A BM25 based Passage Retrieval System for Developing an Efficient Question and Answering System (효율적인 질의응답시스템 개발을 위한 BM25기반의 단락 검색 시스템)

  • This paper proposes a passage retrieval system based on Okapi's BM25 for developing an efficient QA system and evaluates performances of the passage retrieval system. The test collection of TREC Q&A track which is composed of about one million documents was indexed and a hundred queries of TREC Q&A track are used as testing queries. The experimental results shows that the proposed passage retrieval system can reach to 100% recall rate by searching in only 1700 sentences while the conventional document retrieval system have to search about 120 thousands sentences which are about 70 times more than the proposed passage retrieval system.

The Perception Level of Seafarers for the Marine Telemedicine Assistance System (선박승무원들의 해양원격의료 지원 제도에 대한 인식도)

  • This research intended to analyse the perception level of seafarers in order to propose enhancement of health management for seafarers and improvement of marine telemedicine assistance system. To this end, questionnaire survey was conducted for 422 seafarers in relation to current status of utilizing Emergency Medical Advice by radio(EMAR). By trading area, experience of benefiting EMAR by coastal seafarers was higher than that of ocean-going seafarers. By kinds of ships the rate of utilizing EMAR by fisherman was higher than that of seafarers of merchant ships. The level of satisfaction on the EMAR was 14.9% and regarded to be very low while the answering rate of necessity and urgency toward introducing marine telemedicine assistance system for the future through utilizing telemedicine equipment what is called U-helath including motion pictures information was very high. The answering rate of willingness to provide their personal health information positively when introducing marine telemedicine system was very high(97.4%). It is thus necessary to permit marine telemedicine service system, establish service model of marine telemedicine through conducting demonstration projects, promote marine telemedicine actively at the level of government, etc.

  • It is well known that Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Disease is one of the oldest and most authoritative books in Oriental Medicine, suggesting the concept of Exogenous Febrile and Six channels as a theoretical basis of clinical experience and prescription. But, since Thang Thongjing had written the book, the numberous medical practitioners and theorists asserted their various and different views on the concept of Exogenous Febrile and its Six channels. 3UM-3YANG of Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Disease is basically the thing of specialization UM-YANG, eventually UM-YANG are two functional characteristics in human body. It is specialized to 3UM-3YANG by spatial and time criteria Therefore, it is important to apprehend the concept correctly that was written on Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Disease. I'd like to look into a bodily state by answering the question that is easy to access and based on Six Channels.

  • 오늘날 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence, AI) 분야에서 가장 구현하기 어려운 분야 중 하나는 추론이다. 근래 추론 분야에서 영상과 언어가 결합한 다중 모드(Multi-modal) 환경에서 영상 기반의 질의 응답(Visual Question Answering, VQA) 과업에 대한 AI 모델이 발표됐다. 얼마 지나지 않아 VQA 모델의 성능을 개선한 GVQA(Grounded Visual Question Answering) 모델도 발표됐다. 하지만 아직 GVQA 모델도 완벽한 성능을 내진 못한다. 본 논문에서는 GVQA 모델의 성능 개선을 위해 VCC(Visual Concept Classifier) 모델을 ViT-G(Vision Transformer-Giant)/14로 변경하고, ACP(Answer Cluster Predictor) 모델을 GPT(Generative Pretrained Transformer)-3으로 변경한다. 이와 같은 방법들은 성능을 개선하는 데 큰 도움이 될 수 있다고 사료된다.

A 3D Audio-Visual Animated Agent for Expressive Conversational Question Answering

  • This paper reports on the ACQA(Animated agent for Conversational Question Answering) project conducted at LIMSI. The aim is to design an expressive animated conversational agent(ACA) for conducting research along two main lines: 1/ perceptual experiments(eg perception of expressivity and 3D movements in both audio and visual channels): 2/ design of human-computer interfaces requiring head models at different resolutions and the integration of the talking head in virtual scenes. The target application of this expressive ACA is a real-time question and answer speech based system developed at LIMSI(RITEL). The architecture of the system is based on distributed modules exchanging messages through a network protocol. The main components of the system are: RITEL a question and answer system searching raw text, which is able to produce a text(the answer) and attitudinal information; this attitudinal information is then processed for delivering expressive tags; the text is converted into phoneme, viseme, and prosodic descriptions. Audio speech is generated by the LIMSI selection-concatenation text-to-speech engine. Visual speech is using MPEG4 keypoint-based animation, and is rendered in real-time by Virtual Choreographer (VirChor), a GPU-based 3D engine. Finally, visual and audio speech is played in a 3D audio and visual scene. The project also puts a lot of effort for realistic visual and audio 3D rendering. A new model of phoneme-dependant human radiation patterns is included in the speech synthesis system, so that the ACA can move in the virtual scene with realistic 3D visual and audio rendering.

