Study on the Pose Control of a 6 DOF Simulator with Pneumatic Cylinder Driving Apparatus (공기압실린더 구동장치를 이용한 6자유도 시뮬레이터의 자세제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, 6-DOF simulator using pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus was manufactured because a pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus is superior to electric driving motor and hydraulic actuator, which used in traditional 6-DOF simulator, in competitive price and acceleration performance, and, 6-DOF motion can be realized at a low price in case that relatively low load is imposed on the simulator. The possible range of pose control of the simulator was investigated by inverse kinematics, and, it was controlled by a linear controller derived from linear model of the simulator. The Experimental results show that the simulator follows given coordinate well.

  • Resilient mounting is effective measures to reduce the structure-borne noise and radiated noise for many applications. The acoustic stiffness (frequency-dependent stiffness) of resilient mounts is an important parameter required in order to model vibration isolation with high accuracy. It is general to use measurement method for obtaining acoustic stiffness of complex resilient mounts under static preload. In this paper, the principles of measuring acoustic stiffness were described and the developed test apparatus was introduced. Also, the feasibility of the test apparatus is illustrated by measurement results of a resilient mount.

  • Low Energy Electron Diffraction (LEED) apparatus was made to confirm the surface structure and to determine the direction of the structure for the Angle Resolved Ultraviolet Photoemission Spectroscopy(ARUPS) study. To determine the parameters needed for the design of the apparatus, computer simulation was used. Our LEED has 3 grids. The distance between sample and sccreen is 75 mm, and the viewing angle is $80^{\circ}$. The LEED apparatus was tested by investigating the Si(001) and $Al_2O_3$(0001) surface.

Micro-Bubble Generating Properties on Gas/Liquid Flow Rate Ratio with the Sludge Flotation/Thickening Apparatus (슬러지 부상농축장치의 기·액 유량비에 따른 미세기포 발생 특성)

  • The sludge flotation/thickening apparatus equipped a micro-bubble generating pump was used to investigate micro-bubble generating properties on operational parameters. We evaluated micro-bubble generating properties as results to be operated the apparatus by operational parameters which are pump discharge pressure, air/water ratio(A/W ratio), air flow rate, and water flow rate. Micro-bubble generating efficiencies in pumps without recycling flow and with 50% of recycling flow was found to be very efficient on optimum A/W ratio from 1.06 to 3.62% and optimum A/W ratio from 1.05 to 4.06%, respectively. In condition of 3.6% of A/W ratio, we showed that the apparatus could be generated 36,000 ppm of micro-bubble concentration to be optimum treatment efficiency in sludge thickening process.

  • In this study, the experimental open-tube and close-tube thermoacoustic apparatuses were built. In order to determine the optimum length of resonant tube and the optimum length of stack, the resonant characteristics of thermoacoustic apparatuses were investigated, The length of resonant tube varies from 400mm to 850mm. The experimental frequency varies from 100Hz to 1000Hz. In case of the second and third harmonics, the maximum temperature difference of open-tube thermoacoustic apparatus is 53$^{\circ}C$ (resonator length: 400mm) and the maximum temperature difference of closed-tube thermoacoustic apparatus is 51$^{\circ}C$ (resonator length: 500mm). In the open-tube thermoacoustic apparatus, the peak efficiency point is about 2%, 55%, 69% in the resonant tube and in the closed-tube thermoacoustic apparatus, the peak efficiency point is about 2%, 41%, 50% in the resonant tube.

  • The accurate position control of pneumatic driving apparatus is considered in this paper. In pneumatically actuated positioning systems, accurate positioning as an electrical servo has been known to be difficult because of the friction force and compressibility of the air. For good control performance of the pneumatic system, an actuator mounted with externally pressurized air bearings is produced to compensate for friction force. For the controller design, the governing equation of the pneumatic driving apparatus is derived. In order to reduce the nonlinear characteristics of the control valve, linearized control input is derived from the relation between the effective area of the valve and the control input. The experimental results are presented to show the results of the improved position control of the pneumatic driving apparatus.

  • The purpose of this study is to manifest the clothing-related dreams and to classify those in terms of the theme. The analysis of dreams which is inherent to Korean nationality can determine which dream is good or bad to men. The factors which influence the empirical way of interpreting dreams are following : the wearing of hat, the appearance, the color, length, and material of costume, the wearing of belt, the wearing of shoes, the wearing of socks, the acquiring of accessories, the cosmetic apparatus and sewing apparatus, the washing of costumes. They are predictive and traditional in Korean nationality.
