중학생의 교과서 실험 수행에서 나타난 문제점:실험 목표와 관련 변인 인식 및 인식한 목표와 도출된 결론의 관련성 (The Problems Which Appeared in 13 Year Old Pupils' Performing Experiment of Textbook: Pupils' Suggested Aims, Their Identifying Relevant Variables, and the Relations between the Suggested Aims and the Drawn Conclusions)

  • 교과서의 실험을 제목에 변인이 명시적으로 기술된 정도에 따라 (1) 독립 변인과 종속변인이 모두 기술된 경우, (2) 종속 변인만 기술되었으나 실험의 내용에서 독립 변인을 알 수 있는 경우, (3) 종속 변인만 기술되 었으나 실험의 내용에서 독립 변인을 알 수 없는 경우로 분류하여 중학교 1학년의 실험 목표와 관련 변인 인식 및 인식한 목표와 도출된 결론의 관련성을 알아보았다. 학생들이 진술한 목표를 살펴보면 (1)은 학생들이 진술 한 목표가 교과서에서 의도한 내용으로 수렴된 반면 (2), (3) 의 경우는 교과서의 의도와 별 관련 없는 여러 가지 유형으로 분산되었다. 이는 학생들의 목표 인식이 실험 제목에 변인이 얼마나 명시적으로 기술되어 있는 가 하는 정도에 영향올 받는다고 해석할 수 있다. 이러한 사실은 실험 제목에 변인이 명확하게 기술될 수록 학생들이 판별한 변인도 교과서에서 의도한 것으로 수렴된다는 것올 확인할 수 있다. 한편, 학생들이 내린 결론은 (1)의 경우 관련성이 보였으나, (2), (3)의 경우 진술한 목표와 결론의 관련성은 적었다. 그러나 (1)의 경우에도 학생들이 진술한 결론은 교과서의 의도와 일치하지 않앗다. 이는 교과서의 실험 설계가 적절하지 않았기 때문이다. 성공적으로 실험을 수행하도록 하기 위해서는 실험의 개방성 정도와 학생의 인지 능력을 동시에 고려하여야 하고 실험의 설계에 주의를 기울일 필요가있다.

곡관내 자성유체 PLUG의 진동특성 (The Oscillation Characteristics of a Magneticfluid Plug in Curved Tube)

  • The aim of the present study is to provide fundamental informations for the development of magneticfluid actuator. To achieve the aim, oscillation characteristics of the magneticfluid plug are investigated by experiment for the various length and position of the magneticfluid plug and the frequency of magnetic field. The oscillation characteristics are obtained. Amplitude, natural frequency, phase shift and damping ratio, are compared with theoretical values. From the study, the following conclusive remarks can be made. The experimental equation for the magnetic field is obtained. The critical magneticfluid length exists and its value is about 70mm. The range of the damping ratio and fluid loss coefficient obtained by experiment are 0.1~0.2 and 30~100, respectively. Comparison between experimental and theoretical results of oscillation characteristics shows good agreement in the high frequency range. Meanwhile, in the low frequency range, there appears little discrepancies(5% in the frequency and amplitude and 10% in phase difference and damping ratio) with each other.

  • In this study, we aim to develop energy efficient walking and running robot with compliant leg. So, we propose the energy efficient locomotion control method. And, we experiment the proposed control method applying to the experimental robot with compliant leg. From the experiment, we look at whether the proposed control method can the robot walk and run energy efficiently.

  • The aim of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of electrochemical corrosion with the plasma ion nitriding temperature for 16Cr-10Ni-2Mo stainless steel. The corrosion behavior was analyzed by means of galvanostatic experiment in natural seawater that applied various current density with plasma ion nitriding temperature parameters. In result of galvanostatic experiment, relatively less surface damage morphology and the less damage depth was observed at a nitrided temperature of $450^{\circ}C$ that measured the thickest nitrided layer(S-phase). On the other hand, the most damage depth and unified corrosion behavior presented at a temperature of $500^{\circ}C$.

Eye Tracking Research on Cinemagraph e-Magazine

  • This study has performed a comparative analysis between groups based on Time To First Fixation, Fixation Duration, Fixation Count and Total Visit Duration, which are eye-tracking analysis indicators on what visual attention is shown compared to the e-magazine produced as regular images related to e-magazines in which experiment subjects have applied cinemagraph images as eye tracking research on the e-magazine produced with cinemagraph images and e-magazines produced with regular images. The experiment sample used e-magazines composed of nine pages while AOI (area of interest) has been set up on each page by classifying image and text regions. A combined 30 people took part in the experiment, which was performed by randomly assigning 15 to the experiment group and 15 to the control group. According to the results of the analysis, the experiment group recorded a shorter time than the control group on the e-magazine produced with cinemagraph images through Time To First Fixation. Though no significant difference was found between the experiment and control groups in Fixation Duration, a substantial difference did appear between Fixation Duration and Total Visit Duration.

