하이테크 구조물을 모티브로 한 섬유 패션디자인상품의 소재개발 및 적용 (Study on Creating Textile Designs for Fashion Products Inspired by High Tech Architectural Structures)

  • Design in the 21st Century requires showing extraordinary and revolutionary possibilities by merging multiple cultures or different art forms. 21C fashion also increases its's complexity through the blending in of other design field's styles and forms. In other words, 21C's fashion design involves not only clothing, but combines techniques, aspects and functions fulled from various design categories. As a result, Current fashion design becomes more unique, and shows various styles. From this point of view, this study focuses on creating and suggesting unique textile designs through the understanding of design processes of textiles, which are inspired by high tech architectural structures. The fundamental shape of the architectural structures were simplified into thick lines and geometric shapes. these design elements were then transferred into textile designs. As a result, unique textile looks were created, and were applied to the apparel designs by CAD to see 3d simulations. Exchanging or merging ideas of different design categories leads innovative and fresh looks. 21C is rapidly changing, and designers need to continually introduce new looks every season. Incorporating 21st Century consumption patterns, designers must understand the process of creating original designs through various methods. The innovative fabric designs for this study involved a creative process of drawing from a step by step breakdown of two separate design fields, which were then merged into one finished design. The data and research from this study can be used as a reference tool for any further applicable fashion and textile designs in the future.

'피네간의 경야(經夜)'를 통해 본 존 케이지 음악과 베르나르 츄미 건축의 상호텍스트성에 관한 연구 - 불확정성 개념의 표현양상을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Intertextuality of John Cage's Music and Bernard Tschumi's Architecture in the viewpoint of Finnegan's Wake - Focusing on the Presentation Aspects of Indeterminacy -)

  • Since the emergence of a philosophical theory called deconstructivism, intertextuality has been promote the hybrid phenomenon amongst other jenres in arts. Various research efforts in intertextuality, however, have been more focused on the fields of literature and philosophy, rather than of architecture. This study aims to clarify the intertextuality between architectural design, music and literature as the following analysis of James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake, John Cage's music and Bernard Tschumi's early works. Joyce's Garden of Bernard Tschumi's project and some of John Cage's music works had borrowed from Finnegan's Wake, a novel James Joyce. Hence, the commonality between Bernard Tschumi and John Cage can naturally be related through Finnegan's Wake. Also, Finnegan's Wake had been contextualized by Jacques Derrida before it was used as a mediation by Bernard Tschumi. In this viewpoint, the paper will be able to identify the possibility of intertextuality between musical text and architectural one with a medium of literature. Major findings of the study are as follows: First, Finnegan's Wake played a guiding role to deconstruct the existing formalism and to construct a new concept in John Cage's music and Bernard Tschumi's architecture. Second, John Cage's music and Bernard Tschumi's works are included commonness with indeterminacy concepts. Third, the both artists share a drawing concept as found in John Cage's graphic notation of the 1950s and Bernard Tschumi's early architecture where grids, dots, and curves are used in common. As s result, intertextuality could be possible to make sure between others. Like this interdisciplinary research of relationships among different fields will be of great help in constructing creative design methods in architecture. With continuous research attempts, it is hopeful to intertextualize architectural texts with related art fields.

자하 하디드의 건축디자인과정에서 다시점 표현기법의 활용과 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics and Use of Multi-Visual Expression Techniques in Architectural Design Process of Zaha Hadid)

  • This study divides the expression techniques of Zaha Hadid into various types who has manipulated her targeted drawings as her unique design tools in the process of architectural design, analyzes them in terms of the vanishing point, visual point for observation and object of observation and attempts to figure out how the multi-visual expression is applied in the conception of form and space and method of observation. By doing so, this study will suggest the characteristics of the expression techniques using multi-visual. Through the above study, the utilization and characteristics of multi-visual expression of the architecture design process of Zaha Hadid are summarized as follows. Firstly, Zaha Hadid utilizes the strained multi-visual perspective technique which can look out over the interaction between masses simultaneously at multi-angles by changing a perspective drawing of vanishing point 1, 2, and 3. Secondly, it utilizes a landscape perspective technique and embodies an Idea of landscape's spatial arrangement through it as the means to search a dynamic relation of architecture, city, land, and space. Thirdly, there is a projected expression using X-ray perspective technique to make the relations between inside and outside of building to three-dimension volume. Zaha Hadid has used the expression techniques using multi-visual by utilizing various points and has developed and used them as her creative tools for idea. By means of escaping from the expression techniques of simple revival, she has used a new expression technique that can represent recognized space. In the past, the content could change the expression techniques in architecture; however, the liberation of architectural expression techniques can change the content in modern times when require new attempts.

