활차식 자동장력조정장치 성능진단 및 유지보수 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Diagnosis of the Pulley Type Automatic Tensioning Device and Improvement of Maintenance)

  • The automatic tensioning device of the catenary system constantly maintains the tension of the trolley wire by absorbing the variations due to the elasticity of the line caused by temperature variation. The tension plays an important role in affecting the electric motorcar operation directly. This paper suggests the methodology of the life cycle extension and the maintenance of the automatic tensioning device by means of performance diagnosis of the pulley type automatic tensioning device which has been commonly used for the electric railway system. Through conducting performance diagnosis and comparative test for the wornout pulley type automatic tensioning device by replacing the components such as the bearing and the bearing shaft without replacing all the assembly, the tensioning device is analyzed whether it is properly functioned. Provided that the maintenance regulation is reinforced so as to implement the bearing replacement through periodical precise inspection along with random check-up inspection which is now carried out by the operating organizations, it is ensured that the life cycle extension and the reduction of maintenance cost of the tensioning device could be achieved.

40mm 고속유탄(K212) 신관의 안전성 및 신뢰성 강화를 위한 탄약 자동화검사 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (Research on the Ammunition Automatic Test Algorithm for Improving Safety & Reliability of 40mm Grenade(K212) Fuze)

  • 신관은 다양한 부품과 복잡성으로 인해 육안 검사 시 휴먼에러가 발생할 수 있으며 부품 누락, 장전된 신관 등이 제품에 혼입될 경우 탄약이 폭발할 가능성을 내재하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 신관 검사 시 휴먼에러를 방지하기 위한 탄약 자동화검사 알고리즘을 제안한다. 탄약 자동화검사 알고리즘은 다음과 같은 세 단계로 구성된다. 첫 번째로 검사 이미지 입력 및 전처리 단계로써 검사 대상 이미지를 입력하고, 이미지 회전 알고리즘을 적용하여 이미지를 회전한 후 이진화 알고리즘을 사용하여 이미지를 컴퓨터 계산에 적합하도록 이진화한다. 두 번째로 장전 및 비장전 여부를 검사하는 단계로써 Masked Template Matching 알고리즘 등을 활용하여 탄약의 장전여부를 판단한다. 세 번째로 부품검사 단계로써 이미지 탐색 알고리즘 등을 활용하여 부품 위치나 부품 누락 여부에 대해서 판단한다. 본 탄약 자동화검사 알고리즘을 신관 검사에 적용한 결과 부품 누락, 장전 여부 등을 오류 없이 효율적으로 검출함으로써 40mm 고속유탄 신관의 신뢰성 및 안전성 향상에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • An efficient automatic inspection system for Floating Seal is developed, The proposed system consists of a high resolution line scan camera, microcomputer, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). In order to perform rapid inspection, The ROI (Region of Interest) is extracted from the original image. There are types of defects; shape defects and surface defects. Each features of defects are captured by edge detect, segmentation, morphological operation, and threshold analysis. PLC controller is used to synchronize the whole system and store the inspection results temporarily to reduce the overhead of microcomputer. As a result, the system is being utilized successfully in a teal inspection line.

광필터의 스펙트럼 검사시스템 개발 (A New System Development for the Spectrum Inspection of Optical Filters)

  • Optical filters in WDM are passive communication components used in case of transmitting and reflecting lights with specific wavelengths. In this paper, a novel mechanism for the automatic and optical alignment has been presented. It includes minimum axes not to be coupled each other. The automatic spectrum inspection system has been developed to improve the alignment time of reference optical ray, spectrum inspection time and inspection quality, simultaneously. It has been confirmed that the proposed spectrum inspection system is faster, more precise and more reliable than those based on the conventional handwork.

An Autonomous Operational Service System for Machine Vision-based Inspection towards Smart Factory of Manufacturing Multi-wire Harnesses

  • In this study, we propose a technological system designed to provide machine vision-based automatic inspection and autonomous operation services for an entire process related to product inspection in wire harness manufacturing. The smart factory paradigm is a valuable and necessary goal, small companies may encounter steep barriers to entry. Therefore, the best approach is to develop towards this approach gradually in stages starting with the relatively simple improvement to manufacturing processes, such as replacing manual quality assurance stages with machine vision-based inspection. In this study, we consider design issues of a system based on the proposed technology and describe an experimental implementation. In addition, we evaluated the implementation of the proposed technology. The test results show that the adoption of the proposed machine vision-based automatic inspection and operation service system for multi-wire harness production may be considered justified, and the effectiveness of the proposed technology was verified.