  • The effect of experimental factors on the Freeze-Thaw durability in the High Strength Concrete has been analyzed and investigated with [DESIGN of EXPERIMENT: L16). The Experimental parameters included the type of aggregate and mixer, the conditions of aggregates, and the difference of mixing temperature, procedure and placing, etc. It is aim of this study to provide the fundamental data on the effect of various factors on the frost resistance of high strength concrete for the practical use and research data accumulation of durability inspection. The results of this experiment indicate that the freeze-thaw durability of high strength concrete is markedly affected by the coarse aggregate source, mixing temperature and curing conditions.

  • There are two fold aims in this experimental study. The aim is to investigate the bacteria which produce the high activity enzyme or the cocoon for utilization to the textile and the industry. The ether is to protect against the bacteria that damage silk protein during storage. The results are summarized as followes: 1. Among the isolated bacteria from the cocoon, No 4 strain had the high activity of the $\alpha$-amylase. But this strain had not been identified. The results of experiment is shown in the table II. 2. Among the isolated bacteria from the cocoon, No II strain had the high activity of the protease on substance of the casein. The results of the experiment is shown in the table II. 3. The bacteria which had the high activity of the degumming effect of the sericin, the part of the operation for 7 days was higher part of the operation for 3 days. The results of the experiment are indicated in Fig I and Fig II.

추적식 수상 태양광 발전 시스템 성능 분석 (The Efficiency Analysis of Tracking-Type Floating PV System)

  • The Floating Photovoltaic System was installed on the surface of water. There were some researches in this subject. But there was not many studies with experiment on a high waterproof Floating Photovoltaic modules. The aim of this study was to analyze the performance of the Floating Photovoltaic System. For this experiment, a high waterproof Floating Photovoltaic modules were designed and applied to the module capacity of 10 kW Tracking-Type structure. The experiment results indicated the performance of the daily production is 51.6 kW; the production capacity of Floating Photovoltaic System is expected to be 23% higher than that of the ground-mounted photovoltaic system.

Ethylene Glycol로 유발된 급성신부전증 이환견에 대한 혈액투석효과 (Effect of Hemodialysis on Dogs with Acute Renal Failure Induced by Ethylene Glycol)

  • The aim of this study is to clarify the therapeutic effect of hemodialysis (HD) on acute renal failure in dogs experimentally induced by ethylene glycol (EG) ingestion in experiment 1(HD on 12 and 36 hours after EG injestion) and experiment 2(HD on 24 and 48 hours after EG injestion). Clinical signs such as vomiting, depression, ataxia and knuckling were improved on experiment 1 and 2. White blood cell (WBC) and platelets (PLT) were decreased, and packed cell volume (PCV) was increased after hemodialysis, however, no significant differences were observed in experiment 1 and 2. BUN, creatinine and phosphorus was significantly decreased in experiment 1 and 2, respectively. These results suggested that hemodialysis was effective for acute renal failure in dogs induced by EG ingestion.

경관조명 주관평가 실험에서의 평가대상 제시 방법에 대한 유효성 검증 (The Validity Verifying of Evaluation Object Method Proposal in Subject evaluation experiment for Exterior Lighting)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 야간경관조명의 다양한 조명기법을 대상으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 이미지 예측실험을 통해 조명기법별 평가특성을 분석하기 위한 기초연구로서 현장실험을 기준으로 물리량 및 주관 평가의 유효성을 검증하는데 있다. 연구는 우선 예비실험을 통해 선정된 평가어휘를 바탕으로 현장실험의 실험조건별 사진촬영과 물리량 측정 및 주관평가를 수행하여 조명 해석 프로그램에서 계산된 물리량과, 현장 실험에서 측정된 물리량을 비교하였으며 각각의 주관평가 결과를 가지고 현장과 CG, 현장과 사진에 대한 유효성을 검증하였다. 연구결과 1) 물리량의 유효성 검증결과 유의차가 5% 내외로 유의차가 없었으며 2) 현장실험과 CG, 현장실험과 사진실험의 주관평가 유효성 검증 결과 일부 항목을 제외한 대부분의 항목에서 유의차가 없는 것으로 나타났다.
