도시재생을 위한 신재생에너지 적용에 관한 기초 연구 (A Basic Study on the Application Plan of Renewable Energy Systems for Urban)

  • Many countries are faced with problems of energy demand and environmentally. Renewable energy is the interesting solution to deal this problems. In Korea, it is planed to apply the renewable energy to 5% of total energy demand by 2011. For this, the government has supported by various promotion program of renewable energy Policy Consideration of renewable energy system is essential for sustainable urban regeneration. Renewable energy application will be possible to make friendly environmental and sustainable city and deal with the energy and environment problem. This study will provide fundamental data to applying renewable energy systems for urban generation. There are evaluated for economic feasibility of renewable energy systems and analyzed application of them by building type as a urban energy source.

  • 본 연구에서는 Bayesian 확률법을 이용한 성능기반형 배합설계방법(Perfomance Based Mixture Design, 이하 PBMD)을 고강도 콘크리트 배합설계에 활용하여 요구성능을 만족하는 고강도 콘크리트 배합비를 찾는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 고강도 콘크리트의 여러 가지 재료 성능 변수들을 구하기 위해 수행한 여러 가지 실험들의 결과를 바탕으로 고강도 콘크리트 배합설계 시 PBMD 방법의 적용가능성에 대해 검토하였으며 지역에 따른 환경조건, 사용 가능한 재료, 적용 가능한 콘크리트생산기술 등을 고려하여 목표성능을 만족시키는 최적의 콘크리트 배합비를 구하는 과정을 PBMD 방법을 적용한 예제를 통해 나타내었다.

Methodological validation of measuring Hanwoo hair cortisol concentration using bead beater and surgical scissors

  • Different methodologies in hair cortisol extraction may alter the final output. Thus finding the standard methodology according to a laboratory facilities is pivotal. This study was carried out to validate the feasibility of two methods of grinding hair for cortisol extraction in Korean native (Hanwoo) cattle. Hair from nine cattle including mature cows, heifers, and calves were assigned to one of the following methods for grinding hair; 1) using bead beater (BB) and 2) using surgical scissors (SS). Hair samples (> 1 g) were harvested from forehead of each individual twice (first and second measurement) to validate the results. To improve the accuracy of the obtained data, each sample was duplicated into two wells during enzyme immunoassay (EIA) analysis. Overall comparison of hair cortisol concentration (HCC) showed that the data within the range (out of the range) of standards provided by the EIA kit were 88.9% (11.1%) and 66.7% (33.3%) for BB compared with SS, respectively. In the first measurement, application of BB was tended to show higher (p = 0.056) amount of HCC compared with SS. In the second measurement application of BB showed higher (p = 0.0028) amount of HCC compared with SS. Among the cattle, calves showed higher HCC using BB compared with SS (p < 0.05). Application of BB in hair grinding methodology for Hanwoo cattle may improve cortisol extraction in comparison to application of SS method, with more consistency. Thus, it would be the preferable method to use.

병원 간 전원 상황에서 이동통신망을 이용한 음성화상정보통신 애플리케이션의 유용성에 관한 연구 (A feasibility study of audio-video communication application using mobile telecommunication in inter-hospital transfer situations)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of video communication with medical staff located at a remote location, through a communication application connected to a long term evolution (LTE) mobile communication network in a moving ambulance. Methods: In this study, we recruited patients who were transferred by mobile intensive care unit ambulance from one hospital to another. In the moving ambulance, the information of the patient was transferred to a physician using the application in real time. Recorded video files were evaluated by emergency physicians with experience in video direct medical control. Results: A total of 18 patients were evaluated, and the average score was 5.9 out of a possible 9. It was expected that applying the use of the technology to actual clinical sites would enable the sites to provide assistance. Conclusion: In this study, we confirmed the possibility of benefiting from the clinical field when using the video-audio communication application which is connected to the remote location in real time through the current LTE mobile communication network in the ambulance.

