Structural lightweight concrete will reduced total loads of supporting sections and foundations in archtectural and civil structures. So, the lightweight concrete can use widely for various purpose in the archtectural and civil structures. However, the performance of lightweight concrete is essentially dependent of properties of used lightweight aggregates. So, in this paper were examined the fresh and hardened properties of lightweight concrete that are used 3types of the differences properties of lightweight aggregates from lower water-ratio to higher water-ratio of concrete mixing regions. Lightweight concrete was somewhat exhibit larger slump loss than ordinary concrete. Also, the development of compressive strength was lower than ordinary concrete, however it was not showed a marked difference. According to types of lightweight aggregates, the case of synthetic lightweight aggregate are highest performance in fresh and hardened concrete, but it is should be to evaluate the structural performance testing as anchoring and bond strength with reinforcing steel bars.

In this paper, the properties of reclaimed ash(RA) from various domestic thermal power plants(S, D and H) were analyzed, and the possibility of fabricating the artificial lightweight aggregate(ALA) using RA was studied. The chemical compositions of RA are similar to the clay, but it had higher concentrations of alkali earth metal oxides(CaO, MgO) and unburned-carbon. The TCLP(Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure) results showed that the dissolution concentrations of heavy metal ions of RA were below the limitation defined by the enforcement regulation of wastes management law in Korea. The results of IC analysis showed that leaching concentration of $Cl^-$ ion was 124 ppm for RA of HN and ${SO_4}^{2-}$ ion was leached a few hundreds ppm for all RA in this study. The ALAs with various mass ratio of clay to reclaimed ash(RA:Clay = 7:3, 6:4, 5:5, 4:6, 3:7) were sintered with a electric muffle furnace at the temperature of $1050{\sim}1200^{\circ}C$. The specific gravity and water absorption(%) of the sintered ALAs were 1.1~1.8 and 10~30% respectively. The ALA sintered in the rotary kiln at $1125^{\circ}C$ showed a bulk density of 1.7 and water absorption of 15.2%.

Even though there can be a relative long-term or short-term change of their size in natural beaches due to various changes of sea condition such as the location, weather condition (wind and rain) and sea water flow, the budget of deposits in a specific area is generally regarded to be in a condition of equilibrium in terms of technology. However, as coasts are developed by many different kinds of ways (such as construction of sea walls and estuarine, dredging for gathering the aggregate and shore protection construction for establishing a structure) and sources of silt and gravel from rivers are decreased in balanced beaches, the beaches are in a serious danger of lack of sand and sand sources which are one of the maul elements to consist of them. Many swimming beaches in East Sea are directly exposed by waves generated and transmitted from outer seas. On the other hand, the Song-Do sandy beach which is this study's target area has a great condition for beach development because it locates the deepest place that is relatively shallow in Young-Il Man and there is big energy decrease given to waves from outer seas while the waves are reaching the Song-Do beach. Nevertheless, it is considered that artificial condition changes such as dredging for site extension by POSCO, getting straight of Hyoung-San Gang river flow and extension of Po-Hang harbor caused the sand loss of the beach. Therefore, some recovery plans of Song-Do sandy beach will be presented in this study and they will be compared and examined each other by numerical modeling experiment. After that, the best plan will be recommended.

Fish aggregating devices(FAD) or artificial fish reefs deployed in the ocean space have been developed in various forms. The objective of FAD is to aggregate, cultivate and proliferate aquatic resources by making changes in ocean flows around it. developing spawning grounds, improving feeding areas and protecting larvae and juveniles. Most floating fish aggregating devices(FFAD) are in the form of surface buoys or subsurface buoys with a single point mooring system(SPMS). The mooring line of SPMS for the secure positions of FFAD is expected to keep great stresses as a result of the harsh ocean environment. Laboratory static tests on synthetic fiber ropes used for the SPMS were run. The Nylon wet rope specimen tests under increasing-and-decreasing loads showed about 20% strength drop. Also the logarithmic creep-tie behavior of fiber ropes was observed in the constant load test and compared with Flessner's formula.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing are driving innovation across industries. These technologies are generating massive amounts of data that many companies are leveraging. However, there is a notable reluctance among users to share sensitive information due to the privacy risks associated with collecting personal data. This is particularly evident in the healthcare sector, where the collection of sensitive information such as patients' medical conditions poses significant challenges, with privacy concerns hindering data collection and analysis. This research presents a novel technique for collecting and analyzing medical data that not only preserves privacy, but also effectively extracts statistical information. This method goes beyond basic data collection by incorporating a strategy to efficiently mine statistical data while maintaining privacy. Performance evaluations using real-world data have shown that the propose technique outperforms existing methods in extracting meaningful statistical insights.

