  • This paper evaluates minimum and maximum power exchange considering economic and technical characteristics between Russia and ROK. First, we evaluate minimum power exchange to assure the economic feasibility by comparison with the total cost and benefit of the interconnected line. For evaluating maximum exchange power, system constraints are considered, which are examined through load flow and dynamic analysis by using the PSS/E program. As a result of these evaluations, we suggest the reasonable range of power exchange between ROK and Russia considering economic and technical constraints with the interconnection scenario that power system interconnection between ROK and Russia will be realized in the year 2010.

  • The three neighbors of Korean peninsula, Japan, China, Russia are leading countries of the world as national power and economic power. They are also leading the field of science, particularly top class in the space development. In comparison, our country, Korea, has been going on develop new launch vehicle and building new launch complex in accordance with national space program. In this paper, examining the technical trends of launch complex of Russia and China which based on Russian rocket technologies and it will make a reference for KSLV-II and future space program through this information.

  • Russia is a country which is interested in mathematics education for gifted students for a long time. Some aspect of education for the gifted students in Russia(for example, mathematics curriculum, contents and activities of study, and selection of students in Russian physio-mathematics school) has already been studied. The purpose of this work was to introduce system of the mathematics education by correspondence for gifted students in Russia. In order to achieve this goal, we analyzed Russian literatures and articles published by the various physio-mathematics correspondence schools for gifted students. In this article, we gave some characteristics of the physio-mathematics correspondence schools for gifted students: various types of mathematics education by correspondence, curriculum, practical materials for mathematics education by correspondence.

  • This article can see the analysis of the monetary market of Russia at the present stage, its main segments. An assessment is given to the regulation of mechanism by liquidity, the transactions of the Bank of Russia on the provision of liquidity and on absorption of liquidity, the transaction of fixed action and the transaction in the public market are analyzed. To determine the tendency of development of the monetary market and its segments. In the work using the methods of multivariate statistics, the tools of financial mathematics. To be analyzed the amount of data from the 2015 -2016 year, the 2013 year. (daily data). Hypothesis 1. The dynamics of the money market of Russia at the present stage of development of domestic economy is rather stable. Hypothesis 2.The many transactions of regulation to decrease the liquidity of by monetary movement, the control function. Also in the article consider the contour of the financial transaction. This article reveals the theoretical bases of analysis of profitability of credit operations.

  • The purpose of this paper lies in the comparison of the body types between the subjects of Korean women in their 60's living in Russia and China. The findings are as follows. 1. The comparison of 80 items in physical measurements between the Korean women in their 60's living in Russia and China resulted in the differences in 57 items. While the height items including stature between them showed negligible differences, most of the length items relating to width, thickness, circumference, and obesity showed differences, which were big. 2. The analysis by using the physical measurements showed the differences in the number of the elements constituting the body types of the Korean women in their 60's, as 13 for those living in Russia and 11 for those living in China. 3. The cluster analysis for the comparison of the body types of each group, by categorizing the body types, produced three types for both groups. Koreans living in Russia were grouped as those with the short stature and light weight, the medium stature and medium weight, and the tall stature and heavy weight. Koreas living in China were classified as those with the short stature and medium weight, the tall stature and light weight, and the tall stature and heavy weight.

  • This research examined the transformations of the fisheries relations between Japan and Russia since the establishment of the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) system. The author reviewed the transformations with investigation on mutual fishing access to EEZ including salmon & trout catches. The Japan-Russia fisheries relations have evolved through multiple developmental stages, which include mutual fishing access to EEZ, the reductions of a fishing quota to balance catches of the nations, provision of financial and technical support, and a payment system of EEZ fishing access fee. The Japanese salmon industry also has done similar practices, continuing to catch salmon and trout in the Russian EEZ. Additionally, Japan and Russia have attempted to develop joint fisheries projects and to assure fishing operation safety around Kuril Islands. The case of Japan-Russia mutual fishing access shows that a country that has authority over crucial fisheries resources tends to establish specific conditions of mutual fishing access so that it maximizes its national interest. Thus, this case gives us implication what could be future directions of Korea-China-Japan multinational fishing access. The principle of same number of fishing vessels and quantities of catches has worked in existing mutual fishing access to EEZ among Korea, China, and Japan. However, it is expected that a nation that is endowed with abundant fisheries resources would limit counterpart's fishing access to its EEZ. Therefore, Korean fisheries administration should prepare for all possible situations like a dramatic cut in fishing quota and the termination of fishing access. International fisheries cooperation and payment of fishing access could be viable options for such a situation.

  • The time series of foreign trade turnover is complex and variable and contains linear and nonlinear information. This paper proposes preprocessing the dataset by the EMD algorithm and combining the linear prediction advantage of the SARIMA model with the nonlinear prediction advantage of the EMD-LSTM model to construct the SARIMA-EMD-LSTM hybrid model by the weight assignment method. The forecast performance of the single models is compared with that of the hybrid models by using MAPE and RMSE metrics. Furthermore, it is confirmed that the weight assignment approach can benefit from the hybrid models. The results show that the SARIMA model can capture the fluctuation pattern of the time series, but it cannot effectively predict the sudden drop in foreign trade turnover caused by special reasons and has the lowest accuracy in long-term forecasting. The EMD-LSTM model successfully resolves the hysteresis phenomenon and has the highest forecast accuracy of all models, with a MAPE of 7.4304%. Therefore, it can be effectively used to forecast the Sino-Russia foreign trade turnover time series post-epidemic. Hybrid models cannot take advantage of SARIMA linear and LSTM nonlinear forecasting, so weight assignment is not the best method to construct hybrid models.
