A meta-analytic study on flight data monitor of pilot's flight deviation parameters by flight simulation (비행시뮬레이션을 통한 비행규격 이탈의 메타분석)

  • This study was conducted with respect to the causal factors revealed through the investigation of the recent airlines aircraft crash accident which occurred while aircraft was on the climb-out or on the final approach. This study also highlighted the importance of flight deviation and exceedance occurrences in consideration of Flight Operational Quality Assurance Program(FOQA). Twenty airline pilots participated in the flight experiment to perform ten(10) sets of simulated approaches and landings. As a result, Twelve(12) kinds of deviation events were discovered. In this respect, The FOQA program must be fully implemented to prevent any flight safety incident under the auspices of the Korea domestic aviation community as well.

  • Recently, selects method of waterproofing where is suitable with method and material physical properties, construction technique, Productive technique and specifications and maintenance techniques evaluation for the same evaluation method is coming to be presented. Respects the application which select system is substantial objectively reflects a weight to evaluation item the research for is necessary. This research the evaluation which in order is effective and the decision-making to be possible about technically countermeasures for a quality security from waterproofing materials, method selection processes, clearly responsible dividing of construction and maintenance techniques. A sets weight of evaluation item for right select system, it stratify the causes which affect in priority based on AHP.

  • The reliability test is a crucial step for ensuring robustness of high-cost and complex weapon systems. In this paper, we present a set of quantitative criteria to select critical parts or components in weapon systems for the reliability test, and implement a fuzzy inference system by applying developed criteria to fuzzy theory. We classify the selection criteria of critical parts or components into four fuzzy sets and membership functions. A fuzzy inference rule is proposed based on the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis technique so as to derive a convincing reliability test. The credibility of the fuzzy inference system is confirmed through a case study using actual equipment data exacted from an existent weapon system.

  • The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a decision making model, which is more applicable than other methods to R&D project selection, particularly when it is applied to intangibles. The objective of this paper is to develop an extended model of the AHP which Is linked to Cross Impact Analysis to assist in the ranking of a large number of technological alternatives. Bifurcation Analysis of a Non-linear Hysteretic Oscillating System (비선형 히스테리시스 진동시스템의 분기해석)

  • Three kinds of viscoelastic damper model, which has a non-linear spring as an element is studied analytically and numerically. The behavior of the damper model shows non-linear hysteresis curves which is qualitatively similar to those of real viscoelastic materials. The motion is governed by a non-linear constitutive equation and an additional equation of motion. Harmonic balance method is applied to get analytic solutions of the system. The frequency-response curves show that multiple solutions co-exist and that the jump phenomena can occur. In addition, it is shown that separate solution branch exists and that it can merge with the primary response curve. Saddle-node bifurcation sets explain the occurrences of such non-linear phenomena.

The motion is governed by three-dimensional non-linear dynamical system of equations. The harmonic balance method is applied to get analytic solutions of the system. A direct time integration of the original equation of motion validifies the use of the harmonic balance method to this sort of problem.

  • This study extends the extant scope of understanding investment decision, beyond the dominant 'technical' emphasis on the application of discounted cash flow techniques. The research methodology draws the positivist and interpretive research paradigms. It uses a deductive approach, survey strategy and principal component analysis for the analysis. Three key sets of factors emerged as important in the investment decision process in the hydropower sector. They are: group consensus (framing), influences on own judgment (heuristics), and application of knowledge & experience (intuition). The use of purposive and convenient sampling might have some unintended impact on the findings. Consequently, any generalizations of the findings to a wider population of organizations and managers need to be made with care. It is hoped that this paper will encourage other researchers to go beyond the analytic techniques of investment appraisal that have dominated investment decision research and seek to balance the emphasis by focusing on human involvement and behavioral aspects of investment decision.

  • Tubular coils are widely used in various electromagnetic applications. For the purpose to obtain the mechanical output power, one of the two sets of coil arrays, called drive, is generally fixed while the other, called sleeve or projectile, is not fixed and easy to move. Among the three force components acting on the coil arrays, the radial one used to affect as a stress on the surfiace of the sleeve, or a restoring force if it is off-centered. The system under transient state or intended pulsed input power is likely to have the worst condition in mechanical stress, and it is necessary to design the mechanical strength of the sleeve within the permanent deformation limit. This paper is focused on the presentation of analytic expressions for the stress on surface of the sleeve.

  • Procedures to perform reliable relativistic self-consistent-field (RSCF) calculations are described. Using light atoms and molecules, it is demonstrated that the present method always yields correct nonrelativistic limit by employing a sufficiently large value for the speed of light in RSCF calculations. Many problems associated with analytic expansions of the Dirac equations can be computationally avoided by kinetically balancing the basis sets for large and small component spinors. Results of RSCF calculations for Ne, Kr, $H_2$, and LiH indicate very small relativistic effects for these systems as expected. Trends found is these molecules, however, may be useful in understanding relativistic effects for molecules with similar valence electronic structures and heavier atoms.

  • Hadoop and Apache Spark are Apache Software Foundation open source projects, and both of them are premier large data analytic tools. Hadoop has led the big data industry for five years. The processing velocity of the Spark can be significantly different, up to 100 times quicker. However, the amount of data handled varies: Hadoop Map Reduce can process data sets that are far bigger than Spark. This article compares the performance of both spark and map and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of both above-noted technologies.
