In this paper, an analytical method is used to perform a sensitivity analysis of geometric errors in a three-axis machine tool. First, an error synthesis model is constructed for evaluating the position volumetric error due to the geometric errors, and then an output variable is defined, such as the magnitude of the position volumetric error. Next, the global sensitivity analysis is executed using an analytical method. Finally, the sensitivity indices are calculated using the quantitative values of the geometric errors.

A 2-site immunoradiometric assay for serum ferritin was evaluated with commercially available kit. The assay required 6 hours. The slope of the standard curve kept up ideal range with the calculation of maxium binding instead of total dose until expire date. The stage II washing was more important than the stage I washing on the modified washing procedure as the bead keeping to remain in the tube. With this modified mothod, three times of tube. washing was sufficient to reduce the significant errors The measured values of serially diluted sample with standard diluting buffer was proportional to the predicted values. In the experiment of serum effect on the assay. a linear relationship from 5 to 50% serum, but beyond 50% there was reduction in measured ferritin concentration. It has a sensitivity of 2.77 ng/ml, within-assay precision (CV) of 8.0%, and between-assay reproducibility(CV) of 7.4% (mean 174.8 ng/ml).

Traditionally, a positive bone scan shows single or multiple areas of increased uptake in the metastatic skeletal disease. The occurence of "cold" lytic-like or photon-deficient lesions in bone imaging is probably uncommon. Photon-deficient focus or cold lesion of the sternum was demonstrated on $^{99m}Tc-MDP$ bone imaging in 2 individuals with acute myloid leukemia and primary hepatoma, respectively.

The results of radioiodine treatment of 88 patients are reported. As in the case presented above, careful follow-up with continuous administration of adequate amount of thyroid hormone is very important. To check whether recurrent lesions have appeared or not, scintigrams with test dose of $I^{131}$, usually 1 to 10 mCi, are taken in general. However, it is important that there is a fact that administration of much larger dose (30 to 100 mCi) of $I^{131}$ may result in presenting additional lesions on the scintigrams. Recently, clinical usefulness of serum thyroglobulin determination has been mentioned in literatures from the standpoint of follow-up study of patients after radioiodine treatment. Although this technique seems to be valuable, we have to be aware of the possibility of fluctuation of data which may occur in connection with administration of thyroid hormone. Finally, I would like to say that radioiodine treatment is an effective method for thyroid cancer if patients are adequately selected. However, radioiodine treatment itself is sometimes not enough from the standpoint of radiation dose to the lesions. In such cases, we should not hesitate to consider combination therapy with other modalities. Therefore, in order to overcome this undesirable disease, cooperation between nuclear medicine specialists and other oncologists, such as radiotherapists, is necessary.

Field tests of hybrid desiccant cooling systems were conducted from July to August 2011. Data were monitored and transferred in real time over the Internet. The monitored variableswere analyzed to determine the performance characteristics under outdoor conditions. A series of system simulations has been conducted for outdoor conditions of the field tests. The results agree well with the experimental data in general. The system performance has been shown to deteriorate for wetter conditions, as predicted by the simulation.

We present the accurate investigation the seismic behavior of the gravity retaining wall built near rock face based on numerical method. The retaining wall is a useful structure in geotechnical engineering, where the earthquake is a common phenomenon; therefore, the evaluation of the behavior of the retaining wall during an earthquake is essential. However, in all previous studies, the backfill behind the wall was usually approximated by a homogeneous region, while in contrast, in practice, in many cases retaining walls are used to support the soil pressure in, inhomogeneous, mountainous area. This suggests an accurate investigation of the problem, i.e., numerical analysis. The numerical results will be compared with some of recently proposed analytical methods to show the accuracy of the proposed method. We show that increasing the volume of the rock face yields decreasing the permanent horizontal displacement of the gravity retaining wall built near rock face. Besides, we see that the permanent horizontal displacement of the gravity retaining wall with homogenous backfill is more than permanent horizontal displacement of the gravity retaining wall case of the built near rock face in different frequency contents.

Angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma is a rare soft tissue tumor that generally affects children and young adults. We report a case of angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma in an 11-year-old boy who complained of a back mass for 3 years. Surgical excision was performed. The excised specimen showed a $4.0{\times}3.6{\times}3.0cm$, well circumscribed, grayish white tumor, with multicystic changes. Histological examination showed proliferation of spindle or round shaped tumor cells. There was a dense fibrous pseudocapsule with prominent chronic inflammatory cell infiltrates.

Nowadays, digital map plays a role as a container of spatial database.'there have been many researches concerning the improvements of the digital map accuracy. From the user's viewpoint, however, the quality level of digital nap is as important as its accuracy, because fitness-for-use is considered the most important factor to the users. This study aims to find the methodology for determining the grade nか digital map. To accomplish this, we propose two major stages. First, weight factors of the layers are given according to the importance of the functions which must be considered in digital map generation. Scond, weight factors of the components to evaluate the accuracy of the digital map are presented By scoring the components and by summing the scores, the method for determining fitness-for-use is developed.

This study is were to demonstratehow tourism motivation related to Water leisure influence the effectiveness of tourism value, based on the empirical information provided by Chung-ju visitors. The result of study revealsthat there are some significant motivational differences depending on the level of the visitors' past water leisure experiences. In addition, the tourism motivation impacts partly on the effectiveness of tourism value. These findings enable entrepreneurs to participate in efforts not only to provide separate stimulus elements depending on level of water leisure experiences but also to propose several innovative strategies that could be adopted and applied to water leisure tourism value.

Objective This study is designed to investigate the effect of Korean medical therapy on Allergic purpura patients.Method This is a case report on a male and a female patients who has been suffering from allergic purpura. To reduce her symptoms, we provided with internal herbal medicine 2-3 times a day, acupuncture therapy 1-2 times a day.Results After series of treatments, the symptoms of allergic purpura were remarkably improved.Conclusions This study shows us that Korean medical treatments has remedial values for purpura patients. Hence, more studies should be demanded in Korean medicine for elevation of treatment rate.
