The concept of attachment between users and Information Systems; specifically on mobile devices was examined in this study. Furthermore, the moderating effect of users' past experience also was investigated. The empirical study was done involving 240 university students; to investigate the participants' perceived value, perceived enjoyment, attachment and also continuous usage of mobile devices. Additionally, participants' past experience was also enquired to examine its moderating effects. The results show that attachment is mediating both perceived value and perceived enjoyment with continuous usage. Meanwhile, past experience negatively moderates perceived enjoyment with attachment and also negatively moderates attachment with continuous usage.
Prior research on the user experience assumes that when users acquire good experience through the usage of a certain device or system, the user satisfaction increases, and the user satisfaction can forecast the user loyalty effectively. However, theoretical model based on the user satisfaction does not reflect users' emotional or relationship-based experience factors which are fostered through users' long-term interaction with a device or system. Therefore, this research developed the new theoretical model based on the concept of emotional attachment and integrated the model to the existing user satisfaction model to overcome theoretical and practical limitations of the user satisfaction concept. Also, this integrated model was empirically evaluated to check its validity by surveying users of 4 kinds of electronic products.
This study aims to classify wearable devices for infants and children according to their function, and to analyze the types and attachment methods of the devices by function, operating system, characteristics of materials, and types of batteries, and to identify the points for improvement. Forty-eight types of devices investigated through previous studies and keyword research online were analyzed. Wearable devices for infants and children were classified according to their functions into wearable monitors, wearable thermometers, GPS trackers, and smart watches. Devices had different shapes and attachment methods according to their functions, and were mainly clothes or accessory types. The accessory type devices were attached to the body using velcro, clips, bands, or adhesives. Wearable monitors and thermometers mainly used Bluetooth to transmit data wirelessly, and location trackers used various combinations of 4G(LTE), 5G networks, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Smartwatches had different functions depending on whether smart phones were linked to them or not. Wearable monitors and thermometers mainly used by infants provided material information, but other devices did not. These devices used rechargeable, replaceable, non-rechargeable or non-replaceable batteries. Wearable devices need to be improved to reduce the discomfort experienced by infants and children due to the attachment position, malfunction, skin trouble caused by materials, short time of use of batteries, version conflict and complexity with the device when linking with a smart phone, and non-operation when using Bluetooth.

Most tasks of the large vertical or ceiling structures have been carried out by human power. Those tasks require us much operation costs and times, safety devices, etc. So the need of automation for those tasks have been rising. That automation needs a wall-climbing mobile vehicle. Most former researches are things about attachment devices and moving mechanisms. A wall-climbing mobile vehicle must be designed by a method different from the case of the vehicle of the horizontal environment. That is because gravity acts as a negative role on the stability of a wall-climbing vehicle. In this thesis, the particular shape characteristics of a wall-climbing mobile vehicle are derived by the wall-environment modeling. In addition, some design constraints of the permanent magnetic wheel as an attachment device was studied. According to those requirements and constraints, one specific wall-climbing mobile vehicle was designed and some experiments were made on the attachment ability of that vehicle.

The primary objective of this study is to develop a conceptual design of all-in-one attachment based steel pipe pile cutting robot that improves the conventional work in safety, quality, convenience and productivity. For this, the following research works are conducted sequentially; 1)literature review, 2)field investigation, 3)selection of element technology for conceptual design, 4)deduction of conceptual design and its work process, 5)technical feasibility analysis of the conceptual design and its work process. As a result, leveling laser and laser detector, plasma cutter, rotary grapple are selected as core technologies. Futhermore, a conceptual design and work process of an all-in-one attachment based steel pipe pile cutting robot are developed based on the core technologies. According to the technical feasibility analysis result, at least 76.8% of the respondents are selected positive answer about each device of the all-in-one attachment based steel pipe cutting robot. It is expected that the application range and impact on the construction industry will be enormous due to the increasing trend of the steel pipe pile market.

In this study, a cycling smart wear for measuring cycling posture and motion was developed using a three-dimensional motion analysis camera and an IMU inertial sensor. Results were compared according to parts to derive the optimal smart device attachment location, enabling correct posture measurement and cycle motion analysis to design a pattern. Conclusions were as follows: 1) 'S-T8' > 'S-T10' > 'S-L4' was the most significant area for each lumbar spine using a 3D motion analysis system with representative posture change (90°, 60°, 30°) to derive incisions and size specifications; 2) the part with the smallest relative angle change among significant section reference points during pattern design was applied as a reference point for attaching a cycling smart device to secure detachable safety of the device. Optimal locations for attaching the cycling device were the "S-L4" hip bone (Sacrum) and lumbar spine No. 4 (Lumbar 4th); 3) the most suitable sensor attachment location for monitoring knee induction-abduction was the anatomical location of the rectus femoris; 4) a cycling smart wear pattern was developed without incision in the part where the sensor and electrode passed. The wearing was confirmed with 3D CLO. This study aims to provide basic research on exercise analysis smart wear, to expand the smart cycling area that could only be realized with smart devices and smart watches attached to current cycles, and to provide an opportunity to commercialize it as cycling smart wear.
A 13-year-old female Poodle presented with gallbladder rupture caused by a mucocele and hypoperfusion. The animal had a thermal burn injury caused by a forced-air warming device used for hypothermia during surgery. This could be attributed to two causes. First, the forced-air warming device was used with direct hosing, without attachment to an air blanket, and the heat was concentrated in a single area. Second, perioperative peripheral hypoperfusion hampered heat dissipation and increased the susceptibility to a burn injury. These findings suggest that an air blanket should be used with a forced-air warming device according to the manufacturer's instructions. Furthermore, patients with peripheral hypoperfusion are at a higher risk of burn injuries and require close monitoring.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of mouthrinses prepared by sterilized water-generating $device(Purister^{(R)})$ on the control of gingivitis and incipient periodontitis when it was used as a adjunctives to the mechanical plaque control. 40 healthy patients with gingivitis or incipient periodontitis were divided into two groups. Patients in the experimental group use mouthrinses prepared by sterilized water-generating $device(Purister^{(R)})$ after tooth brushing while patients in the control group do only tooth brushing for plaque control. All patients received scaling and tooth brushing instruction. 1 week after scaling was set as baseline. Probing pocket depth, clinical attachment level, and bleeding on probing were scored at baseline, 4 weeks. Gingival index and plaque index were scored at baseline, 2 weeks, and 4 weeks. The results were as follows: 1. In the experimental group, gingival index, plaque index, probing pocket depth, and clinical attachment level showed statistically significant decrease, but in the control group, significant increase(p<0.05). 2. There was no significant difference between the experimental and the control group in bleeding on probing, but significant decrease in the experimental group and Significant increase in the control group In a time-dependent manner(p <0.05). From these results, it can be concluded that regular use of mouthrinses prepared by sterilized water-generating $device(Purister^{(R)})$ as adjunctives of mechanical plaque control, may be effective to prevent and treat gingivitis and incipient periodontitis.
