패션 일러스트레이션에 나타난 실루엣 표현 연구 (A Study of the Expressions of the Silhouette in the Fashion Illustrations)

  • This study analyzed silhouette expressions in the fashion illustrations by theory based on results of studying the characteristics of the forms and meanings of the silhouette expressions in art historically. For the actual considering this study collected and categorized fashion illustrations from 1990 to the present limitedly, and clarified the meaning of the silhouette expressions. Those expressions in fashion illustrations were categorized to the 5 items; black & white silhouette, color silhoutte, pattern silhouette, paper silhouette, line silhouette. Silhouette expressions of the fashion illustrations were categorized to 3 items: metaphorical fantasy, essential minimization, anonymous representation.

  • 본 논문은 클라이언트의 익명성과 개인 정보를 보장하는 토르 네트워크에서 앙상블 학습을 이용한 웹사이트 핑거프린팅 방법을 제안한다. 토르네트워크에서 수집된 트래픽 패킷들로부터 웹사이트 핑거프린팅을 위한 훈련 문제를 구성하며, 트리 기반 앙상블 모델을 적용한 웹사이트 핑거프린팅 시스템의 성능을 비교한다. 훈련 특징 벡터는 트래픽 시퀀스에서 추출된 범용 정보, 버스트, 셀 시퀀스 길이, 그리고 셀 순서로부터 준비하며, 각 웹사이트의 특징은 고정 길이로 표현된다. 실험 평가를 위해 웹사이트 핑거프린팅의 사용에 따른 4가지 학습 문제(Wang14, BW, CWT, CWH)를 정의하고, CUMUL 특징 벡터를 사용한 지지 벡터 기계 모델과 성능을 비교한다. 실험 평가에서, BW 경우를 제외하고 제안하는 통계 기반 훈련 특징 표현이 CUMUL 특징 표현보다 우수하다.

프라이 오토의 '자연적 구조'의 건축적 이념에 관한 연구 (A Study on the architectural Idea of 'the natural Construction' of Frei Otto)

  • Frei Otto, who is called to be the father of the ecological architecture, has shaped a peculiar architectural form style. In distance from the formalistic persistence to the modernist form canon and the postmodern tendencies to the self-representation of architects, Frei Otto has taken a more fundamentalistic position. Through the interdisciplinary researches on the self-organizing processes in the nature and the technical world Frei Otto could reason with architects, engineers, biologists, historians and philosophers the principle and structure of the natural construction that is applicable to the morphological research and the architectural construction research. In the middle of his architectural and scientific works is the idea of 'the natural construction' situated, and the basic principle and instrument of this 'Die Prinzip der Selbstbildung, The Principle of Self-making'. Founding himself on this principle, Frei Otto seeks after the new architectural form that is light, natural, flexible and variable by reasoning the typical formation process which refers to the common denominator of the self-making processes in the nature, the technique and the architecture. Despite his architecture is to be called to the anonymous, his architectural vision is headed toward the rationalistic form in accord with the natural laws. This study is purposed to elucidate the constellation to which his scientific attempts belong and the theoretical and methodological foundations of his architecture of 'the natural construction'.

  • The shape of floral Pattern in the Period of Baroque could be divided single. bunch and vine. The style of representation was stylized, abstract and realistic. the most of style was stylized. The type of composition was fullness, independent and scattered. Floral patterns were shaped simple and complex and components of design could be classified into flower and leaf. flower and fruit. flower and band. bunch of flower, flower and geometry. flower and pot, flower and animal. flower and crest. Kinds of flower were tulip. common marigold, lily, carnation, small bel]flower. lotus, acandus leaf, pomegranate, strawberry. pine cone and abstract anonymous flower which were unfolded by repeat. Characters of floral Pattern were classical elegance, taste of royalty and lively and damask, velvet, brocade which made with gold and silver so, those were a very brilliant and gorgeous. Characters of design were illustrated plane style and stylization where developed arranged on front by repeat or repeat symmetric of vertical. Art, costumes and textiles in this era were a very rich and colorful. The result of study on Baroque's floral pattern will be used to develope a various textile design and chance to be adopted classical pattern into aesthetic value in our time.

Building Light Weight CORBA Based Middleware for the CAN Bus Systems

  • The software components of embedded control systems get extremely complex as they are designed into distributed systems get extremely complex as they are designed into distributed systems consisting of a large number of inexpensive microcontrollers interconnected by low-bandwidth real-time networks such as the controller area network (CAN). While recently emerging middleware technologies such as CORBA and DCOM address the complexity of distributed programming, they cannot be directly applied to distributed control system design due to their excessive resource demand and inadequate communication models. In this paper, we propose a CORBA-based middleware design for CAN-based distributed embedded control systems. Our design goal is to minimize its resource need and make it support group communication without losing the IDL (interface definition language) level compliance to the OMG standards. To achieve this, we develop a transport protocol on the CAN and a group communication scheme based on the well-known publisher/subscriber model. The protocol effectively realizes subject-based addressing and supports anonymous publisher/subscriber communication. We also customize the method invocation and message passing protocol, referred to as the general inter-ORB protocol (GIOP), of CORBA so that CORBA method invocations are efficiently serviced on a low-bandwidth network such as the CAN. This customization includes packed data encoding and variable-length integer encoding for compact representation of IDL data types. We have implemented our CORBA-based middleware on the mArx real-time operating system we have developed at Seoul National University. Our experiments clearly demonstrate that it is feasible to use CORBA in developing distributed embedded control systems possessing severe resource limitations. Our design clearly demonstrates that it is feasible to use a CORBA-based middleware in developing distributed embedded systems on real-time networks possessing severe resource limitations.

