로터리 제진기의 Rake에 대한 설계 및 구조강도해석에 관한 연구 (A study on design and structural strength analysis for the rake of rotary screeners)

  • 로터리 제진기의 rake에 대한 설계 및 구조강도 해석을 수행하였다. 수중부의 경우 물에 의해 발생되는 수중 마찰력 및 협착물에 발생되는 수중 마찰력 등을 계산하여 하중조건을 주었고, 수상부는 rake의 자중 $239kg_f$를 분포 하중으로 설정한 후 협착물의 위치에 따라 협착물 하중 $261kg_f$을 좌측, 중앙, 우측 집중하중으로 나누어서 해석하였다. 3가지 하중조건의 해석결과는 최대 등가응력이 모두 86MPa 이하이므로 3가지 하중조건 모두 소성변형이 발생하지 않고, 안전성이 있다고 판단되었다. 협착물의 무게와 물에 의한 마찰력에 따라 발생할 수 있는 하중에 대해 $1,000kg_f$, $1,300kg_f$, $1,500kg_f$ 3가지 하중으로 나누어서 해석하였다. $1,000kg_f$, $1,300kg_f$의 해석 결과의 경우 각각 143.6MPa, 186.6MPa의 등가응력이 발생하였고 소성변형이 발생하지 않아 안전성이 있는 반면에, $1,500kg_f$의 경우는 215.41MPa의 등가응력이 발생하였고 소성변형이 발생하고 안전성이 없다고 해석되었다. ANSYS를 활용한 로터리 제진기의 rake에 가해지는 하중에 대한 구조강도 해석의 결과는 기본설계의 지침이 될 수 있었으며, 이 시제품의 기능 및 성능시험을 통하여 유한요소해석의 결과를 신뢰할 수 있었다.

침엽수 미표백 크라프트펄프와 재생고지를 이용한 단층지와 이층지의 물성 연구 (Properties of Single-and Two-layered Handsheets Formed with Sw-UKP and OCC)

  • Exploitation of the papermaking technology to reduce the strength loss that accompanies when using recycled papers as raw materials for papermaking is one of the most important issues imposed upon today's paper industry. Multi-layer sheet forming technology has been suggested as a way that provides some answers to this issue. In this study strength properties of single- and two-layer handsheets formed with recycled fiber and unbleached softwood kraft pulp have been examined to quantify the benefits when using two-layer sheet forming technology rather than a conventional single layer sheet forming precess. Single- and two-layer handsheets were made from 50% of OCC and 50% of Sw-UKP and their strength properties were evaluated. Also the strength properties made from Sw-UKP and OCC sheets were determined. A multihead, which can be attached on the top of hand- sheet former, was used to form two-layer sheets. Maximum strength properties could be obtained in the freeness range of 500∼300mL CSF for Sw-UKP Most of the strength properties was reduced by 30∼35% when 50% OCC was blended with UKP. Decrease of strength properties, however, could be reduced by employing a two-layer sheet forming method. Creator strengths could be obtained when UKP was positioned at the top layer of two layered sheets indicating greater UKP fines retention due to the filtration effect of the OCC layer formed prior to UKP layer contributed the strength improvement. Two-layer sheet showed lower Scott internal bond strength than single layer sheet. By incorporating some of UKP fibers into OCC layer this reduction could be reduced.

