Recently people require complex access to problems in various fields of health, medical and welfare by an aging society. For this reason, the need for interprofessional education is required at the site of university education. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of interprofessional education (IPE) on attitudes towards health care teams. The subjects were 29 sophomores in the fields of health, medical and welfare in a university. Attitudes Towards Health Care Teams Scale (ATHCT) was used to measure the attitudes towards health care teams of subjects. The subjects were provided with a IPE program. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and paired t-test using the SPSS 26.0 version program. The attitudes towards health care teams of subjects increased significantly after IPE education (t=-4.28, p<.001). And there were significant differences in the three sub-factors of attitudes towards health care teams (Team efficacy, t=-4.44, p<.001; Benefit of communication, t=-3.30, p=.003; Team value, t=-3.21, p=.003). Therefore, the IPE program is considered to be an effective education program to improve attitudes towards health care teams.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to obtain data that can be utilized in the planning of oral health education, by surveying the correlation between oral health knowledge, attitudes, and behavior among elementary school students. Methods : A questionnaire was administered to 227 students in the 5th and 6th grades in Hongseong-gun. The obtained data were analyzed with the SPSS 14.0 program. Results : Knowledge of oral health was very high. Correct attitudes and positive behavior were indicated. There was a significant difference in oral health behavior according to school year(p<0.05). Positive correlation was significantly observed among oral health knowledge, attitudes, and behavior(p<0.01). Especially, attitudes and behavior were highly correlated(r=0.583). Conclusions : Children's knowledge, attitudes, and behavior toward oral health were mutually influenced. Thus, oral health education should be carried out with the goal of causing changes in the attitudes and behavior of students, as opposed to delivering simple knowledge. Through continuous oral health education, correct oral health knowledge and behavior can be developed. Thus oral health education was expected to promote healthy habit for oral health.
This study was conducted to analyse attitudes to a new health care system in a rural community. The specific purpose of this thesis was to classify attitudes to the patient referral system in Kangwha county, and to identify factors affecting the attitudes. Sampling was done by a multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method from the population. The data were collected in Kangwha county through a structured interview survey for two weeks in June, 1957. Attitudes to the patient referral system were classified into four types based upon answers to questions about awareness of the system, the recognition for the necessity of the system, and opinions on the improvement of the system. The four types of attitudes were active acceptance(10.2%), partial acceptance (27.2%), refusal(35.8%), and indifference(26.7%). The respondent's age, educational level, age of head of household, medical insurance fee, the number of ill family members, and the percentage of medical utilization by the family were the variables which affected the attitudes. The medical insurance fee, respondent's age, age of head of household, and the percentage of medical utilization by the family were the statistically significant discriminant factors of the four types of attitudes.

Methods: From August to October of 2006, 474 citizens of Siheung city were asked to give demographic data and their personal attitude toward mental illness and mental health services. Results: The residents of Siheung community showed slightly negative attitudes, with a mean opinion about mental illness score of $93.38{\pm}17.29$. According to the study, health professionals and citizens showed a positive attitude to the establishment of day care centers and residential facilities (62.2% and 55.4% respectively). Civil servants showed negative attitudes (40.4%). There were significant differences in attitudes according to gender, age, education level, occupation, religion, and income. Positive attitudes were found for health professionals and negative attitudes for civil servants. This study investigated the correlations of five constructs - health concerns, healthy eating practices and attitudes, food choice motives, attitudes toward organic foods - in the formation of behavioral to the purchasing intentions of organic foods. An instrument encompassing health perception, attitudes, habits and personal traits was developed through the comprehensive reviews of the literature and the assured validity and internal reliability of the contents. The questionnaire was administered to the students of three universities at Daegu, Kyungpook province. A total of 288 questionnaires were collected for a response rate of 96.0%. The correlations of five constructs and purchasing intention were tested simultaneously using structural equation modeling. Healthy eating practices and attitudes toward organic foods were found to be the determinants which directly influence the intention to purchase organic foods. Health concerns didn't show direct relation to the purchasing intention of organic foods. The hypothesized path from the health concerns to the purchasing intentions was not supported. The results indicated that food choice motives and healthy eating attitudes should be managed to achieve higher behavioral intention to purchase organic foods.
Background: Healthcare workers' attitudes toward vaccination have been widely described in the literature, but a restricted amount of studies assessed healthcare students' knowledge, attitudes, and opinions on this issue. This study aimed to estimate the influence of a degree course on knowledge and immunization behavior among healthcare students and to compare medical students with students from other health profession degree programs to identify possible differences. Methods: A multicenter, cross-sectional study was performed in 2018 in 14 Italian Universities (3,131 students were interviewed). A validated questionnaire was used to assess knowledge, attitudes, and opinions toward vaccinations, with a specific focus on influenza vaccine and attitudes toward mandatory vaccination policies. Statistical software STATA® 14 was used. Results: Significant differences were recorded between medical students and other healthcare students. The intention to get vaccinated against influenza during the next season and having been vaccinated in the previous season was higher in the medical group (p < 0.001). In the group of students of other health professions, we registered a lower probability of identifying themselves as a high-risk group for contracting infectious diseases as a consequence of their profession and health status (aOR 0.49; CI95%: 0.40-0.60) and an increased likelihood of defining their level of knowledge on vaccine-preventable diseases and related vaccinations as "insufficient/sufficient/fair" (aOR 1.31; CI95%: 1.11-1.56). Conclusions: Results show several differences between medical students and students of other health professions when it comes to vaccination knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions, as well as a general low tendency to be vaccinated against influenza.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors related to eating attitudes of female high school students. Methods: Data were collected from 299 high school girls in 2016. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 21.0. There was a negative correlation between eating attitudes and body esteem. The predictors of eating attitudes were perfectionism, body esteem, depression, and problem behaviors, which explained 23.7% of the participants' eating attitudes. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that it is necessary to recognize and measure the predictors of eating attitudes in advance and develop school-based health interventions to prevent eating disorders and improve eating attitudes among female high school students.
