  • In this paper, the development of a new group controller for high-speed elevator is carried out utilizing approach of an adaptive dual fuzzy logic. A goals of control are the minimization of waiting time, mean-waiting time and long-waiting time in a building. when a new hall call is generated, adaptive dual fuzzy controller evaluate traffic pattern and change appropriately the membership function of fuzzy rule base. Control for co-operation among elevators in group control algorithm are essential, and the most critical control function in group controller is a effective and proper hall call assignment of elevators. Thy group elevator system utilizing adaptive dual fuzzy control reveals a great deal of improvement on its performance.

  • In multi-hop wireless network, multi-channel makes it possible to enhance network performance because it reduces channel interferences md contentions. Recently several schemes have been proposed in the literatures to use multi-channel. Especially, MCR(Multi channel routing protocol), which utilize hybrid interface assignment, is a prominent routing protocol. MCR uses simple way to change channel but efficiently reduce channel interferences. In this paper, we propose a load-aware channel selection algorithm called LCS that enhances the channel switching algerian used in MCR protocol. In LCS, channel of a node is assigned based on collected information about queue length of neighbors. Moreover this paper evaluates the performance of in by using simulation test and testbed demonstration. Test results show that the MCR with LCS outperforms the naive MCR.

  • Today, many companies will be isolated in competition if they do not have competitive power to overcome quick change and big crisis of market. Nowadays, globally high-grade companies have done their best for increasing their competitive power through a many kinds of methods in keen competition for making of pacesetting position. This study focuses on distribution with the domains like capacity, layout, amount of location, assignment of product, operation procedure and operation rule in order to improve these domains, we make a further application of eight analysis ways based on DMAIC method for improving operation of processes of distribution center as the third profit source. The purpose of this study is to seek an approach that can easily adopt of Lean Six Sigma in operational management of distribution center by a kind of data, analysis method and template.

Analysis of the Effect of Autonomous Driving of Waste Vehicles on CO2 Emission using Macroscopic Model (거시모형을 이용한 폐기물 차량 자율주행이 이산화탄소 배출량에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to quantitatively present the carbon dioxide(CO2) emission change according to the application of autonomous driving technology at the network level for waste vehicles in the metropolitan area. Method: The target year was set to 2030, and the analysis method estimated the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions for each road link through user equilibrium assignment when unapplied scenario. The application scenario performed traffic assignment using route data on the premise that the group was running in accordance with the application of autonomous driving technology to waste vehicles. In addition, the other means estimated the carbon dioxide emissions through user balance allocation by reflecting the results of the waste vehicle allocation. Result: As a result of the analysis, carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions were found to be reduced by about 56.9ton/day from the national network level, and the Seoul metropolitan area was analyzed to be reduced by about 54.7ton/day. Conclusion: This study quantitatively presented environmental impacts among various social effects that autonomous driving technology will bring, and in the future, development of various analytical methodologies and related studies should be continuously conducted.

Development of Dynamic Passenger-Trip Assignment Model of Urban Railway Using Seoul-Incheon-Gyeonggi's Transportation Card (대중교통카드기반 수도권 도시철도 통행수요배정모형)

  • With approximately 20 million transportation card data entries of the metropolitan districts being generated per day, application of the data to management and policy interventions is becoming an issue of interest. The research herein attempts a model of the possibility of dynamic demand change predictions and its purpose is thereby to construct a Dynamic Passengers Trip Assignment Model. The model and algorithm created are targeted at city rail lines operated by seven different transport facilities with the exclusion of travel by bus, as passenger movements by this mode can be minutely disaggregated through card tagging. The model created has been constructed in continuous time as is fitting to the big data characteristic of transport card data, while passenger path choice behavior is effectively represented using a perception parameter as a function of increasing number of transfers. Running the model on 800 pairs of metropolitan city rail data has proven its capability in determining dynamic demand at any moment in time, in line with the typical advantages expected of a continuous time-based model. Comparison against data measured by the eye of existing rail operating facilities to assess changes in congestion intensity shows that the model closely approximates the values and trends of the existing data with high levels of confidence. Future research efforts should be directed toward continued examination into construction of an integrated bus-city rail system model.

  • With the change of the housing market, construction company should diversify publicity activities. Especially, TV advertisement exerts a stronger influence on customers. So it's important to understand process materialized with company's strategic image. 1) First of all, it was found that clusters is the assignment of a set of similar character with cluster analysis 2) An attempt was made to draw a diagram to measure the objective distance between advertisement Image and remained brand image. It's possible to confirm which Idea of advertisement concept is effective and whether present strategy is collect or not.

