}-i$ saturation characteristic and core loss.

단권변압기 교류전기철도 급전시스템의 전차선 전압해석 (Analysis for Catenary Voltage of The ATs-Fed AC Electric Railroad System)

  • This paper presents exact Autotransformers(ATs)-fed AC electric Railroad system modeling using constant current mode for locomotives. An AC electric railroad system is rapidly changing single-phase load, and at a feeding substation, 3-phase electric power is transferred to paired directional single-phase electric power. As the train moves along a section of line between two adjacent ATs. The proposed AC electric railroad system modeling method considers the line self-impedances and mutual-impedances. The constant current mode model objectives are to calculate the catenary and rail voltages with the loop equation. When there are more than one train in the AC electric railroad system, the principle of superposition applies and the only difference between the system analyses for one train. Filially, this paper shows the general equation of an AC electric railroad system, and that equation has no relation with trains number, trains position, and feeding distance.