  • 최근 온라인 학습의 비중이 증가함에 따라 온라인 학습 서비스의 일부인 온라인 상담 부분도 비례하여 증가하고 있으며, 많은 상담량으로 인해 상담 서비스의 품질이 저하되고 답변의 속도, 효율성도 감소하는 문제가 발생한다. 국내 교육기관에서는 서비스 개선과 사용자 맞춤형서비스를 제공하기 위해 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있으며 민원을 처리하는 챗봇 등 자동 답변 서비스 도입을 추진하고 있다. 챗봇 및 자동 답변 서비스는 서비스 제공자 입장에서 저예산으로 단순한 질문에 대하여 신속하고 효율적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며 서비스 이용자는 즉각적인 답변과 유사한 답변 예시를 확인함으로 질문을 빠르게 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 국가 공공기관에서 제공하는 학습 서비스는 단순하고 반복적인 문의가 많고 정형적인 질의응답이 주로 등록이 되고 있다. 자동 답변 서비스는 이런 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 대안이 된다. 서비스 이용자가 등록한 문의를 기반으로 학습한 답변 서비스는 담당자의 반복된 업무처리 경감과 사용자의 답변감소, 일관된 답변처리로 서비스 품질개선에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 질문에 효율적인 답변 및 민원 처리 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방법을 제시하며, 관리자의 업무능력 향상과 효율성을 위해 기간별 키워드 빈도수를 계산하여 Word cloud를 생성하여 제공함으로써 사용자들에게 일정 기간 내 빈도수가 높은 키워드 관련 공지 및 안내를 할 수 있도록 한다.

Development of a Tourism Information QA Service for the Task-oriented Chatbot Service

  • The smart tourism chatbot service provide smart tourism services to users easily and conveniently along with the smart tourism app. In this paper, the tourism information QA (Question Answering) service is proposed based on the task-oriented smart tourism chatbot system [13]. The tourism information QA service is an MRC (Machine reading comprehension)-based QA system that finds answers in context and provides them to users. The tourism information QA system consists of NER (Named Entity Recognition), DST (Dialogue State Tracking), Neo4J graph DB, and QA servers. We propose tourism information QA service uses the tourism information NER model and DST model to identify the intent of the user's question and retrieves appropriate context for the answer from the Neo4J tourism knowledgebase. The QA model finds answers from the context and provides them to users through the smart tourism app. We develop the tourism information QA model by transfer learning the bigBird model, which can process the context of 4,096 tokens, using the tourism information QA dataset.

  • "DongYangEuiYak" is a magazine that was published three times to reconstruct Korean medicine. Publishing the magazine was leaded by excutives of the East and West Medicine Research Society, especially Kim younghun and Cho hunyoung. The magazine contains reconstruction of Korean medicine, medical history, pulse, herb, Sasang medicine and etc, in depth. Editorial department of "DongYangEuiYak" tried to boom Korean medicine and reeducate the people working in Korean medicine field by answering reader's questions and medical counselling articles and articles in correspondence course form. Studing courses and founding herb town after the publishment of "DongYangEuiYak", reflects well the culminated atmosphere of Korean medicine.

  • 질의 응답 시스템의 성능을 높이기 위해서는 정답 후보(Answer Candidate)를 랭킹하는 방법이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 정답 후보 랭킹을 위해 사용하던 위치 근접성의 문제점을 제시하고, 이를 보완하기 위한 구문 근접성을 이용하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 실험 결과는 논문에서 제안한 구문 근접성을 사용한 정답 후보 랭킹 방법이 위치 근접성을 이용만 방법보다 더 개선된 방법임을 보여준다