  • 최근 국내외 건설 분야에서 건축물 리노베이션 및 유지보수를 위한 BIM 적용이 활발해지는 추세이나, 상당수 기존 건축물이 현 상태를 반영하지 않은 2D 도면을 보유함에 따라 이를 바탕으로 한 BIM 모델 작성이 어려운 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 역설계 기술을 활용하고자, 건축 MEP 역설계 지침을 위한 포인트 클라우드 데이터 관련 데이터 구조 및 프로세스를 분석하고, 역설계 지침을 위한 고려사항을 도출하였다. 국내 시장에서 3차원 스캐닝 기술의 활발한 적용을 위해, 프로젝트 수행 초기 단계인 지상 라이다를 이용한 현장에 대한 데이터 취득, 취득 단계에서 얻은 포인트 클라우드 데이터의 기초 처리 및 프로세스 분석에 대해 연구 목적을 두고 있다.

중소규모 건설회사 CAD 활용현황과 대학교육 방안 (Survey on CAD Softwares Used in Small Contractors and Improvement to College CAD Education)

  • 건축공학을 전공한 학생들이 보유해야할 CAD 활용능력을 조사하기 위해 제주지역 중소규모 건설회사를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 소규모 건설회사는 CAD 소프트웨어를 사용하여 기존 도면을 수정하고 있다. 또한 지방의 국립대학의 CAD 수업현황을 분석하였다. 기존의 CAD 수업은 4시간 또는 6시간으로 진행하고 있으며 AutoCAD를 주로 사용하고 있다. CAD 수업은 6시간 실습이 필요하다고 판단되며 2D 도면 작성이 주요 실습내용이 되어야 하고 3D 모델 작성도 수업에 편성되어야 한다. 수업의 결과를 평가할 수 있는 방법의 개선도 필요하며, 인터넷을 활용하거나 스마트폰을 이용한 실시간 피드백을 대안이 될 수 있다.

이동최소자승법 최적화를 이용한 도면 배치 (Positioning Blueprints with Moving Least Squares Optimization)

  • 우리는 최적화된 이동최소자승법으로 구축된 벡터장을 이용하여 도면의 배치를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 전문 건축설계사무소에서는 특정영역에 건물들을 배치시키기 위해 디자이너가 수동으로 직접 위치를 결정하기 때문에 처리 비용이 클 뿐만 아니라 작업시간도 오래 걸린다. 이 비효율적인 문제를 해결하기 위해 우리는 최적화된 이동최소자승법을 기반으로 도면의 배치를 자동으로 결정할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 프레임워크에서는 우선 디자이너가 실제 건축설계를 원하는 사업장 영역을 선택하고 이 영역을 기반으로 지형의 흐름을 계산한다. 이동최소자승법을 최적화시켜 벡터장을 추출하고, 이 벡터장을 기반으로 도면의 회전 양을 결정한다. 제안된 방법으로 얻어진 도면배치는 실제로 건물을 배치할 때 나타나는 흐름과 매우 유사한 특징을 갖고 있으며, 결과적으로 디자이너의 비효율적인 노동력을 줄여 전반적인 건축설계과정의 효율성을 한층 높였다.

