Time Stamping Service 기술 표준화 동향

  • Time stamping service는 데이터가 특정 시점에 존재하였다는 증거를 신뢰할 수 있는 제3의 기관(Trusted Third Party) 이 제공해주는 서비스로서 e-Business가 활성화되면서 그 필요성이 부각되고 있는 서비스이다. Time stamping service 관련 기술은 ISO/IEC JTCl SC27 WG2에서 표준화 작업이 진행되고 있으며 IETF PKIX WG에서는 RFC 3161로 표준문서가 나와있다. 본 고에서는 현재 표준 작업이 진행되고 있는 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27의 time stamping service 기술을 중심으로 서비스 개요와 지난 2001. 10.16(화)∼19(금) 서울에서 개최된 23차 SC27 기술 표준 회의에서 논의된 주요 쟁점 사항을 정리한다.

Springback Analyses in Sheet Metal Stamping Processes and Industrial Applications (박판 성형에서의 스프링백 해석과 산업적 응용)

  • The explicit and implicit time integration methods are applied effectively to analyze sheet metal stamping processes, which include the forming stage and the springback stage consecutively. The explicit time integration method has better merits in the forming stage including highly complicated three-dimensional contact conditions. By contrary, the implicit time integration method is better for analyzing springback since the complicated contact conditions are removed and the computing time to get the final static state is short. In this work, brief descriptions of the formulation and the factor study for springack simulations are presented. Further, the simulated results for the S-rail and the roof panel stamping processes are shown and discussed.

Dynamic Explicit Elastic-Plastic Finite Element Analysis of Large Auto-body Panel Stamping Process (대형 차체판넬 스템핑공정에서의 동적 외연적 탄소성 유한요소해석)

  • In the present work the elastic-plastic FE formulations using dynamic explicit time integration schemes are used for numerical analysis of a large auto-body panel stamping processes. For analyses of more complex cases with larger and more refined meshes, the explicit method is more time effective than implicit method, and has no convergency problem and has the robust nature of contact and friction algorithms while implicit method is widely used because of excellent accuracy and reliability. The elastic-plastic scheme is more reliable and rigorous while the rigid-plastic scheme require small computation time. In finite element simulation of auto-body panel stamping processes, the roobustness and stability of computation are important requirements since the computation time and convergency become major points of consideration besides the solution accuracy due to the complexity of geometry conditions. The performnce of the dynamic explicit algorithms are investigated by comparing the simulation results of formaing of complicate shaped autobody parts, such as a fuel tank and a rear hinge, with the experimental results. It has been shown that the proposed dynamic explicit elastic-plastic finite element method enables an effective computation for complicated auto-body panel stamping processes.

The lumping scheme is employed for the diagonal mass matrix and dynamic explicit formulation Multi-Stage stamping is analyzed by using dynamic-explicit finite element method. Further, the simulated results for the panel stamping processes are shown and discussed. Its application is being increased especially in the stamping industrial area for the cost reduction, weight saving, and improvement of strength.

  • In this study, an elasto-plastic finite element code, ESFORM, was developed to analyze sheet stamping processes. A formulation of 4-node degenerated shell element was implemented in the code. Workpiece materials were assumed to have planar anisotropy, and governed by associated flow rule. Explicit time integration method was employed to save computation time and reduce the required computer memory. Penalty method was used to describe interface behavior between workpiece and rigid die. Deep drawing of square cup and front finder stamping processes were simulated by ESFORM>

  • The trimming process is required for satisfying the dimensions of a final product in the hot stamping process. In general, the mechanical trimming or laser trimming process is applied after hot stamping. However, these processes have several disadvantages such as short tool life and low productivity. Therefore, in this study, the optimal trimless blank shape for the hot stamping process of a sill side was designed to remove the trimming process after hot stamping. In order to design the trimless blank, numerical analysis was performed. Firstly, CFD analysis was carried out to predict the cooling temperature and holding time of the hot stamping process. Then, the optimal trimless blank shape was determined through FE analysis. The effectiveness of the designed trimless blank shape was verified through a hot stamping experiment at an actual industrial site.

  • This study is to investigate the effects of cold forming method with steel sheet of SCP3C to improve continuous productivity. Experiments were carried out in various working conditions, such as the number of stamping and the punch temperature. The effects of the punch temperature and the number of stamping on drawability of steel sheet of SCP3C as well as clearance and draw-in in the number of stamping were examined and discussed. More improvement of continuous productivity in case of cold stamping rather than by conventional stamping at room temperature is obtained. The optimum forming condition for drawing trunk floor panel of SCP3C is shown as the punch is cooled by coolant of $-5^{\circ}C$ and at the same time both the die and the blankholder are heated by stamping and frictional heat.

  • For an accurate analysis of hot stamping, a coupled simulation with different aspects of the process(i.e. mechanical, thermal, and phase transformation) is needed. However, coupled simulations are time consuming and costly. Therefore, the current study proposes a simplified method focused on the forming for the hot stamping simulation of a coupled torsion beam axle (CTBA) tubular beam. In this simplified method, non-isothermal conditions were assumed and only conduction was considered, since it represents the majority of the heat transfer during hot stamping. In addition, temperature and strain rate effects were also included. Moreover, an isothermal simulation was conducted and compared with a non-isothermal simulation. Finally, the simulations were verified by experiments. In conclusion, the proposed method is shown to be effective for the development of tube-type parts, and it effectively predicts the deformation of the tubular beam during hot stamping.

On the contrary, the implicit time integration method is better for analyzing spring-back since the complicated contact conditions are removed and the computing time to get the final static state is short. In this work, brief descriptions of the formulation and the factor study are presented. Further, the simulated results for the total auto-body panel stamping processes are shown and discussed. The formability and the weld line movement in stamping with Tailor Welded Blanks were investigated through QTR-OTR-FRT.
