3차원 골조정보모델을 이용한 철근배근 자동생성 시스템 (Development of the Rebar Auto Placing System Using 3D Structural Information Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 국내에서 구축되어 있지 않은 3차원 BIM 기반 설계 및 시공 환경으로의 패러다임 전환에 대비하여 3차원 BIM 지향적 구조설계 프로그램인 SDP 제품군을 사용하여 BIM 프로그램들을 연동한 3차원 BIM 철근배근 자동생성 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 현재 국내 건설업계의 치열한 수주경쟁으로 수익률저하/철근 등 자제가 폭등/인건비 상승/배근시공도 작성 인력 부족 및 신뢰성 저하 및 납기 지연 등의 기존 현황의 문제점 등을 SDP 제품군을 이용하여 구조설계/배근시공도 작성/정밀 골조물량 산출을 통합 지원하는 엔지니어링 컨설팅 환경을 구축하여 구조설계 시 V/E 동시 수행, 골조공사비 10% 절감, 배근시공도 및 물량산출 납기 최소로 단축, 배근시공도 정확성 향상/설계 및 시공 변경에 신속 대응, 공정 대비 발주 물량 관리 기능을 제공함으로써 고수익, 고효율, 고품질 의 엔지니어링 컨설팅 수행이 가능하다. 3차원 BIM 을 기반으로 철근현장가공에서 공장가공 전환 가속화로 국가적 물량 절감을 기대할 수 있고, 3차원 BIM 구조설계 및 골조공사 환경 구축 및 기술 자립을 통해 건설시공 분야의 기술력 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

  • Auto-ID industries and their services have been improved since decades ago, and radio frequency identification (RFID) has been contributing in many applications. Product management can be the foremost example. In our industrial experiences, RFID in ultra high frequency (UHF) band provides much longer interrogation ranges than that of 13.56MHz; many more applications exist thereby. There should be several interesting and useful ideas on UHF RFID; however, those ideas can be limited due to the inevitable environmental circumstances that restrict the interrogation range in shorten value. This paper discusses the propagation interference among different types of readers (e.g, mobile RFID readers in stationary reader zone) in dense-reader environment. In most cases, UHF RFIDs in Korea will be dependent on the UHF mobile RFIDs. In this sense, the UHF mobile users accidently move into the stationary reader's interrogation zone. This is serious problem. In this paper, we analyze propagation loss and propose the effective channel allocation scheme that can contribute developing less-invasive UHF RFID networks. The simulation and practical measurement process using the commercial CAD tools and measurement equipments are presented.

HDF: Hybrid Debugging Framework for Distributed Network Environments

  • Debugging in distributed environments, such as wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which consist of sensor nodes with limited resources, is an iterative and occasionally laborious process for programmers. In sensor networks, it is not easy to find unintended bugs that arise during development and deployment, and that are due to a lack of visibility into the nodes and a dearth of effective debugging tools. Most sensor network debugging tools are not provided with effective facilities such as real-time tracing, remote debugging, or a GUI environment. In this paper, we present a hybrid debugging framework (HDF) that works on WSNs. This framework supports query-based monitoring and real-time tracing on sensor nodes. The monitoring supports commands to manage/control the deployed nodes, and provides new debug commands. To do so, we devised a debugging device called a Docking Debug-Box (D2-Box), and two program agents. In addition, we provide a scalable node monitor to enable all deployed nodes for viewing. To transmit and collect their data or information reliably, all nodes are connected using a scalable node monitor applied through the Internet. Therefore, the suggested framework in theory does not increase the network traffic for debugging on WSNs, and the traffic complexity is nearly O(1).

RFID 시스템에서 다중 태그 인식을 위한 하이브리드 충돌방지 알고리즘의 개선 및 성능 분석 (Improvement and Performance Analysis of Hybrid Anti-Collision Algorithm for Object Identification of Multi-Tags in RFID Systems)

  • The anti-collision algorithms to identify a number of tags in real-time in RFID systems are divided into the anti-collision algorithms based on the Framed slotted ALOHA that randomly select multiple slots to identify the tags, and the anti-collision algorithms based on the Tree-based algorithm that repeat the questions and answer process to identify the tags. In the hybrid algorithm which is combined the advantages of these algorithms, tags are distributed over the frames by selecting one frame among them and then identified by using the Query tree frame by frame. In this hybrid algorithm, however, the time of identifying all tags may increase if many tags are concentrated in a few frames. In this study, to improve the performance of the hybrid algorithm, we suggest an improved algorithm that the tags select a specific group of frames based on the earlier bits of the tag ID so that the tags are distribute equally over the frames. By using the simulation and mathematical analysis, we show that the suggested algorithm outperforms traditional hybrid algorithm from the viewpoint of the number of queries per frame and the time of identifying all tags.

