In a speech coding system using excitation source of voiced and unvoiced, it would be a distortion of speech waveform in case of exist a voiced and an unvoiced consonants in a frame. In this paper, I propose a new method of TSIUVC(Transition Segment Including Unvoiced Consonant) approximate-synthesis by using Least Mean Square. As a result, a method by using Least Mean Square was obtained a high quality approximation-synthesis waveform . The important thing is that the frequency signals in a maximum error signal can be made with low distortion approximation-synthesis waveform. This method has the capability of being applied to a new speech coding of Voiced/Silence/TSIUVC, speech analysis and synthesis.

This paper deals with the nodal admittance approach steady-state frequency domain analysis of the three-phase self-excited induction generator (SEIG) driven by the variable speed prime mover as the wind turbine. The steady-state performance analysis of this power conditioner designed for the renewable energy is based on the principle of equating the input mechanical power of the three-phase SEIG to the output mechanical power of the variable speed prime mover mentioned above. Us-ing the approximate frequency domain based equivalent circuit of the three-phase SEIG. The main features of the present algorithm of the steady-state performance analysis of the three-phase SEIG treated here are that the variable speed prime mover characteristics are included in the approximate equivalent circuit of the three-phase SEIG under the condition of the speed changes of the prime mover without complex computations processes. Furthermore, a feedback closed-loop voltage regulation of the three-phase SEIG as a power conditioner which is driven by variable speed prime movers such as the wind turbine(WT) employing the static VAR compensator(SVC) circuit composed of the thyristor phase controlled reactor(TCR) and the thyristor switched capacitor(TSC) controlled by the PI controller is designed and considered for wind-turbine driving power conditioner.

To contribute to the preventive measures against local vibrations of ship's deck panels, some investigations into the prediction method of the natural frequency of the vibration of stiffened plates were done. Firstly, an analytical method based on the orthotropic plate analogy and the Rayleigh method using eigenfunctions of the Euler beam was shown, and numerical results of a regularly stiffened plate were compared with experimental results. And then, the method was extended to stiffened plates having one or two irregular stiffeners to obtain an approximate formula showing the relation between the change of the natural frequency and the size of the irregular stiffeners. The latter case was investigated for the purpose of providing a convenient design manual applicable to cure of local resonant vibrations of ships' deck panels by additional reinforcement of one or two stiffeners. In the analytical development the boundary was assumed to be rigidly supported and elastically restrained against rotation. In the experiment, however, only an extreme case i.e. simply supported boundary was investigated. The results of the investigation show that there is a fairly good conformity between the analytical results and the experimental ones in the first case, and that the approximate formula for the second case is confirmed also to be reliable for the design purpose. Considering that actual boundary conditions of deck panels in ship structures lie mostly somewhere between the simple support and the fixed, the authors discussed problems of the joint efficiency at the boundary of deck panels from the viewpoint of the practical application of the formulae.
The purpose of numerical analysis is to design an effective algorithm to realize some mathematical model on computer. In general the approximate value, which is obtained from computer operation, is not the same as the real value that is given by mathematical theory. Therefore the mr estimate measuring how approximate value is near to the real value, is the most significant task to evaluate the efficiency of algorithm. The limit of an error is used for mr estimation at the most case, but the exact mr evaluation could not be expected to get for there is no way to know the real value of the given problem. Wegmann's method has been researched, which is one of the solution to derive the numerical conformal mapping. We proposed an improved method for convergency by applying a low frequency filter to the Wegmann's method. In this paper we investigate error analysis based on some mathematical theory and propose an effective method which makes us able to estimate an error if the real value is not acquired. This kind of proposed method is also proved by numerical experiment.
This paper proposes a new approximate analytical solution for highly nonlinear vibration of mechanical systems called Hamiltonian Approach (HA) that can be widely use for structural health monitoring systems. The complete procedure of the HA approach is studied, and the precise application of the presented approach is surveyed by two familiar nonlinear partial differential problems. The nonlinear frequency of the considered systems is obtained. The results of the HA are verified with the numerical solution using Runge-Kutta's [RK] algorithm. It is established the only one iteration of the HA leads us to the high accurateness of the solution.
We introduce the Energy-Based Blind Separating (EBS) algorithm for extremely fast separation of mixed speech signals without loss of quality, which is performed in two stages: iterative-form separation and closed-form separation. This algorithm significantly improves the separation speed simply due to incorporating only some specific frequency bins into computations. Simulation results show that, on average, the proposed algorithm is 43 times faster than the independent component analysis (ICA) for speech signals, while preserving the separation quality. Also, it outperforms the fast independent component analysis (FastICA), the joint approximate diagonalization of eigenmatrices (JADE), and the second-order blind identification (SOBI) algorithm in terms of separation quality.

Dynamic stability of a rotary oscillating cantilever beam is presented in this study. Using the stretch deformation instead of the conventional axial deformation, three linear partial differential equations are derived from Hamilton's principle and transformed into dimensionless forms. Stability diagrams of the first order approximate solutions are obtained by using the multiple scale perturbation method. The stability diagrams show that relatively large unstable regions exist near the combination of the first chordwise bending natural frequency and the first stretch natural frequency. This result is verified by using the generalized -$\alpha$ method.
A far field approximate solution of the slowly varying force on a 3 dimensional offshore structure in gravity ocean waves is presented. The first order potential, or at least the far field form of the Kochin function, of each frequency wave is assumed to be known. The momentum flux of the fluid domain is formulated to find the time variant force acting on the floating body in bichromatic waves. The second order difference frequency force is identified and extracted from the time variant force. The final solution is expressed as the circular integration of the product of Kochin functions. The limiting form of the slowly varying force is identical to the mean drift force. It shows that the slowly varying force components caused by the body disturbance potential can be evaluated at the far field.

A simplified modeling approach for occupied car seats was demonstrated to be feasible. The model, consisting of interconnected masses, springs and dampers, was initially broken down into subsystems and experiments conducted to determine approximate values for model parameters. A short study of the effect of changing model parameters on natural frequencies, mode shapes and resonance locations in frequency response functions was given, highlighting the influence of particular model parameters on features in the mannequin's vibration response. Good agreement between experimental and simulation frequency response estimates was obtained. Future work should include optimization of parameter estimates, the inclusion of viscoelastic and nonlinear elements in addition to the linear springs and dampers, and finally extensions to a 3D model.