The purpose of this study is to simulate the riverbed profile changes downstream of Daecheong re-regulation dam from 1988 to 2001, to evaluate the model's applicability and to predict a long-term riverbed-level variation between 2002 and 2017. As a result of simulation 14 sediment transport equations provided by GSTAR-1D, it was found that Acker's & White formula was the most stable relatively. The interval used to calculate its stability was 7 days for bankful discharge$(1,000m^2/s)$, 3 days for daily maximum flow$(4,273m^2/s)$, 1 day for hourly maximum flow$(7,605m^2/s)$ and minimum flow$(8.5m^2/s)$. The simulation results of river bed changes were evaluated and compared to its measure data from 1988 to 2001. It was showed that there was the degradation for a section between Daecheong re-regulation dam and Maepo water stage gage station due to bed-material, and the degradation for a reach between Maepo and Gongju water stage gage station due to massive aggregate collection. Also, as a result of simulating the river profile change for 2002 to 2017, it was predicted that the section between Daecheong re-regulation dam and Geumnam Bridge would remain as the present profile and the reach between Maepo and Gongju water stage gage station would have some degradations in several parts, which would be stable as a whole unless it was due to artificial river profile change.
With the development of construction technology, constructions of dam and levee (dike) as well as the environmental problems are becoming issues. Recently, many countries have tried to develop and used CSG (Cemented Sand and Gravel), which needs fewer requirements than others in aggregates, constructability and ground condition during the dam construction. Mixing up with small amount of cement, CSG is able to increase the strength and proceed accelerated construction without artificial gradation adjustment of riverbed aggregate and crushed rock on construction site. Thus, CSG can minimize environmental damage resulted from quarries mining and reduce cost of construction. Unlike heat of hydration condition that regular concrete usually met, CSG exposes to repeated dry-wet and freezing and thawing environment. Thus, consider the importance of structure of dam or levee, intensive study on the durability of CSG is needed. In this study, freezing and thawing experiment was carried out to evaluate the durability of CSG. In results, the durability factor of CSG is 30~40 or >40 when the amount of cement is $0.4{\sim}0.6kN/m^3$ or $0.8{\sim}1.0kN/m^3$, respectively. The unconfined compressive strength is reduced to 30~50% or 40~70% when the amount of cement is $0.4{\sim}0.6kN/m^3$ or $0.8{\sim}1.0kN/m^3$, respectively. Taken together, the strength and durability of CSG is reliable when the amount of cement is over $0.8kN/m^3$.

Recently, much attention has focused on the study of eco-friendly concrete using recycled by-products for protecting marine ecosystem and durability of concrete exposed to marine condition. This study evaluated the durabilities of 4 different type of concrete mixtures(Control, Marine, Porous, New slag) with the seawater resistance by marine environment exposure experiment and freeze-thaw resistance, resistance to chloride ion penetration considering severe deterioration environment. In this study, we conducted seawater resistance using compressive strength according to the age(7/28/56 days) of specimen and curing conditions(standard(fresh water), tidal, immersion, artificial seawater). The results show that compressive strength of concrete exposed to marine environment exposure condition was lower than those of the standard curing condition. Also, compressive strength of New slag using eco-friendly materials for protecting marine ecosystem was lower than those of other concretes, there is need to improve the performance of New slag. The results for freeze-thaw resistance showed that all mixtures have excellent, but the Porous and New slag were lower than others. Also, the more improved resistance to chloride ion penetration than those of the Marine was measured in the New slag regardless of curing condition.
Landfill require special care due to the dangers of nearby surface water and underground water pollution caused by leakage of leachate. The leachate does not leak due to the installation of the geomembrane but sharp wastes or landfill equipment can damage the geomembrane and therefore a means of protecting the geomembrane is required. In Korea, in accordance with the waste control act being modified in 1999, protecting the geosynthetics liner on top of the slope of landfill and installing a drainage layer to fluently drain leachate became mandatory, and technologies are being researched to both protect the geomembrane and quickly drain leachate simultaneously. Therefore, this research has its purpose in studying the drainage functions of leachate and protection functions of the geomembrane in order to examine the application possibilities of Geo-Multicell-Composite (GMC) as a Leachate Collection Removal and Protection System (LCRPs) at the slope on top of the geomembrane of landfill by observing methods of inserting filler with high-quality water permeability at the drainage net. GMC's horizontal permeability coefficient is $8.0{\times}10^{-4}m^2/s$ to legal standards satisfeid. Also crash gravel used as filler respected by vertical permeability is 5.0 cm/s, embroidering puncture strength 140.2 kgf. A result of storm drain using artificial rain in GMC model facility, maxinum flow rate of 1,120 L/hr even spray without surface runoff was about 92~97% penetration. Further study, instead of crash gravel used as a filler, such as using recycled aggregate utilization increases and the resulting construction cost is expected to savings.
