바람장 및 Fingerprint를 이용한 악취추적기법 활용가능성 평가 (Applicability Investigation for the Odor Source Tracking Approach using the Wind Field and the Fingerprinting)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the applicability of the odor source tracking using wind field and fingerprint as a solution tool. First of all, CALMET and HYSPLIT modeling system, and database of odor discharge companies were utilized to track odor from industrial complexes. Secondly, industrial odor fingerprint was made by listing on the 19 domestic industries, and compared with foreign data to assess the representative, and thus the similarity was 86.7%. On the modeling experiment, Sihwa industrial complex did not show any difference because the matching rates of day and night were 49.5% and 50.0%, respectively. However, the Banwol and Sihwa industrial complexes did show some differences due to odor facility density. Separately, in this study, odor samples were obtained from 10 odor discharging companies, located in the Sihwa and Banwol industrial complexes, They were compared with the results of odor tracking modeling. The matched companies were 4 of 10 by three cases of tracking, while the fingerprint and industry of odor monitoring networks and companies matched each other. Therefore, this study confirmed the approach applicability of source tracking system using the fingerprint.

  • New product concept evaluation is one of the most important activities among many possible evaluation activities involved in the whole new product process. This paper aims at exploring the applicability of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to this new product concept evaluation. To this aim, an AHP based concept evaluation model was formulated and explained using an illustrative example. A number of issues were also raised and discussed concerning the applicability of AHP to out problem. Finally, some further research areas were identified.

  • This thesis is results of numerical analyses about test results of discharge capacity apparatus using penetration method. Applicability of numerical approach with FEM technique, using Cam-clay model, was confirmed by analyzing the results of standard consolidation test before analyzing test results of discharge capacity apparatus using penetration method. Thus, input parameters for the model was convinced to be appropriate. For numerical analyses about test results of discharge capacity apparatus using penetration method, identical initial and loading conditions during tests were applied to simulate test results correctly. Effects of ground disturbance resulted from installment of vertical drains on the behaviors of consolidation were also simulated. Applicability of numerical approach was investigated by comparing test results with numerical ones. As results of them, both of consolidation settlement were found to be in good agreements so that its applicability was confirmed. As results of numerical estimation, degree of consolidation with the condition of considering smear zone was found to be delayed, compared with results without smear zone. On the other hands, parametric numerical analyses of changing parameters related to smear zone such as permeability and size of smear zone and permeability of vertical drain were also carried out.

제품개발을 고려한 캐드모델의 응용성 향상을 위한 모델링교육 (Modeling Education for Improving CAD Model Applicability for Product Development Process)

  • CAD를 이용한 제품의 설계는 전체적인 제품개발공정의 효율성에 있어 핵심적인 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서 설계자가 어떻게 제품을 모델링 하느냐에 따라 모델의 품질이 달라질 수 있으며 이는 이후에 진행되는 하위 공정의 효율성에 지대한 영향을 끼치게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모델의 품질을 향상할 수 있는 모델링 교육 시 강조하여야 할 3가지 개념을 제시하였다. 이러한 개념을 대학에서의 CAD교육에 적용함으로써, 작게는 모델의 변환과정에 소요되는 시간 및 노력을 현저히 감소시키고, 나아가 제품개발공정의 효율성향상과 동시에 궁극적으로, CAD와 CAM같은 서로 다른 도메인간의 통합에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

농촌 소유역에 대한 GWLF 모형의 적용성 검토 (The Application of the GWLF model for Rural Small Watershed)

  • This study reviews the applicability of the GWLF (Generalized Watershed Loading Function) model, which is based on a loading function that requires only a relatively small amount of data, in a small agricultural watershed. The hydrological data was collected from 1996 to 2004 for a study area based on the HP#6 upper stream reservoir small watershed area. This data was then used to calibrate and verify the model. A simulation based on the model yielded $R^2$ values of $0.47\sim0.89$. This is considered to have high applicability when compared to the simulation and the observed results, which yielded relatively high values of $R^2$ for SS (Suspended Solid), TN (Total Nitrogen), and TP (Total Phosphorus) of 0.58, 0.47 and 0.62, respectively. This study provides a useful approach fur researchers selecting appropriate models to use the insufficient measuring data for rural watersheds.

