  • This paper proposes an algorithm for risk situation recognition using facial expression. The proposed method recognitions the surprise and fear expression among human's various emotional expression for recognizing dangerous situation. The proposed method firstly extracts the facial region using Harr-like technique from input, detects eye region and lip region from the extracted face. And then, the method applies Uniform LBP to each region, detects facial expression, and recognizes dangerous situation. The proposed method is evaluated for MUCT database image and web cam input. The proposed method produces good results of facial expression and discriminates dangerous situation well and the average recognition rate is 91.05%.

  • In this paper, the pattern of extracting the same expression is proposed by using the Android intelligent device to identify the facial expression. The understanding and expression of expression are very important to human computer interaction, and the technology to identify human expressions is very popular. Instead of searching for the emoticons that users often use, you can identify facial expressions with acamera, which is a useful technique that can be used now. This thesis puts forward the technology of the third data is available on the website of the set, use the content to improve the infrastructure of the facial expression recognition accuracy, in order to improve the synthesis of neural network algorithm, making the facial expression recognition model, the user's facial expressions and similar e xpressions, reached 66%.It doesn't need to search for emoticons. If you use the camera to recognize the expression, itwill appear emoticons immediately. So this service is the emoticons used when people send messages to others, and it can feel a lot of convenience. In countless emoticons, there is no need to find emoticons, which is an increasing trend in deep learning. So we need to use more suitable algorithm for expression recognition, and then improve accuracy.

  • Gene expression data are the quantitative measurements of expression levels and ratios of numberous genes in different situations based on microarray image analysis results. The process to draw meaningful information related to genomic diseases and various biological activities from gene expression data is known as gene expression data analysis. In this paper, we present a hierarchical clustering method of gene expression data based on self organizing map which can analyze the clustering result of gene expression data more efficiently. Using our proposed method, we could eliminate the uncertainty of cluster boundary which is the inherited disadvantage of self organizing map and use the visualization function of hierarchical clustering. And, we could process massive data using fast processing speed of self organizing map and interpret the clustering result of self organizing map more efficiently and user-friendly. To verify the efficiency of our proposed algorithm, we performed tests with following 3 data sets, animal feature data set, yeast gene expression data and leukemia gene expression data set. The result demonstrated the feasibility and utility of the proposed clustering algorithm.

  • Facial expression recognition is an important part in emotional interaction between human and machine. This paper proposes a facial expression recognition approach based on multi-classifier fusion with stacking algorithm. The kappa-error diagram is employed in base-level classifiers selection, which gains insights about which individual classifier has the better recognition performance and how diverse among them to help improve the recognition accuracy rate by fusing the complementary functions. In order to avoid the influence of the chance factor caused by guessing in algorithm evaluation and get more reliable awareness of algorithm performance, kappa and informedness besides accuracy are utilized as measure criteria in the comparison experiments. To verify the effectiveness of our approach, two public databases are used in the experiments. The experiment results show that compared with individual classifier and two other typical ensemble methods, our proposed stacked ensemble system does recognize facial expression more accurately with less standard deviation. It overcomes the individual classifier's bias and achieves more reliable recognition results.

  • Gene expression profiles may offer more information than morphology and provide an alternative to morphology- based tumor classification systems. Informative gene selection is finding gene subsets that are able to discriminate between tumor types, and may have clear biological interpretation. Gene selection is a fundamental issue in gene expression based tumor classification. In this report, techniques for selecting informative genes are illustrated and supervised shaving introduced as a gene selection method in the place of a clustering algorithm. The supervised shaving method showed good performance in gene selection and classification, even though it is a clustering algorithm. Almost selected genes are related to leukemia disease. The expression profiles of 3051 genes were analyzed in 27 acute lymphoblastic leukemia and 11 myeloid leukemia samples. Through these examples, the supervised shaving method has been shown to produce biologically significant genes of more than $94\%$ accuracy of classification. In this report, SVM has also been shown to be a practicable method for gene expression-based classification.

  • The keyword 'healing' is essential to the competitive society and culture of Koreans. In addition, as the time at home increases due to COVID-19, the demand for indoor healing services has increased. Therefore, this thesis analyzes the user's facial expression so that people can receive various 'customized' healing services indoors, and based on this, provides lighting, ASMR, video recommendation service, and facial expression recording service. The user's expression was analyzed by applying the ensemble algorithm to the expression prediction results of various CNN models after extracting only the face through object detection from the image taken by the user.

  • This paper presents an emotion recognition and its expression system of an intelligent robot like a home robot or a service robot. Emotion recognition method in the robot is used by a facial image. We use a motion and a position of many facial features. apply a tracking algorithm to recognize a moving user in the mobile robot and eliminate a skin color of a hand and a background without a facial region by using the facial region detecting algorithm in objecting user image. After normalizer operations are the image enlarge or reduction by distance of the detecting facial region and the image revolution transformation by an angel of a face, the mobile robot can object the facial image of a fixing size. And materialize a multi feature selection algorithm to enable robot to recognize an emotion of user. In this paper, used a multi layer perceptron of Artificial Neural Network(ANN) as a pattern recognition art, and a Back Propagation(BP) algorithm as a learning algorithm. Emotion of user that robot recognized is expressed as a graphic LCD. At this time, change two coordinates as the number of times of emotion expressed in ANN, and change a parameter of facial elements(eyes, eyebrows, mouth) as the change of two coordinates. By materializing the system, expressed the complex emotion of human as the avatar of LCD.

  • In this paper, we present an algorithm of real time facial expression and gesture recognition for image sequence on the gray level. A mixture algorithm of a template matching and knowledge based geometrical consideration of a face were adapted to locate the face area in input image. And optical flow method applied on the area to recognize facial expressions. Also, we suggest hand area detection algorithm form a background image by analyzing entropy in an image. With modified hand area detection algorithm, it was possible to recognize hand gestures from it. As a results, the experiments showed that the suggested algorithm was good at recognizing one's facial expression and hand gesture by detecting a dominant motion area on images without getting any limits from the background image.

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm to transform an object calculus into an object algebra. The algorithm translates the calculus expression into an equivalent algebra expression, and it maps the object algebra expression to an object algebra operator graph. This translation algorithm not only generates an efficient access plan of queries, but also proves the equivalent expressiveness of queries.