Comparison of Nutritional Status and Beliefs on Health Behavior Regarding Stages of change in Dietary Fat Reduction among Korean Men and Women (한국 성인 남녀에서 지방섭취제한 행동 변화단계에 따른 영양상태와 건강관련 행위에 대한 신념 비교)

  • This study describes the application of the stages of change construct to fat intake by examining the associations of the stages of change with nutritional status and beliefs on health behavior. Data were obtained from apparently healthy 596 adults(326 females and 270 males) residing in large cities. Stages of change assessed by an algorithms based on 6 items were designed each subject into one of the 5 stages: precontemplation(PC), contemplation(CO), preparation(PR), action(AC) and maintenance(MA). Beliefs on health behavior were assessed by self efficacy as well as 4 belief scales from the Locus of Illness Control(LIC) developed using factor analysis such as internal disease cure and prevention and external disease cure and prevention. Energy and fat intakes were measured by a 39 item short form food frequency questionnaire. Regarding the 5 stages of change, MA stage comprised the largest group(37.9%), followed by Ac(30.7%), PC(11.4%), CO(10.4%) and PR(9.6%). Subjects who were females, older or healthier were more likely to belong to either AC or MA. Stage assignment of individuals was corroborated by their nutritional variables. Those in PC had the most energy and fat and those in MA ate the least for females. BMI was higher in PR than any other stages for both males and females. Those in PC were distinctive in that they were more externally oriented in terms of health control showing higher scores on external disease prevention(for males) and external disease cure(for females), and lower score on internal disease cure. On the other hand, those in MA received the highest scores on internal disease prevention and self efficacy, which suggested that they were more internally oriented. Canonical discriminant function analysis indicated that the 5 stages were importantly discriminated by BMI, self efficacy, internal disease prevention and external disease prevention for males and by fat intake, self efficacy and external disease cure variables for females. The results of our study confirm differences in stages of change in fat intake in terms of nutritional status and beliefs on heath behavior and indicate the need for taking these phases of change into account in nutrition advice. Oxidation-induced conformational change of Hsp33, monitored by NMR

  • Hsp33 is a prokaryotic molecular chaperon that exerts a holdase activity upon response to an oxidative stress at raised temperature. In particular, intramolecular disulfide bond formation between the four conserved cysteines that bind a zinc ion in reduced state is known to be critically associated with the redox sensing. Here we report the backbone NMR assignment results of the half-oxidized Hsp33, where only two of the four cysteines form an intramolecular disulfide bond. Almost all of the resolved peaks could be unambiguously assigned, although the total assignments extent reached just about 50%. Majority of the missing assignments could be attributed to a significant spectral collapse, largely due to the oxidation-induced unfolding of the C-terminal redox-switch domain. These results support two previous suggestions: conformational change in the first oxidation step is localized mainly in the C-terminal zinc-binding domain, and the half-oxidized form would be still inactive. However, some additional regions appeared to be potentially changed from the reduced state, which suggest that the half-oxidized conformation would be an intermediate state that is more labile to heat and/or further oxidation.

The Effect of Smart Working and Psychological Attachment from Work on Right to Disconnect : Focused on Moderating Effect of Open Communication and Gender (스마트워크와 심리적 비분리가 연결되지 않을 권리 인식에 미치는 영향 : 의사소통 개방성과 성별의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Recently, office workers are increasingly aware of the right to disconnect because of the pressure from strong connections with Internet messengers. In this study, we examined the reason why the perception of the right to disconnect increases and how to deal with it. This research model is that smart working and psychological attachment from work affect right to disconnect, and that open communication and gender moderate the intensity of these effects. To verify this research model, survey questionnaires were distributed to workers in smart working environments, and 400 data were collected and analyzed using Smart-PLS. As results of data analysis, it was verified that smart working and psychological attachment from work had a significant influence on right to disconnect, that open communication group had a lesser effect of psychological attachment from work on right to disconnect than closed communication group, and that women had a lesser effect of psychological attachment from work on right to disconnect than men. Organizations need to maintain a desirable level of right to disconnect in order to improve the quality of working life. But, if it is impossible, They need to change the way of communication more openly so as to absorb the burden of strong connection by Internet. And they need to perform task assignment or stress relief policy reflecting gender characteristics.