요나스 오델(Jonas Odell)의 작품 세계에 나타난 디지털 로토스코핑 이미지의 특성 (A Study on the Aesthetic Characteristics of the Digital Rotoscoping Images in Jonas Odell's Animations)

  • 로토스코핑 기법은 20세기 초부터 실제 인물의 움직임과 같은 자연스럽고 매끈한 움직임 구사를 위해 오랫동안 활용되어 왔음에도, 이미 촬영된 이미지를 단순히 모방한다는 이유로 예술적 가치가 평가절하 되며 일종의 편법이나 속임수 등으로 여겨져 왔다. 하지만 무한 융합이 가능해진 디지털 시대 속에서 실사와 애니메이션의 경계를 자유롭게 넘나들 수 있는 로토스코핑 기법의 활용은 오히려 리얼리티의 확장적 재현이라는 새로운 미학적 가능성을 제시하고 끊임없이 새로운 애니메이션적 체험의 층위들을 만들어내고 있다. 또한 이러한 로토스코핑의 다양한 융합적 특성들을 적극 활용하고 실험하고 있는 요나스 오델의 작품들은 로토스코핑 이미지가 스타일적인 측면 외에도, 내러티브를 강화하는 수단으로 역할 할 수 있음을 증명할 수 있는 대표적 사례이다. 본 연구는 요나스 오델 감독의 독특한 철학적, 미학적 스타일을 완성시킨 다큐멘터리 형식의 3가지 옴니버스 단편들 -<투실라고 Tussilago>(2010), <거짓말 Lies>(2008), <첫경험 Never like the first time!>(2006) -을 분석하고, 실존 인물의 인터뷰 형식으로 진행되는 내러티브와 실사 이미지와의 구조와 관계 속에서 로토스코핑 이미지들이 어떠한 독특한 역할로 의미 작용을 하는지를 살펴본다. 이는 세 가지 특성- 청각적 감성을 매개하는 내적 리얼리티의 형이상학적 기록으로서의 이미지, 특정 인물에 대한 존재적 표상으로서 익명화된 이미지, 물리적 시공간을 담아내는 기억의 표상으로서 신체 이미지-을 기준으로 분류되고 분석된다. 이를 통해 21세기 디지털 시대에 로토스코핑 이미지는 비단 자연스러운 움직임의 재현과 독특한 스타일을 위한 것을 넘어, 어떠한 새로운 가치들을 획득하게 되는지를 밝힐 것이다. 본 연구가 예술적인 면에서 평가절하 되어왔던 로토스코핑 이미지의 가치를 재발견, 재위치 시킬 수 있는 밑거름으로서 역할하고, 뿐만 아니라 미국, 일본, 혹은 특정 유럽국에 치우친 애니메이션 작가와 스타일 연구의 환경 속에서 세계적으로 주목받고 있는 스웨덴 작가와 그의 독특한 스타일을 새롭게 소개할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

Ukrainian Students' Analysis of Abuse Treatment by Parents: Retrospective and Perspective in Virtual and Real Environments

  • Given the prevalence of violence in Ukrainian families, measures to prevent parental abusive treatment against children are urgent. It is important to study today's youth awareness about violence within families in order to enhance a culture of engagement with spouses and children in future. The aim of the study is to examine students' reflective experiences and their attitudes towards forms, frequency, causes and effects of parental abusive treatment. During the research the following methods were used step-by-step: theoretical analyses of scientific resources, anonymous questionnaire, quantitative and correlation analyses. According to result of survey 98 students who were interviewed, none of them fell victim of sexual abuse in their families. However, more than a half (51%) of the students surveyed experienced some forms of parental physical punishment. All the interviewed students encountered psychological cases of parental violence. The mostprevalent forms of parental abuse among the interviewees are criticism, negative comparison, emotional detachment, arrogance, intimidation, blackmail and humiliation. The most prevalent consequences of parental abuse among students are anxiety, low self-esteem, insecurity, impatience, suspiciousness, constraint in communication. Students agree that budget limitations, forced labor, criticism, spanking, emotional detachment, ignoring type of communication, reproach, blackmail are acceptable methods of punishment to use when raising their own children. These results clearly demonstrate the problem of the impact of parental abuse on children and its consequences in the future. A virtual dimension of the actualized problem is considered, namely: - virtualization of aggression and cruelty in the postmodern world. - the level of determining the factor of cruelty from the space of virtual culture. - the mirror image of everyday cruelty in the virtual environment; - the phenomenon of video games as a source and context of representation of the factor of cruelty in behavioral realities; - cybercrime as a virtualized result of cruelty in family and everyday realities. - futurological perspectives of virtualization of cruelty in communicative culture in general and in family relations in particular. The postmodern world is fundamentally different from the traditions and culture of the past, primarily due to the development of computer technologies and the virtualization of life in general. So, for example, virtual communities have become, in a certain way, another world, a second reality of life in general. And certain behavioral factors, in particular cruelty in the private environment, became a projection of such a phenomenon as cybercrime. Video games are a unique modern phenomenon, which multipolarly absorb all facets of human potential, communicative tendencies, behavioral and characterological factors, from the warmth of interpersonal relationships to the extreme degree of cruelty.