상아질 표면 처리에 의한 상아질과 복합레진의 결합에 관한 연구 (STUDIES ON THE BOND BETWEEN COMPOSITE RESIN AND DENTIN TREATED BY DENTIN BONDING AGENTS)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the shear bond strengths to ground dentin surfaces of four dentinal bonding agents in 193 teeth. Various dentin surfaces treated with four dentin bonding agents were attached with two restorative composite resins. The effectiveness of the bonding were tested by the monitoring the shear bond strength. The shear bond strengths were measured after 2 hours and 24 hours after surface conditioning with four dentin bonding agents. Effects of EDTA, the additive illumination, and sealer treatments without primer on bond strength to dentin surfaces were assessed. In addition the effects of the thickness of specimens ranging from 0.65 mm to 1.95 mm and the ratio of catalyst and base paste on the bond strength of chemical cure composite resin were estimated. The shear bond strength was determined by testing specimens in the Instron universal testing machine (Model No. 1122) at a crosshead speed of 1.0 mm/min. Following condusions were drawn: 1. The highest mean shear bond strengths of chemical cure composite resin to dentin conditioning with dentin bonding agents aged 2 hours were obtained, and then that was decreased with time followed by EDTA treatment. 2. In light cure composite resin, the shear bond strength was increased following dentin conditioning with bonding agents with time, irradiation time and EDTA treatment except in SB group. 3. The thicker the composite resin specimen was, the less the shear bond strength in chemical cure composite resin was. 4. In light cure composite resin, there was a little change in shear bond strength following dentin conditioning with bonding agents. 5. In chemical cure composite resin, the shear bond strength was the highest in the ratio of 1/1 of catalyst and base part. 6. Without a dentin primer, shear bond strength to dentin conditioned only with UB sealer was the highest among four sealers in light cure composite resin.

센서 네트워크를 활용한 모바일 로봇의 Path Planning (Path Planning of a Mobile Robot Using RF Strength in Sensor Networks)

  • This paper proposes a novel path finding approach of a mobile robot using RF strength in sensor network. In the experiments based on the proposed method, a mobile robot attempts to find its location, heading direction and the shortest path in the indoor environment. The experimental system consisting of mesh network shares node data and send them to base station. The triangulation and the proposed Grid method calculate the location and heading angle of the robot. In addition, the robot finds the shortest path by using the base station attached on it to receive data of environment around each node. Kalman filter reduces the straight line error when the robot estimates the strength of received signal. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

산업부산물을 사용한 포러스 콘크리트의 수질정화 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Water-Purification Properties of Porous Concrete Using Industrial By-Products)

  • The results of an experiment on the water purification of the porous concrete and its influence on the compressive strength are reported in this paper. Two different sizes of coarse aggregate of 5-10, and 10-20mm, and three absolute volume ratios of paste to aggregate of 30, 40 and 50 percent for a given size of aggregate were used. For the compressive strength, the concrete with the aggregate size of 5-10mm showed much higher strength than that with the aggregate size of 10-20mm. But, the compressive strength is higher when the ratio of paste to aggregate is smaller. In the water purification experiment, the amount of attached an organism on the porous concrete surface indirectly is examined by measuring the consumption of the Dissolved Oxygen (DO). The ability of the water purification is evaluated by the removal amount of the Total Phosphorus(T-P) and Total Nitrogen(T-N). The ability of the removal of the T-N and T-P in the test water is superior to a porous concrete with a smaller size of aggregate and a higher void content. These results are owing to a large specific surface area of the specimen. As a result, porous concrete using by-products has sufficient performance of water purification.

전기방사법으로 제조한 PU/PEG 복합 지지체의 특성 (Characteristics of PU/PEG Hybrid Scaffolds Prepared by Electrospinning)

  • Polyurethane/polyethylene glycol(PU/PEG) hybrid scaffolds with various concentrations of PEG (0 to 50wt%) were prepared by electrospinning to evaluate the mechanical properties and the biocompatibility of the PU/PEG blend scaffolds. The 12wt% PU/PEG polymers were studied due to the absence of beads. The ultimate tensile strength of 12wt% PU was $8.2{\pm}0.5MPa$. The strength increased to $9.2{\pm}0.7MPa$ when 10% PEG was added to PU. However, the dry and the wet strength of PU/PEG scaffolds began to decrease dramatically when the PEG content was more than 10wt%. No cytotoxicity was observed for all the PU/PEG scaffolds investigated, indicating that the PU/PEG hybrid scaffolds are clinically safe and effective to small-diameter vascular grafts. In addition, the L-929 cells attached and proliferated well on the PU/PEG hybrid scaffolds.