검사지연시간을 고려한 SMT 검사기의 통합적 경로 계획 알고리즘 (Unified Approach to Path Planning Algorithm for SMT Inspection Machines Considering Inspection Delay Time)

  • This paper proposes a path planning algorithm to reduce the inspection time of AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) machines for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) in-line system. Since the field-of-view of the camera attached at the machine is much less than the entire inspection region of board, the inspection region should be clustered to many groups. The image acquisition time depends on the number of groups, and camera moving time depends on the sequence of visiting the groups. The acquired image is processed while the camera moves to the next position, but it may be delayed if the group includes many components to be inspected. The inspection delay has influence on the overall job time of the machine. In this paper, we newly considers the inspection delay time for path planning of the inspection machine. The unified approach using genetic algorithm is applied to generates the groups and visiting sequence simultaneously. The chromosome, crossover operator, and mutation operator is proposed to develop the genetic algorithm. The experimental results are presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed method.

  • The inspection unit which is developed and used in this study, is processed the shape data from the CCD camera to seek welding bite section shape, and then calculated as a real dimension from measuring the value of each inspection item. The reason of measuring with the real in this study is came out from the image method which used for a long time, which is extricated the characteristic as the dimension of pixel by recognize pixel. The measurement method of the section shape is that we decide the thresholding value after we drew the histogram to binarizate the object. After that, we make flat the object to get rid of the noise and measure the shape of welded part through the boundarization of the object. The shape measurement is that measure the value of the welding part to adapt the actual operation program from using the ratio between the actual dimension of the standard specimen and the dimension of image, to measure the ratio between the actual product and the camera image. The inspection algorithm which estimates the quality of welded product is developed and also, the software GUI(Graphic User Interface) which processes the automatic test function of the inspection system is developed. We make the foundation of the inspection automatic system and we will help to apply other welding machine.

신뢰성 향상 기반의 풍압센서 자동검사 시스템구현 (System Implementation for Automatic Inspection of Wind Pressure Sensor Based on Reliability Improvement)

  • 본 연구는 신뢰성 향상 기반의 풍압센서 자동검사 시스템을 구현하기 위한 연구이다. 신뢰성향상을 위해 수동검사 시스템에서 자동검사 시스템으로 풍압세서 검사의 오류를 최소화한다. 풍압센서 자동검사 시스템은 제어시스템과 모니터링시스템으로 구성되어 되어 실시간으로 검사결과를 제공한다. 검사시스템의 신뢰성은 Gage R&R 분석기법을 적용하여 평가한다, 평가결과는 검사속도 2배 이상, 측정오차 ${\pm}0.02V$, 판정 능력의 유효성 15%, 누락확률 17%, 허위경보확률 12% 등으로 향상되었다. 따라서 풍압센서 자동검사 시스템은 제품 바코드와 연동시켜 데이터베이스화하면 효율적인 신뢰성 향상의 품질관리시스템으로 발전시킬 수 있다.

Automatic TFT-LCD Mura Inspection Based on Studentized Residuals in Regression Analysis

  • In recent days, large-sized flat-panel display (FPD) has been increasingly applied to computer monitors and TVs. Mura defects, appearing as low contrast or non-uniform brightness region, sometimes occur in manufacturing of the Thin-Film Transistor Liquid-Crystal Displays (TFT-LCD). Implementation of automatic Mura inspection methods is necessary for TFT-LCD production. Various existing Mura detection methods based on regression diagnostics, surface fitting and data transformation have been presented with good performance. This paper proposes an efficient Mura detection method that is based on a regression diagnostics using studentized residuals for automatic Mura inspection of FPD. The input image is estimated by a linear model and then the studentized residuals are calculated for filtering Mura regions. After image dilation, the proposed threshold is determined for detecting the non-uniform brightness region in TFT-LCD by means of monitoring the every pixel in the image. The experimental results obtained from several test images are used to illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method for Mura detection.

  • This study includes noise automatic inspection system for washing machine auto-transmission one of modern home necessary. We effort to find and certificate sound noisesource by sound power and sound intensity, and apply to frequency analysis in vibration related sound noise. Still more we have been studying to data acquisition and programming for MS VisualBasic version 5.0. System component is below. 1) Pentium PC for data acquisition. 2) DSO for noise acquisition. 3) S/W for comparison and decision. 4) I/F Board for data communication. Wave form data through the DSO are converting to ASCII code data. The ASCII code through binary converting S/W are to be decision fitness or the badness comparison S/W. Finally, we will making noise monitoring system and automatic inspection system.