아파트 단지 인공지반의 계획적 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Landscape Planning Evaluation on Apartment Artificial Ground)

  • Landscaping on artificial ground is currently served as a means to imposing a greenery benefit on high-density and high-rise apartment sites. It functions as a sub-hierarchy in apartment planning such as ornamental element from the past. Major parking space tends to be allocated on the basement area in response to the required parking regulation. Therefore, competitive relatioinship between the parking and greenery space I limited outdoor of apartments leads to the development planning strategy and technology of artificial ground. This study aims at evaluating landscape planning on artificial ground of apartment complex through several approaches such as site survey, plan drawing analysis, and interview with related field experts. 15 survey apartment sites including Bundang Model, Shindaebang-dong, Pyoungchon Hyundai Apartments have been selected for conducting the research. Main results of this study are summarized below : First, scattering allocation of artificial ground between apartment building units is a dominant plan layout type among the survey sites. Even though unifying allocation type has an advantage to maximize underground parking space, it has a difficulty in maintaining proper soil ground base for nurturing plants. Therefore, underground parking space should be planned by unifying allocation type placed separately from apartment units. This plan type can provide a balanced planting between soil and artificial ground on surface level. Second, It is strongly recommended to integrate the whole planting base which involves architectural structure, drainage, and water proofing above the planting design. When considering that process as a professional subject dealing with natural material such as trees and shrubs, those tasks should be directed by landscape architectural divison and landscape architect. And planting area for artificial ground has to be specified in initial phase of architectural design. This step provides an opportunity to make a proper decision on structural load, drainage, and water proof design as an integrated part of the management.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a modeling methodology through the exchange of coordinate data of a three-dimensional custom curtain wall panel between Rhino and Revit, and to examine the validity of the model implemented in the drawing. Although the modeling means and method are different, a fundamental principle is that all three-dimensional modeling begins by defining the position of the points, the most primitive element of geometry, in the XYZ coordinate space. For the BIM modeling methodology proposal based on this geometry basic concept, the functions and characteristics associated with the points of Rhino and Revit programs are identified, and then BIM implementation process model is organized and systemized through the setting of the interoperability process algorithm. The BIM implementation process model proposed in this study is (1) Modeling and panelizing surface into individual panels using Rhino and Grasshopper; (2) Extraction of vertex coordinate data from individual panels and create CSV file; (3) Curtain wall modeling through Adaptive Component Family in Revit and (4) Automatic creation of Revit curtain wall panels through API. The proposed process model is expected to help reduce design errors and improve component and construction quality by automatically converting general elements into architectural meaningful information, automating a set of processes that build them into BIM data, and enabling consistent and integrated design management.

3D 프린팅 기술의 건설 산업 적용가능성 검토 (Reviewing the Applicability of 3D Printing Technology in the Construction Industry)

  • 최근 적층제조기술을 활용한 건축 상품 시공방법이 제안되고 있다. 적층제조기술은 건축 상품 시공과정을 자동화하여 작업자 안전을 확보한다. 또한, 비정형 형상의 구현효율성이 높아 건축물과 기반시설제조과정에 적용 가능성을 주목 받고 있다. 적층제조기술은 현대의 건설 산업에서 요구되는 컴퓨터 기반의 시공자동화, 자원관리, 시공기간예측 등을 만족할 수 있는 기술이다. 하지만, 아직 부족한 누적 데이터와 표준, 규제, 운영방법 등에 의해 산업 적용이 제한되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 건축 적층제조기술 적용가능성을 분석하기 위해 2개의 적층제조시스템으로 건축 상품을 제조한다. 또한 각 건축 상품은 적층생산결정모델을 통해 적합한 제조시스템으로 투입하는 방법이 적용되고, 실증 실험을 통해 제조과정의 문제를 확인한다. 결과적으로 건축 상품의 품질 향상을 위한 확장된 적층생산결정모델을 제안한다.

건축물 해체공사 전문인력을 위한 기본역량 분석 - 국내·외 사례를 중심으로 (Analysis of Basic Capabilities for Building Demolition Experts - Focused on Domestic and International Cases)

  • 최근 건축물 해체공사 중 많은 사고가 발생함에 따라 건축물 해체에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 국내와 국외의 사례를 통해 건축물 해체공사 전문인력에게 요구되는 기본역량을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국내의 건축물 해체공사감리교육과 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 구조물해체 직무의 능력단위에서 요구하는 능력을 조사하였고, 일본, 미국, 영국의 해체 공사 전문인력 자격시험 과목 및 관련 교육내용을 조사하였다. 연구결과, 해체공사 전문인력을 위한 요구역량을 법규, 구조, 안전, 계획, 운영, 시공, 환경의 7가지 분야로 분류하고, 기능직, 기술직, 관리직의 단계별로 분류할 필요성을 제안하였다.
