Construction duration is very important as a factor which comprises three axises of construction management with quality and cost in construction project. In general project condition, construction duration is optimized while minimizing construction cost and securing required quality. However, in case of insufficient project time duration or delayed projects, project progress management is different from those of normal projects. These project areas need solutions to complete work within a given completion day. To time shortening the current duration of each typical floor of structural framework in apartment construction is investigated, and a basic time schedule planning for typical floor of structural framework in normal projects is planned. This study proposed 3 ways for time shortening of urgent project or insufficient construction duration project. Also, This study proposed detailed time shortening method and technical solution conditions while time is shortened.
The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the necessity of conserving and maintaining eco-parks by estimating their economic value. Wonheung-ee Park in Sannam 3 District of Cheongju City was chosen as the subject and a quantitative estimation was conducted. The quantitative analysis utilized the hedonic price model that estimates the value of non-market goods. The summarized results of this study are follows. The subject park influenced the prices of its neighboring apartments. The most important factor was the distance between the park and the subject apartment. When the distance was longer than 400m, the impact was greatest. The quantitative assessment also showed that apartment prices and the distance between an apartment and the park had a negative relationship. When the distance increased by 1%, apartment prices decreased by 0.430%. This means that within a certain distance, the closer an apartment is to the park, the higher is the price. Demonstrating the economic value of eco-parks, this study also supports the importance of preserving eco-areas. It generally shows that when we develop a city, we should refrain destroying the ecosystem.
Most CPTED have currently applied to newly developing apartment complexes. but developed apartment complexes are relatively vulnerable to crime due to lack of CPTED considerations. This study has examined both crime prevention preferences space and facilities considering the cost of CPTED. This study suggests plans of the CPTED application to the developed apartment complex without changing existing physical environment. The entrance of apartment complexes, underground parking lots, parks and rest areas, elevators, stairs and aisle in side of the buildings should be given top priority. The next are pedestrians roads, fences, main entrance on the first floor. Lastly, shopping store facilities and the ground parking lots are among the last ones.
The environment has played a key role to improve the living condition and develop the industry. In building industries, we should consider the environment and mitigate the environmental affect. For mitigating the its affect, various areas of building technology have been developed and applied into filed work. In addition, the process in applying into field requires to conduct the assessment of the environmental affect and improve its applied technology. A lot of assessment methods are proposed in evaluate the building condition such as post-occupancy evaluation, life cycle management and life cycle assessment. Among these assessment methods, life cycle assessment is effectively utilized the environmental affect in building life cycle. Therefore, this paper aimed at analyzing the energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission in building life cycle, using the life cycle assessment and application of the example in apartment housing. This study shows that the maintenance and the production of building materials stage shares most of the amount of energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission and therefore plays an important role to planning the building in terms of the life cycle. Second, the other stages brings about a very small amount. It is important to decide the building shape and contents to mitigate the environmental affect in terms of material, volume, the pattern of the energy use and others.

High-rise and high-density apartment complexes has been built and supplied on a large scale in the metropolis and metropolitan areas since 1980s in order to solve housing shortage in cities. Recently they are raising deterioration problems for aging more than 20 years. moreover, those problems show very special characters such as simultaneity and a large scale. The purpose of this study is to propose a direction for the development of the evaluating indicators to measure the level of deterioration of apartments. The level of deterioration of apartments can be evaluated by housing performance. In order to evaluate the deterioration comprehensively, the housing performance indicators should be developed on the social, economical, and physical dimension. This study analyzed the concept of the apartment deterioration and compared housing performance indicators through literature review. First of all, when considering various factors in the evaluation of the deteriorated apartments, such as evaluating ranges, attributes and dimensions, housing performance indicators should be structured with the hierarchical framework. Second, housing performance indicators evaluating the level of deterioration of apartments should include social, psychological, and cultural aspects of home environments in order to understand adequately the attitude of the middle class toward services that apartments provide. Third, in previous researches, most criteria have been developed and weighted based on only expert opinions regarding performance indicators. So, It is necessary to include residents' opinions in developing performance indicators since they can provide more practical and feasible aspects the experts could not experience or understand.

Korea's housing polices, which have tended to be focused on quantity rather than quality, have since the 1970s given rise to a housing culture centered on apartment units. Such housing polices have resulted in urban sprawl in the metropolitan areas, and a growing polarization between urban and rural areas. In addition, the issue of "dehumanization" has emerged as a result of the interchangeable urban landscapes and the growing number of high-rise residential buildings. In short, the residential communities of the past, such as towns and villages, have disappeared and been replaced with societies that value individuality and anonymity. The purpose of this paper is to analyze urban structure Gyeongju traditional housing complex. This is to analyze the traditional Hanok residential complex of superiority and characteristics of Gyeongju. This enables future planning should be introduced in Gyeongju hanok.

The results of analysis are as follows: First, most cases had 4LDK and 2bathroom with a dress-room. Second, characteristics of the interior design showed that the variety finish materials used in the units. For wall finish materials, wallpapers were used in mostly regardless in different areas. For floor finish materials, stone and tile were used in similar ratio in the entrance area whereas wood floor mostly was used in living room and kitchen areas. This study shows some significant characteristics of today's apartment even it has some limitations because of small amount of survey cases. More detailed and deeper study will be done continuously.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the remodeling of apartments housing unit according to the area type and size in order to provide useful information for future plans for more consumer-friendly dwelling units. To achieve this goal quantitative data analyses were employed. The sample was a total of 100 apartments analysed in previous researches conducting case studies on apartments remodeling. The data were analyzed by SPSS WIN program package in terms of frequency, percentage, and x2-test. The results of the study are as follows: The change of finishing materials were made in almost all of the sample. 6.4, 8.6 and 10.6 categories were altered in the small, medium, and large apartments respectively out of 21 remodeling categories. The environment is the important resource to use as well as to conserve for the development. Since 1990s, it has accentuated the importance of the environment and tried to conserve the environment in many areas. Among many area, the building industry has played a role to destruct the environment for providing the living decent space and brought the environmental affect. Therefore, the building industry should endeavor to mitigate the environmental affect. In building life cycle, it consumes the energy and natural resources. But it is difficult to evaluate the environmental affect during the whole building life. It is impossible to calculate the environmental affect without the much time and effort. Therefore. it requires the easy and handing program to calculate the affect to environment in each building life cycle. Until now, many program for assessing the affect to the environment have been developed and limitedly used because of the assessment scope and contents. In this paper, it aimed at developing the assessment program of LCA, focused on the energy consumption and carbon-dioxide emission compared with the domestic and foreign concerned programs. The developed program is divided into 3 areas; construction, maintenance, demolition.