교합력의 방향에 따른 소형견 치과보철물의 압축파절강도 비교 (Comparison of compressive fracture strength of small dog dental prosthesis along the direction of bite force)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to observe the compressive fracture strength of the crown according to the direction of the occlusal force of the mandibular canine and carnassial of the small dog. Methods: The abutment models of mandibular canine and carnassial were prepared, specimens of zirconia, PMMA and Ni-Cr alloy were produced. The experimental jig was fabricated with Co-Cr alloy and buried in acrylic resin after make tilt to specified angle. The specimen was attached to a jig and loaded using a universal testing machine until the specimen fractured. Results: The compressive fracture strengths of CXZ and CXP specimens were found to be 999.21 ± 31.15 N on average and 731.42 ± 59.13 N on average. And CZZ and CZP specimens were 730.48 ± 70.14 N on average and 377.65 ± 11.87 N on average. CXN and CZN specimens were not fractured. In addition, MZZ and MZP specimens were 746.46 ± 50.75 N and 258.64 ± 31.86 N on average. The MZN specimens were not fractured. Conclusion: Zirconia has compressive fracture strength that can be applied to small dog's canine and Carnassial prosthetics, while PMMA has inadequate strength to small dog's carnassial prosthesis.

우수저류조 유닛의 하중강도에 대한 모의실험 분석 (Simulation on Loading Strength of Rainwater Storage Tank Unit)

  • The design of rainwater storage system unit to manufacture its reservoir tank was tried, the simulation to predict of their structural strength was carried out. Rainwater storage system unit should be easy to their machinability, transport and assemble. Especially, their structure was able to secure the water storage space, withstand loads and easily response to pollution. Considering these various requirements, they have to Doria-pillar structure of the Roman architectural style because these designs could disperse the loads which are applied to them. Therefore, the six kinds of models possible were proposed. Several boundary conditions were given to each model. Their structural strength was predicted through the simulation on their stress and the displacement distribution to constant load. From the evaluated data, the structure which has a large pillar in the central of unit and four small pillars each corner was the best.

접착성 레진 시멘트 와 법랑질 및 닉켈-크롬 합금 간의 전단결합강도 (SHEAR BOND STRENGTH OF RESIN ADHESIVE CEMENT TO ENAMEL AND Ni-Cr-Be ALLOY)

  • This study was executed to measure the shear bond strength of Panavia EX and Panavia 21 when the Ni-Cr-Be alloy castings were cemented to the enamel surfaces with these cements. The cast metal plates of Ni-Cr-Be alloy were sandblasted and cemented to acid etched enamel surface with Panavia EX or Panavia 21. Their shear bond strength were measured with Instron Universal Testing machine. Within the limits of this study, following conclusions were withdrawn. 1. The mean shear bond strength were 26.85.7MPa, in Panavia EX and 28.35.2MPa, in Panavia 21. 2. t-Test revealed no statistical significance between two groups(.05 level) 3. Macroscopically, bond failures were revealed compound fracture at metal and enamel interfaces, in cases of both cements, as the cement attached partly on both metal and enamel surface.

자동차용 CNG 연료탱크의 파열시험시 발생하는 음향방출변수 분석 (Study of Acoustic Emission Parameters Involved in Burst Test for CNG-Vehicle Fuel Tank)

  • 본 연구는 자동차용 CNG 연료탱크의 파열시험시 발생하는 음향방출변수의 분석에 관한 내용이다. 연료탱크의 복합재료 중앙부 표면에 150kHz 공진형 AE센서를 부착하여 파열시험시 발생하는 음향방출 신호를 획득하고, 가압유지시간 동안의 hit, amplitude, count, duration, risetime, signal strength 등과 같은 음향방출 변수들을 분석하였다. 음향방출 변수 중 total count, total signal strength가 연료탱크 손상정도를 평가하는데 유용한 변수임을 알 수 있었다.
