구글 플레이 스토어와 애플 앱 스토어 등 모바일 앱 스토어는 금융, 쇼핑, 엔터테인먼트 등 다양한 카테고리로 영역을 확장하고 있으며, 등록되어 있는 어플리케이션(이하 앱)만 수백만 개에 이른다. 하지만 휴대성과 편리성을 제공하는 모바일 앱의 보안 취약점으로 인해서 최근 모바일 앱을 통한 개인정보 및 데이터 유출이 급격히 증가되고 있는 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 국내 최대 규모의 사용자가 사용하는 상용 모바일 앱을 카테고리별로 분류하고, 사용자가 각 카테고리 별 모바일 앱을 사용하는 경우 유출될 수 있는 개인정보를 분석한다. 분석 결과 해당 앱들을 통해서 실시간으로 개인정보가 유출될 수 있음을 증명하고, 모바일 앱 사용자의 개인정보 유출방지와 안전한 사용을 위한 보안강화 방안을 제안한다.

This study examined the perception and use of web 2.0 applications for academic purposes by medical students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. The objective was to investigate the medical students' perceptions of web 2.0 applications, web 2.0 tools use, extent of use, perception and purpose for using web 2.0 applications. Descriptive survey method was used for this study. The total population of this study was 3670 and the sample size was 367 representing 10% of the study. The purposive sampling technique was adopted, and the instrument used for this study was questionnaire, a total of 367 copies were administered and 321 were found useful for the study. Percentage means and standard deviation on table and chart were used to analyze the data collected using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Findings showed that the perception of web 2.0 applications of medical students AAU was positive and few of web 2.0 applications were used for academic purposes. It was recommended in the study that medical students should be provided with the facilities in a format more familiar to them and used by most of them and institutions need to equip the learning process with the needed facilities which will be of utmost benefit even for future purposes.

In this article, we present a performance enhancement scheme for mobile applications by adopting persistent memory. The proposed scheme supports the deadline guarantee of real-time applications like a video player, and also provides reasonable performances for non-real-time applications. To do so, we analyze the program execution path of mobile software platforms and find two sources of unpredictable time delays that make the deadline-guarantee of real-time applications difficult. The first is the irregular activation of garbage collection in flash storage and the second is the blocking and time-slice based scheduling used in mobile platforms. We resolve these two issues by adopting high performance persistent memory as the storage of real-time applications. By maintaining real-time applications and their data in persistent memory, I/O latency can become predictable because persistent memory does not need garbage collection. Also, we present a new scheduler that exclusively allocates a processor core to a real-time application. Although processor cycles can be wasted while a real-time application performs I/O, we depict that the processor utilization is not degraded significantly due to the acceleration of I/O by adopting persistent memory. Simulation experiments show that the proposed scheme improves the deadline misses of real-time applications by 90% in comparison with the legacy I/O scheme used in mobile systems.

This is the world of computer science and innovations. In this modern era, every day new apps, webs and software are being introduced. As well as new apps and software are being introduced, similarly threats and vulnerable security matters are also increasing. Web apps are software that can be used by customers for numerous useful tasks, and because of the developer experience of good programming standards, web applications that can be used by an attacker also have multiple sides. Web applications Security is expected to protect the content of critical web and to ensure secure data transmission. Application safety must therefore be enforced across all infrastructure, including the web application itself, that supports the web applications. Many organizations currently have a type of web application protection scheme or attempt to build/develop, but the bulk of these schemes are incapable of generating value consistently and effectively, and therefore do not improve developers' attitude in building/designing stable Web applications. This article aims to analyze the attacks on the website and address security scanners of web applications to help us resolve web application security challenges.

We conducted this study to identify the accommodation applications users' lifestyle types and the composition factors for consumers' accommodation applications selection attributes and to identify the difference in the selection attributes perception of accommodation applications between groups classified by user's lifestyle types. According to the study, 6 factors were derived as the accommodation applications users' lifestyle types and were named social/leisure-oriented type, fashion-seeking type, culture-seeking type, self-examining type, self-centered type, family-oriented type. Also 6 factors were derived as the accommodation applications selection attributes and were named convenience, interactivity, economic efficiency, transaction reliability, product reliability and informativeness. Valid clusters were divided into four groups and were named culture/tourism group, self-examining group, passive and cautious group and Social and practicality-seeking group. Most of the selection attributes perception of accommodation applications between groups had statistically significant differences(p<.05), except for some items of transaction reliability. Based on the results of this study, we should strive to establish effective marketing strategies that reflect differences in the selection attributes perception of the accommodation application between groups classified by users' lifestyle types.

This paper presents performance analysis of the embedded application, called EEMBC consisting of 5 categories and total 34 applications. We measured various performance metrics, such as code sizes, TLP(Thread Level Parallelism) using OpenMP API and ILP(Instruction Level Parallelism) on ARM-modeled SimpleScalar in detail. We show that the embedded applications have the similar characteristics as integer applications to deliver low ILP and TLP in our environment. They have many small loops, which result in large instruction overhead in TLP and loop control overhead in ILP.

$Reflex^{TM}$ display technology based on bistable, reflective, and flexible Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Displays is being developed and mass produced for new and non-traditional applications. These applications allow for personalization of mobile devices, very low cost display systems, and more. This display technology, its status, and new applications are discussed in this paper.

Graphene has attracted much interest because of its fascinating electronic structure with excellent electron mobility. However, there are some difficulties in making graphene of large and uniform area for real applications. One alternative is graphite oxide. Since graphite oxide is water soluble, it can be sprayed or spin-coating onto any substrates for applications such as Transparent Conducting Film (TCF) and Field Effect Transistor (FET). In this talk, chemical and physical properties of graphite oxide will be discussed. In addition, possible applications made of graphite oxide (GO) will be introduced.
