  • A plastic roller for opening and closing the safety door of the injection molding machine was molded. The dimensional change of the measurement position of the roller was studied when the cooling time was applied differently among the molding conditions, and when the temperature of the coolant applied for mold cooling was also applied differently. Cooling times of 300 seconds and 400 seconds, hot and low-temperature coolant were applied. When the low-temperature coolant was applied, the measuring point of the roller shrank by 0.03 mm. However, when the high-temperature coolant was applied, the measuring point shrank by 0.3 mm. It was found that the application of low-temperature coolant among coolants was more suitable for the reference dimension of the molded article compared to the application of high-temperature coolant. Among the cooling water applied for the molding of plastic rollers, when high-temperature coolant is applied, the shrinkage rate measured immediately after ejection was smaller than when low-temperature coolant is applied. However, it was found that post shrinkage, which occurs over time, occurs much larger when high-temperature coolant is applied.

  • A time fractional advection-dispersion equation is Obtained from the standard advection-dispersion equation by replacing the firstorder derivative in time by a fractional derivative in time of order ${\alpha}$(0 < ${\alpha}$ $\leq$ 1). Using variable transformation, Mellin and Laplace transforms, and properties of H-functions, we derive the complete solution of this time fractional advection-dispersion equation.

  • The effect of the hydraulic residence time (HRT) for the removal of aquarium waste, such as protein, total suspended solids (TSS) and turbidity were investigated by using a foam separator Protein, TSS and turbidity removal efficiencies were increased with the increase of hydraulic residence time. The optimum hydraulic residence time was 0.5 min, and the highest protein and TSS removal rates were $14.4\;g/L{\cdot}day\;and\;38.9\;g/L{\cdot}day,$ respectively. The tendency of turbidity removal rate and efficiency was similar to that of protein.

  • This paper considers overload control in telecommunication networks. Markov-modulated Bernoulli process ( MMBP ) has been extensively used to model bursty traffics with time-correlation. Thus, we investigate the transient behavior of the queueing system MMBP/D/l/K queue with two thresholds. The model is analyzed recursively by using the generating function method. We obtain the transient queue length distribution and waiting time distribution at an arbitrary time. The transient behavior of the queueing system helps observing the temporary system behavior.

  • In this paper, It is introduced new sound quality method, FI(Fluctuation Index) and the example applied Outdoors side Air-conditioner noise evaluation. Because FI is applied with very simple algebraic calculation algorithm, it can be applied some other application without spending high time and cost.

  • In this paper, the Automatic Tracking Window(ATW) algorithm is applied to the Generalized Cross-Correlation(GCC) time delay estimation algorithm as a preprocessing. The Linear Prediction(LP) algorithm, which is a pararmetric spectral estimation algorithm, is applied to the time delay estimation. And the ATW, a preprocessing algorithm is applied to this algorithm too. This paper shows that the ATW algorithm attenuates the sidelobes very much and improves the resolution of the timedelay estimation.

  • Time series prediction is an area of great interest to many people. Algorithms for time series prediction are widely used in many fields such as stock price, temperature, energy and weather forecast; in addtion, classical models as well as recurrent neural networks (RNNs) have been actively developed. After introducing the attention mechanism to neural network models, many new models with improved performance have been developed; in addition, models using attention twice have also recently been proposed, resulting in further performance improvements. In this paper, we consider time series prediction by introducing attention twice to an RNN model. The proposed model is a method that introduces H-attention and T-attention for output value and time step information to select useful information. We conduct experiments on stock price, temperature and energy data and confirm that the proposed model outperforms existing models.