農業用 貯水池 水門 操作 模型 開發 (Development of a gate Operation Model for Agricultural reservoirs)

  • A model using a linear programming technique was developed to operate gates for the optimum management of small of medium size agricultural reservoirs. To predict the inflow into the reservoirs the WASHMO model, which was a single event hydrology model, was modified and used. To test the applicability, the developed model was applied to two reservoirs located in Kyungpook province. The results showed that the model could be used for the optimum gate operation of the agricultural reservoirs.

  • A linear form of reduced-order distillation model is proposed, which contains the physical properties of distillation process and can be used in real time applications. The proposed model is linear in terms of liquid mole fraction and contains some tuning parameters. To verify the applicability of the proposed model, the model identification using nonlinear filtering techniques was applied. As a result, it was found that this model represented the simulated distillation process very closely as the parameters were converged.

RNG $k-\varepsilon$ 모델의 적용성에 대한 연구 (A Study of Applicability of a RNG $k-\varepsilon$ Model)

  • In this study, the applicability of the RNG k-.epsilon. model to the analysis of the complex flows is studied. The governing equations based on a non-orthogonal coordinate formulation with Cartesian velocity components are used and discretized by the finite volume method with non-staggered variable arrangements. The predicted results using the RNG k-.epsilon. model of three complex flows, i.e., the flow over a backward-facing step and a blunt flat plate, the flow around a 2D model car are compared to these from the standard k-.epsilon. model and experimental data. That of the unsteady axisymmetric turbulent flow within a cylinder of reciprocating model engine including port/valve assembly and the spray characteristics within a chamber of direct injection model engine are compared to these from the standard k-.epsilon. model and experimental data. The results of reattachment length, separated eddy size, average surface pressure distribution using the RNG k-.epsilon. model show more reasonable trends comparing with the experimental data than those using the modified k-.epsilon. model. Although the predicted rms velocity using the modified k-.epsilon. model is lower considerably than the experimental data in incylinder flow with poppet valve, predicted axial and radial velocity distributions at the valve exit and in-cylinder region show good agreements with the experimental data. The spray tip penetration predicted using the RNG k-.epsilon. model is more close to the experimental data than that using the modified k-.epsilon. model. The application of the RNG k-.epsilon. model seems to have some potential for the simulations of the unsteady turbulent flow within a port/valve-cylinder assembly and the spray characteristics over the modified k-.epsilon. model.

다양한 유기화합물의 비등점 예측을 위한 QSPR 모델 및 이의 적용구역 (QSPR model for the boiling point of diverse organic compounds with applicability domain)

  • 비등점은 유기물의 물리화학적 성질을 특정하는데 있어 매우 근본적 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나 기존의 정량적 구조-물성 상관관계식들은 고에너지 물질 등과 같은 특정 물질 군에 대한 실험값들의 부족 등으로 인해 제한적인 응용성을 가지고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 출처로부터의 5,923개의 비등점 자료를 확보하였으며, 이에는 일반적 유기화합물과 더불어 특수목적을 가지는 분자들을 포함하였고, 이들 수집된 데이터 셋을 이용하여 새로운 비등점 예측모델을 개발하는데 사용하였다. 다양한 학습 방법을 이용하여 새로이 수집된 데이터 셋을 이용한 2차원 분자 표현자에 기반한 비등점 모델을 도출하였다. 개발된 예측모델의 적정성과 견고성을 확인하였고, 훈련 셋의 표현자에 기반한 비등점 예측모델의 적용구역을 도출하였다.

고객생애가치 측정모형의 B2B 비즈니스 적용연구 (B2B Applications of Customer Equity Measurement Model)

  • This research applies Blattberg's CE (customer equity) model to B2B business context. Through the model we estimate customer lifetime value of a Korean semiconductor manufacturer. The results show that Blattberg model has limiting applicability to B2B business context. To overcome the limits, several suggestions were made. The main suggestion was predicting maintenance costs for different customers groups and including decision variables regarding marketing costs that would help building a differentiated CE model for the B2B business context.
