대학수학에서 편지쓰기를 이용한 학습태도 변화 (Learning Altitude Change with Letter-Writing at College Mathematics Class)

  • 대학수학 학습에서 성공하기 위한 중요한 요인 중의 하나는 학생들에게 강력한 학습동기를 부여하는 것이다. 여기서는 글쓰기 과제가 수학 학습의 동기를 불러일으키고 학생들의 학습태도를 어떻게 변화시킬 수 있는가를 알아보려고 한다. 수업시간에 일어난 또는 의논된, 강의된 내용 중에서 두, 세 개의 가장 중요하다고 여겨지는 주제를 골라 학생들이 보고 느낀 대로 요약하여 친구나 가족 또는 보내고 싶은 사람에게 편지를 쓰도록 하고 편지쓰기 반응과 편지쓰기 결과를 분석하여 편지쓰기 시도가 수학의 저변확대와 수학학습 태도의 긍정적인 변화를 불러오고 나아가 학습능력 향상에 도움을 주는지 알아보고 더 나은 방법을 찾아본다.

Joint Channel Assignment and Multi-path Routing in Multi-radio Multi-channel Wireless Mesh Network

  • Multi-radio multi-channel Wireless Mesh Network requires an effective management policy to control the assignment of channels to each radio. We concentrated our investigation on modeling method and solution to find a dynamic channel assignment scheme that is adapted to change of network traffic. Multi-path routing scheme was chosen to overwhelm the unreliability of wireless link. For a particular traffic state, our optimization model found a specific traffic distribution over multi-path and a channel assignment scheme that maximizes the overall network throughput. We developed a simple heuristic method for channel assignment by gradually removing clique load to obtain higher throughput. We also presented numerical examples and discussion of our models in comparison with existing research.

  • At the conclusion of a double-blinded, randomized clinical trial of propranolol hydrochloride, but before un blinding, the patients and clinic personnel were asked to guess the treatment group assignment of each patient. While 79.9% of the patients receiving propranolol correctly Identified their treatment group assignment, 57.2% of the patients receiving placebo incorrectly guessed that they were aiso in the propranolol group. No specific mechanism was identified to explain why more patients receiving propranolol were better able to guess' their group assignment. Clinic physicians correctly identified the group assignment of 69.9% of the patients receiving propranolol and 68.8% of the patients receiving placebo. Clinic coordinators correctly identified the group assignment of 67.1% of the patients receiving propranolol and 70.6% of the patients receiving placebo. For clinic personnel, heart rate level and heart rate change seem to be the mechanisms employed to Identify their patients' treatment assignment.

  • 본 논문은 설비 설치비용과 판매단가로 구성된 다수의 구매처 입찰정보로부터 구성품을 구매함에 있어 최소의 비용으로 구매하기 위해 구매처와 구매 물량을 선정하는 입찰평가 문제를 다룬다. 이 문제에 대해 기존에 알려진 방법은 분기한정 법(BB)과 분기절단 법(BC)이 알려져 있다. 그러나 이들 방법으로 얻은 해가 최적 해가 되지 않는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 판매단가 순위 또는 설치비용 순위 우선 구매물량 배정원칙을 적용하여 초기 실현 가능 해를 얻고, 판매단가 또는 설치비용을 고려하여 물량을 이동(구매업체 변경)시키는 최적화를 수행하는 방법을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법을 실험 데이터에 적용한 결과 BB와 BC에 비해 구매비용을 크게 절감할 수 있었다.

  • This study develops a improved gate assignment algorithm and decision support system using its algorithm to extract a assignment result minimizing a walking distance of passengers in airport and maximizing the utilization rate of avaliable gates in domestic airports. By operation support system, it may contribute greatly in efficient enlargement of airport operation and increase the airport reliability through quickly coping with takeoff and landing delay of flight due to weather change, preservation and repair of gate, etc. Also, passengers who use airport terminal can minimize time and walking distance for departure, arrival, and transit, and it may greatly reduce the additional operation cost for common gates through maximizing the utilization rate for exclusive usage gates for airplanes which use gates.

  • In FMS where tool movement policy is adopted, a mathematical model has been developed which determines the selection of a tool type for each operation and tool loading-part assignment simultaneouly. The objective is to minimize the total cost of operation including machining time cost, tool cost, tool replacement and loading time cost, and tool change time cost. Due to the complexity of the problem, an approximate solution procedure has been developed utilizing the special structure of the model. Tool selection was determined first to allocate one tool type to each operation considering more than one tool type alternatives for each operation. Tool loading-part assignment was determined to minimize tile total number of tool changes due to part mix based on the tool selection.

  • Nowadays much efforts for evaluating the productivity of port physical distribution system to meet the rapid change of the port and shipping circumstances has been made continuously all over the world. The major part of these efforts is the improvement of the productivity of cargo handling system. The cargo equipment system as infrastructure in the cargo handling system is organized well in some degrees, but the management system of manpower as upper structure is still remained in an insufficient degree. There is little study, so far, on a systematic research for the management of port labor gang, and even those were mainly depended on rule of thumb. The object of this study is to introduce the method of optimal allocation and assignment for the labor gang in single ship, which was suggested as a first stage in dealing with them generally. The problem of optimal allocation and assignment of the labor gang can be (I) formalized with multi-stage allocation and assignment of the labor gang can be. (II) dealt with two stages in form of hierarchic structure and moreover, (III) The optimal size of labor gang was obtained through dynamic programming from the point of minimizing the summation of labor gang in every stage, (IV) For the problem of optimal assignment, the optimal policy was determined at the point of minimizing the summation of movement between hatches.

  • The necessity of university's educational change is rising up, along with a social environment that keeps changing. This study deals with a newly educational style by recognizing the necessity of variance for engineering education, according to engineers' diversified roles within a company. The study was conducted by 7 members of middle-sized group, replaced from 5 members of small-sized and each was given his task by his job such as CEO, CMO, CSO, CIO, CCO, CQO or Auditor. On the basis of four theoretical backgrounds, this paper investigated students' level of learning satisfaction shown before and after task undertaking through a questionnaire and appraised the result made before and after task undertaking. This study is expected to improve a teaching method of university engineering education.

교통량 배정을 고려한 지구단위설계에 관한 연구 (A sutdy on the District Unit Design by Traffic Assignment)

  • 본 연구에서는 지구단위 설계시 교통부문에서 다양한 도시설계 및 교통정책의 적용에 따른 교통량 패턴 효과를 분석해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가상네트워크(Toy Network)를 설정하고 토지이용패턴과 교통정책을 접목한 19개의 시나리오를 가정한 후 교통수요 예측 프로그램인 EMME3를 이용하여 교통량 배정량을 산정하고 비교하였다. 그 결과 총 교통량이 가장 많이 감소한 정책은 지구의 중간부를 개발하면서 동시에 내부의 2차로 도로는 차량 통행을 금지시키고 보행자 천국을 만드는 것이었다. 총 통행량이 가장 많이 발생된 정책은 균등개발을 하며 지구의 중간부에 공동 주차장을 만드는 것이었으며 내부 연도 주민에게 가장 불리한 정책은 지구 중심의 한 개 존만을 개발하는 것임을 확인할 수 있었다.