Simulink 기반 자동차용 모터 고성능 제어를 위한 자동코드 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Auto Code Generation for High Performance Motor Control using the Simulink)

  • Nowadays, embedded software development using the MATLAB/Simulink system is gradually emerging. Studies generating the parts of embedded S/W in a Rapid Prototype are presented. In this paper, a method to generate the entire embedded S/W of enhanced AC motor control is proposed. High performance motor control could not be achieved with the basic Simulink library and RAppID Toolbox library as it does not have PWM based Interrupt, an ASAC (Analog Sensing for AC Motors) function and other special functions of the Freescale MPC555x. Consequently, the required libraries for enhanced AC motor control are created by Legacy code tool, TLC (Target Language Compiler) and S-Function (System-Function) of MATLAB/ Simulink and utilized in the Rapid Prototype. Motor control performance and execution time are compared automatically to the generated-code S/W with the hand coded S/W. The IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) and MPC5553 board that were designed as the AC motor controller for hybrid electrical vehicle are used for the test. The performances meet the requirements and satisfactory results are acquired.

A Study on RFID System with Secure Service Availability for Ubiquitous Computing

  • Spotlighted as an innovative information technology environment, ubiquitous computing has been actively researched on recently. Especially, domestic and global researches focus on the RFID system, which is being eyed to replace the existing bar-code system. As an essential technology for ubiquitous computing, the RFID system can be applied for various purposes. The security issues of the RFID system focus on how the low-priced tag type could have reasonable price competitiveness. The Auto-ID Center in the U.S. is spearheading the research on distribution service and omni-directional security. As for Japan, the researches on omni-directional security and EPC application are necessary in securing the technology for ubiquitous computing with support from the Ministry of Public Management Home Affairs, Posts, and Telecommunication. In this paper, a method of ensuring the availability of the RFID system service will be presented based on the ubiquitous computing environment with the existing omni-directional security and user-friendly interface. While the existing researches focus on the RF reader system and tag-based security, this paper's suggestion also considers the availability of a sen ice to suggest ways of increasing the practical usage of a low-priced RF tag.

In Silico 분자결합 분석방법을 활용한 MOP와 베타아사론의 열대집모기 후각단백질 활성 부위에 대한 결합 친화도 비교 분석 (In Silico Analysis and Molecular Docking Comparison of Mosquito Oviposition Pheromone and Beta-asarone on the Mosquito Odorant Binding Protein-1)

  • 베타아사론은 널리 알려진 석창포의 주요 효능 성분이다. 본 연구에서는 모기의 oviposition 페로몬 성분인 MOP와 석창포 효능성분 베타아사론의 열대집모기 후각 단백질 CquiOBP1 활성 부위에 대한 친화도 분석 실험을 컴퓨터 분자결합 분석 방법을 통해 비교하였다. CquiOBP1 후각 단백질의 3차원 구조 정보는 PDB database (PDB ID: 3OGN)를 활용하였다. In silico 결합 분석을 수행하기 위해 PyRx, Autodock Vina, Discovery Studio Version 4.5, and NX-QuickPharm 프로그램을 각 분석 조건에 따라 활용하였다. CquiOBP1 후각단백질 활성 부위에 대한 베타아사론의 결합친화도는 -6.40 kcal/mol으로 나왔으며 이는 -6.00 kcal/mol으로 나온 MOP의 결합친화도 보다 훨씬 더 높고 효율적인 것으로 분석되었다. 리간드와 상호작용 하는 CquiOBP1단백질 활성 부위의 아미노산들 가운데 TRP114가 공히 MOP와 베타아사론과 결합 하였다. CquiOBP1 단백질 활성부위의 아미노산들을 전혀 다른 전기적 성질을 지닌 아미노산으로 치환 시킨 후 분자결합 분석을 해 본 결과 리간드들의 X,Y,Z Grid 값에 현격한 변화가 유도되었으며 결합 친화도 또한 감소되었다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 베타아사론은 CquiOBP1 단백질 활성을 조절하는 리간드로서 효과적으로 작용할 것으로 보인다. 결론적으로 석창포 추출물 또는 베타아사론은 곤충기피제 신물질 연구 개발 분야에 효율적으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

