This paper proposes a network-based mobility control scheme in wireless/mobile networks, which is based on the Locator-Identifier Separation Protocol (LISP). Compared to the existing LISP mobility scheme, the proposed scheme is featured by the following two points: 1) each LISP Tunnel Router (TR) is implemented at the first-hop access router that mobile nodes are attached to, and 2) for handover support, the LISP Routing Locator (RLOC) update operation is performed between Ingress TR and Egress TR. By numerical analysis, it is shown that the proposed scheme can reduce the handover latency much more than the other candidate schemes.

In the nested mobile network environment, the mobile node selects one of multiple mobile routers. The MR(Mobile Router) by existing top-down or bottom-up methods may not be the optimal MR if the numbers of mobile nodes and routers are substantially increased, and the scale of the network is increased drastically. Since an inappropriate MR decision causes handover or binding renewal to mobile nodes, determining of the optimal MR is important for efficiency. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that decides on the optimal MR using MR QoS(Quality of Service) information, and we describe how to understand the various structured MLP(Multi-Layered Perceptron) based on the algorithm. In conclusion, we prove the ability of the suggested neural network for a nesting mobile network through the performance analysis of each learned MLP.

The main issue in mobile cloud computing is how to support a seamless service to a mobile mode. Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) is a mobility supporting protocol which is standardized by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). Mobile IPv6 fast handovers (FMIPv6) is the extension of MIPv6 which is proposed to overcome shortcomings of MIPv6. Recently, fast handovers for Mobile IPv6 over IEEE 802.16e which is one of broadband wireless access systems has been proposed by the IETF. It was designed for supporting cross-layer fast handover. In this paper, we propose an enhanced cross-layering mobile IPv6 fast handover over IEEE 802.16e networks. In our scheme, a new access router generates a new address for the mobile node by using a layer 2 trigger. We utilize a layer 2 message which is sent from a new base station to the new access router in order to inform the new access router of information of the mobile node. A previous access router sends a binding update message to the mobile node's home agent when it acquires the new address of the mobile node. We evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme compared with the existing schemes in terms of the signaling cost and the handover latency. From the results, we observe that the proposed scheme can support fast handover effectively over IEEE 802.16e networks than existing schemes.

As the demand for ubiquitous mobile wireless Internet grows, vehicles are receiving a lot of attention as new networking platforms. The demand for 4G all-IP networks encourages vehicle networks to be connected using IPv6. By means of network mobility (NEMO) support, we can connect sensors, controllers, local ,servers as well as passengers' devices of a vehicle to the Internet through a mobile router. The mobile router provides the connectivity to the Internet and mobility transparency for the rest of the mobile nodes of an in-vehicle nv6 network. So, it is .important for the mobile router to assure reliable connection and a sufficient data rate for the group of nodes behind it. To provide reliability, this paper proposes an adaptive multihoming architecture of multiple mobile routers. Proposed architecture makes use of different mobility characteristics of different vehicles. Simulation results with different configurations show that the proposed architecture increases session preservation thus increases reliability and reduces packet loss. We also show that the proposed architecture is adaptive to heterogeneous access environment which provide different access coverage areas and data rates. The result shows that our architecture achieves sufficient data rates as well as session preservation.
F-HMIPv6 is protocol that supports fast handovers for Hierarchical Mobile IPv6. Unlike HMIPv6 (Hierarchical Mobile IPv6), it sends FBU(Fast Binding Update) by predicted Router's Information for a potential handover. But, The current version of this protocol doesn't ensure impeccably between mobile node and router. To make up for the weak points of the security, we propose the architecture for F-HMIPv6 protocol to structurally reinforce the security and improve weak security of among mobile node, MAP(Mobility Anchor Point), and routers for binding update when mobile node conducts handovers.

EHMIPv6(Enhanced Hierarchical Mobile Ipv6)는 호스트의 로컬 이동성을 제공해주기 위해 제시된 EHMIPv6(Hierarchical Mobile Ipv6)를 이동 네트워크 환경에 맞게 변형한 이동 관리 방법이다.

In this paper, we propose a Designed and Developed home router management system. Through the fourth industrial revolution and development of IoT technology, now people can experience a wide range of IoT related services at their workplace or daily lives. At the industrial site, IoT devices are used to improve productivity such as factory automation, and at home, IoT technology is used to control home appliances from a remote distance. Usually IoT device is integrated and controlled by the router. Home router connects different IoT devices together at home, however when security issues arise, it can invade personal privacy. Even though these threats exist, the perception for home router security is still insufficient. In this paper, we have designed and developed home router management system using DEVS methodology to promote the safe use of home router. Through the DEVS methodology, we have designed the system and developed the mobile application. This management system enables users to set up security options for home router easily.

To prevent the performance degradation of TCP due to packet loss in the smooth handoff by the route optimization extension of Mobile If protocol, a buffering of packets at a base station is needed. A buffering of packets at a base station recovers the packets dropped during the handoff by forwarding the buffered packets at the old base station to the mobile user. But, when the mobile user moves to a new foreign network which is connected to a congested router, the buffered packets forwarded by the old base station are dropped and the link utilization performance degraded due to increased congestion by the forwarded packets. In this paper, when the mobile user moves to a new foreign network which is connected to a congested router, Ive propose a packet forwarding control scheme required far the old base station to improve TCP performance in mobile networks. The old base station forwards or discards the buffered packets during handoff by proposed packet forwarding control scheme based on congestion states of RED(Random Early Detection) at the congested router. Simulation results slow that link utilization performance can be improved by applying proposed packet forwarding control scheme.

In NEMO scenarios, mobile node's variety of movements and mobile router's point of attachment changes can result in handover. This handover process needs additional time to finish due to the multiple levels of indirection involved in NEMO. And the performance issues of mobile node's handover such as handover delay and packet loss in above cases haven't been studied thoroughly. So, in this paper, we define fast handover failure cases in hierarchical mobile IPv6 network based NEMO. We briefly described NEMO architecture and handover procedures of FMIPv6 and HMIPv6. And then, we classified mobile node or mobile router's movement pattern into several scenarios. Analysis for the fast handover classified NEMO scenarios, in terms of handover latency and packet delivery cost have been performed.

With the development of mobile communications and Internet technology, there is a strong need to provide seamless and fast connectivity for roaming devices. Generally, the mobile host (MH) may have several available networks when entering a new wireless area. However, the standard of decision for user's internet connection is provided only the subsystem identification (SSID) and signal strength of access point (AP). These two standards could not enough to decide optimal AP to the MH. Therefore, to decide the optimal AP, more information is needed. In this paper, we present additional information such as status of MH, capacity, current load, and depth of network hierarchy, by router advertisement message at layer 3. Also, we proposed decision engine (DE) on the MH that analyzes APs and decides the optimal AP automatically by AP's status information. For the MH, wireless connection period is increased, the power consumption is decreased, and the signaling overhead is reduced. For AP and router, the load balancing is provided and the network topology can also be more efficient.
