면역 알고리즘을 이용한 RO 공정 PID 제어기의 자동 튜닝 (Auto Tuning of PID for RO System Using Immune Algorithm)

  • In this paper, the control of a membrane used in reverse osmosis desalination plant by using immune algorithm(IA) is addressed. The proposed algorithm IA of auto tuning method can find optimal gains and compared with conventional Ziegler-Nichols tuning method. The results of computer simulation represent that the proposed IA shows a good control performances better than Ziegler-Nichols tuning method.

  • This paper presents the mechanism of the machine and the numerical result of attractive force in the Electro-Permanent Magnet Lifter (EPML) and an improved niching Genetic Algorithm (GA) applying the concept of auto-tuning and detecting traces. Population size and both (right and left) niche radii of each peak in an asymmetrical objective function can be determined automatically. The validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation results.

  • In this paper auto-tuning scheme of PID controller based on the reference model has been studied by immune algorithm for a process. Up to this time, many sophisticated tuning algorithms have been tried in order to improve the PID controller performance under such difficult conditions. However, in the actual plant, they are manually tuned through a trial and error procedure, and the derivative action is switched off. Therefore, it is difficult to tune. Simulation results by immune based tuning reveal that tuning approaches suggested in this paper is an effective approach to search for optimal or near optimal process control.

  • This paper describes the procedure of getting information about auto-tuning of PID regulator by the injection of high step input, called limited input, during a transient time of control. The key point is that system identification and control could be continuously executed. This means that the system information obtained by limited input despite of system uncertainty can be continuously applied to the PI regulator. Simulation and experiment result of brushless DC motor system having monotone increasing step response demonstrate the usefulness of proposed auto-tuning algorithm.

  • This paper presents an auto tuning method of fuzzy inference using Genetic Algorithm. The determination of membership functions by human experts is a difficult problem. Therefore, some auto-tuning methods have been proposed to reduce the time-consuming operations. However, the convergence of the tuning by the previous methods depends on the initial conditions of the fuzzy model. So, we proposes an auto tuning method for the fuzzy neural network by Genetic Algorithm (ATF system). This paper shows effectiveness of the ATF system by simulations.

  • In this paper, we propose the hybrid fuzzy controller(HFC) and the hybrid auto-tuning algorithm. The proposed HFC combined a PID controller with a fuzzy controller concurrently produces the better output performance such as sensitivity improvement in steady state and robustness in transient state than any other controller. In addition, a hybrid auto-tuning algorithm which consists of genetic algorithm and complex algorithm to automatically generate weighting factor, scaling factors and PID control gains optimizes the output of HFC. As an typical example of non-linear system in control theory an inverted pendulum will be controlled by the suggested HFC and illustrated the performance and applicability of this proposed method by simulation.

  • In this paper, auto-tuning technique of the PID controller gain by particle swarm optimization algorithm is presented. PID controller is easy to implement to numerous control systems. After PID gain tuning is completed, its result could be implemented to control spacecraft vibration such as jitter that is high frequency vibration usually over 10Hz. The off-line PID controller tuning is done under system nonlinearities and uncertainties existence, then its result is applied to control experiment device to prove the PSO efficiencies.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new PID tuning algorithm by the fuzzy set theory to improve the performance of the PID controller. The new tuning algorithm for the PID controller has the initial value of parameter Kc, $\tau$I, $\tau$D by the Ziegler-Nichols formula using the ultimate gain and ultimate period from a relay tuning experiment. We get error and error change of plant output correspond to the initial value and new proportion gain(Kc) and integral time($\tau$I) from fuzzy tunner. This fuzzy tuning algorithm for PID controller considerably reduced overshoot and rise time compare to any other PID controller tuning algorithms. In real parametric uncertainty systems, the PID controller with Fuzzy auto-tuning give appreciable improvement in the performance. The significant properties of this algorithm is shown by simulation In this paper, we proposed a new PID algorithm by the fuzzy set theory to improve the performance of the PID controller.

  • 무인항공기의 에일러론 및 플랩, 엘리베이터 등을 제어하기위한 작동기들은 구조적으로 Time variant한 비선형적인 특성을 가지고 있을 뿐 아니라, 비행 중에 풍향 및 풍량에 따라 모델링하기 힘든 외란이 발생할 경우가 많이 발생하기 때문에 우수한 제어성능을 보이는 제어기 설계에 많은 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 PID 제어기의 장점을 그대로 살리면서 실시간으로 변화하는 시스템에 adaptive하게 대응할 수 있고 Auto gain tuning을 이용하여 개발자의 시간과 노력을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 Fuzzy Auto gain tuning PID 제어 알고리즘을 비행체 Actuator 제어에 적용한 연구내용을 기술하였다.

  • Vibration is one of the factors that degrades the performance of equipment and measurement equipment used in high-tech industries such as semiconductors and display. The vibration isolator is classified into passive type and active type. The passive vibration isolator has the weakness of insufficient vibration isolation performance in the low frequency band, so an active vibration control system that can overcome these problems is used recently. In this paper, PID controller is used to control the active vibration isolator. Methods for setting the gain of the PID controller include the Zeigler-Nichols method, the pole placement method. These methods have the disadvantage of requiring a lot of time or knowing the system model accurately. This paper proposes the gain auto tuning method of the active vibration isolator applied with the PSO algorithm, which is an optimization algorithm that is easy to implement and has stable convergence performance with low calculations. It is expected that it will be possible to improve vibration isolation performance and reduce the time required for gain tuning by applying the proposed PSO algorithm to the active vibration isolator.