Quinclorac 함량감소(含量減少)를 위한 혼합처방(混合處方)의 가능성(可能性) 연구(硏究) (Tank-mix Feasibility Reducing the Application Rate of Quinclorac)

  • Quinclorac의 사용량(使用量) 감소(減少)는 물론 잔유량(殘留量) 저하(低下)를 위하여 기존(旣存)의 화본과(禾本科) 속간(屬間) 선택성(選擇|生)을 갖는 molinate 및 propanil과의 혼합처방(混合處方)의 가능성(可能性) 여부를 밝히고자 온실내(溫室內) pot시험(試驗)으로 수행되었으며 피 3-4엽기(葉期)에 quinclorac 0.038. 0.075, 0.150 및 0.300kg ai/ha에, molinate는 0.190, 0.380, 0.750 및 1.500kg ai/ha을, propanil은 0.263, 0.525, 1.050, 및 2.100kg ai/ha을 각각 혼용(混用) 조합(組合)하여 경엽처리(莖葉處理)한 후 생체중(生體重)의 방제가(防除價)에 의한 상호작용(相互作用)을 해석하였다. Quinclorac과 molinate 조합처리(組合處理)에서 각 단제(單劑)의 방제가(防除價)는 표준량(標準量)에서 각각 78.1%, 26.2%에 지나지 않았으며, 조합처리(組合處理)의 방제가(防除價)는 quinclorac 0.300kg과 molinate 0.750kg 이상이 되어야만 85% 이상 방제가(防除價)를 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서 quinclorac과 molinate 조합처리(組合處理)에서 최소한의 상가적(相加的) 효과(效果)를 기대할 수 있었다. Quinclorac과 molinate 조합처리(組合處理)에서 각 단제(單劑)의 방제가(防除價)는 표준량(標準量)에서 각각 98.1%, 61.7%로서 두 약제간(藥劑間) 대등(對等)한 정도의 방제력(防除力)을 보였으며 조합처리(組合處理)에 있어서도 Quinclorac 0.150kg만 처리하고 propanil의 모든 처리수준(處理水準)이 첨가(添加)됨으로써 85% 이상의 방제가(防除價)를 보였다. 따라서 quinclorac과 propanil의 조합(組合)에서 부분적(部分的)으로 협력적(協力的)인 상호작용(相互作用)이 있었다. 결국 quinclorac 사용량(使用量) 감소(減少)를 위한 조합중(組合中) quinclorac과 propanil의 조합(組合)이 quinclorac과 molinate의 조합(組合)보다 더 협력적(協力的)인 상호작용(相互作用)을 나타냈다.

  • This research starts from the questioning of current housing development situation on hilly sites in Korea. It aims to investigate various design techniques of terraced housing as an alternative housing type on sloped sites. Several generic solutions are proposed, as for site slope and stacking method, combination of dwelling units, access pattern, and sectional variation of unit space. By the comparative analysis of design proposals with the typical two-row vertical-access type, the efficiency of the proposed techniques are verified in terms of development density, provision of community space, habitability of dwelling units.

  • Recently, a variety of intelligent robots are developed for the personal purpose beyond the industrial application. These intelligent robots have ranges of sensors, actuators, and control algorithms to their application. In this paper we propose a reconfigurable robot controller, $SR^2$c (The SOPC-based Reconfigurable Robot Controller), based on SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip), that can be reconfigurable easily by software. The proposed robot controller contains not only a processing module but also robot-specific IP's. To show a feasibility of the proposed robot controller, a small entertainment robot, Wizard-4 is implemented with a single chip controller as proposed in this paper.

  • A transputer is a powerful micro-processor, which can communicate with other processors with its own communication links and can be utilized into a powerful parallel computer system with easy way and low price. However, its usage has been limited to a few people because of its own programming language and complicated user interfaces. This paper presents programming tools to use a transputer system easily. It includes transputer integrated environment which has many developing tools, and transputer manager which can monitor and manage the system and developed programs on it. We also implemented a graphichs application program in order to test the feasibility and funcitonalities of programmers easy access to the transputer networks and visualize the performance status of each processor so that they can write efficient parallel programming codes.

낙동강 하상토의 제방재료 활용방안 (The application levee material in the bed sediment of Nakdong River)

  • The destruction of river and damage caused by flood are suddenly increasing due to the abnormal climate. In the investigation result about the damage, approximate 52% of the destruction of embankment are caused by earth work. Moreover, to recover conveyance of relief channel, bed sediment is dredged about 198 millions $m^3$ with 'the project of bed dredging'. So, the concern for bed sediment is the more increasing, the requiring high quality material for banking and the way for application of bed sediment are also the more increasing. In this paper, properties of bed sediment were analyzed through sedimentary mechanism analysis. Moreover, possibility to build embankment with bed sediment in 6 points which is in catchment of the Nak-dong river was also analyzed. At 6 points, which were selected to survey easily, sediment discharge was analyzed with formula. Moreover, size and permeability were analyzed and the feasibility for material of embankment was proposed. If bed sediment wasn't proper, complementary measures were proposed.