클라이언트 상의 Well-Formed XML 문서 처리 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (The Design and Implementation of the System for Processing Well-Formed XML Document on the Client-side)

  • XML은 SGML의 기능 및 구문을 인터넷상에서 쉽게 실용적으로 사용하기 위하여 단순화시킨 메타언어이며 XSL, XLL 및 Xpointer등과 함께 사용되고 있다. 또한 DTD를 포함하지 않는 Well-Formed XML을 제공하여 XML문서를 웹상에서 간편하게 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 브라우즈 기능과 XLL의 확장 링크 기능, DTD 생성 기능을 통합하여 Well-Formed XML 문서를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 시스템이 제공되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트에서 DTD를 포함하지 않는 Well-Formed XML 문서를 효율적으로 처리 할 수 있도록 Well-Formed XML 뷰어와 자동DTD 생성기, Non-Validating 파서, XLL 처리기 등으로 구성된 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였으며, 확장 기능을 가지는 XLL과 Xpointer 처리, XLL의 링크 항해시 동일 클래스의 Well-Formed XML문서들에서 DTD를 추출하여 자동으로 생성하는 기능에 초점을 맞추었다. 링크 처리시, 링크 주소 지정 방식은 ID와 Xpointer에 의한 직접 주소 지정 방식을 사용하였다. 본 시스템의 구현 결과, XLL 기능의 유효성을 확인하였고 같은 루트 엘리먼트를 갖는 동일한 클래스의 Well-Formed XML문서들로부터 DTD를 추출하여 일반화된 DTD를 생성하였다.

Comparative Reverse Screening Approach to Identify Potential Anti-neoplastic Targets of Saffron Functional Components and Binding Mode

  • Background: In the last two decades, pioneering research on anti-tumour activity of saffron has shed light on the role of crocetin, picrocrocin and safranal, as broad spectrum anti-neoplastic agents. However, the exact mechanisms have yet to be elucidated. Identification and characterization of the targets of bioactive constituents will play an imperative role in demystifying the complex anti-neoplastic machinery. Methods: In the quest of potential target identification, a dual virtual screening approach utilizing two inverse screening systems, one predicated on idTarget and the other on PharmMapper was here employed. A set of target proteins associated with multiple forms of cancer and ranked by Fit Score and Binding energy were obtained from the two independent inverse screening platforms. The validity of the results was checked by meticulously analyzing the post-docking binding pose of the picrocrocin with Hsp90 alpha in AutoDock. Results: The docking pose reveals that electrostatic and hydrogen bonds play the key role in inter-molecular interactions in ligand binding. Picrocrocin binds to the Hsp90 alpha with a definite orientation appropriate for nucleophilic attacks by several electrical residues inside the Hsp90-alpha ATPase catalytic site. Conclusion: This study reveals functional information about the anti-tumor mechanism of saffron bioactive constituents. Also, a tractable set of anti-neoplastic targets for saffron has been generated in this study which can be further authenticated by in vivo and in vitro experiments.

Performance Modeling of an EPC Information Service System

  • To obtain visible and traceable information from the supply chain, HW/SW standards for the EPC global network, which process electronic product code (EPC) data read from Radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, are regarded as the de facto industry standard. Supply chain participants install information service systems and provide logistics information to partners by following the EPCglobal architecture framework. Although quality of service (QoS) is essential for providing dependable and scalable services as pointed out by Auto-ID Lab, only a few models for the performance analysis of QoS-related work have been developed in the context of EPC information service systems. Specifically, doing so allows alternative design choices to be tested in an easy and cost-effective manner and can highlight potential performance problems in designs long before any construction costs are incurred. Thus, in this study we construct a model of an EPC information service system for the purposes of performance analysis and designing a dependable system. We also develop a set of building blocks for analytical performance models. To illustrate how the model works, we determine the characteristics of an EPC information service system and then select a combination of these proven modeling concepts. We construct a performance model that considers the response time and shows how to derive meaningful performance values. Finally, we compare the analytical results to measurements of the EPC information service system.
