The government aims at promoting the national growth and heightening efficiency through the creativity economy. This study focus on the effectiveness(difference of the tax bearance) of tax-aid system(tax-reduction and tax-deduction) for the venture firms and small & medium firms. Sampling of this study was collected through what had been recorded to the enterprise information service of Korcham(venture firms), DB of Small & Medium Business Administration Authority from 2010 to 2012, and opened information of the KOSDAQ Association. The results were as follows. Firstly, There exists differences in the tax bearance rate between the tax-aided corporation and the tax-nonaided corporation through venture firms and small & medium firms. Secondly, Venture firms were investigated to bear low tax-bearance rate in contrast to Small & Medium Firms. The results of this study shows that the national tax-aided system is effective, and can be led to another new politics alternatives.
Applying discourse analysis of Russia's narrative on humanitarian aid and its perception by the Western collective identity at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, this study identifies several challenges that constructivism poses to the current understanding of public diplomacy (PD). In contrast to the mainstream positivist tendency to evaluate the effectiveness of PD through models, this article expands the PD narrative by inquiring about the role of power, intersubjective knowledge, and collective identities in public diplomacy. In particular, it examines the PD questions often ignored by researchers regarding how collective identities can exercise discursive power to interpret incoming narratives, which challenge domestic intersubjective knowledge. It also argues that, because the Russian political elite failed to ensure a coherent story and provide informational support for its humanitarian aid, the Western intersubjective knowledge on Russia negatively contributed to the perception of PD narratives. Thus, the article underscores the importance for PD practitioners to understand how the socially constructed nature of knowledge can improve or harm PD strategies.
Purpose: This study was to test the effectiveness of Web-based multimedia contents for Physical Examination and Health Assessment on learning achievement. Method: Multimedia contents based on Jung's teaching and learning structure model were used to enhance learning achievement. Learning achievement was measured by the knowledge of Physical Examination and Health Assessment. The participants of this study were students in a BSN and RN-BSN program in a university located in Seoul. 59 students in the experimental group received lectures using web-based multimedia contents and 75 students in the control group received regular lectures. Results: The mean score of the degree of educational achievement in the experimental group(mean=31.09) was significantly higher than in the control group(mean=25.55)(t=-3.883, p=.000). Conclusion: These web-based multimedia contents were found to maximizethe effectiveness of the teaching process when used as a teaching aid, and yet kept the strength of a face to face teaching learning method. This program is recommended as part of a main text, vital teaching aid or cyber lecture materials in nursing schools and in health care educational institutions.

Background: Emergencies in outpatient clinics are rare. However, potentially catastrophic events can be challenging to manage due to a variety of factors, including limited equipment and staff. The purpose of this quality improvement project was to improve the staff knowledge and familiarity with critical performance elements for emergencies encountered in the setting of a periodontics clinic. Methods: Emergency cognitive aids tailored to the clinic's resources were created for anaphylaxis, airway obstruction, and sublingual hemorrhage. The project pre-post-test repeated measures design evaluated the effectiveness of cognitive aids using a combination of hands-on simulation, written knowledge assessments, and self-efficacy surveys. Training sessions and simulations were provided to the clinic's existing care teams made up of a periodontist and two dental assistants with an anesthetist who was present for simulations involving sedation. Due to the small sample size (N = 14) and non-normal distribution, all metrics were evaluated using non-parametric statistics. Results: Significant improvements were found in knowledge assessment (-2.310, P = 0.021) and self-efficacy (-2.486, P = 0.013) scores when retention after a training session before and after the introduction of cognitive aid was compared. The mean simulation scores and times improved steadily or reached maximum scores during the project progression. Conclusion: Training sessions before and after cognitive aid introduction were effective in improving knowledge, self-efficacy, and simulation performance. Future projects should focus on validating the process for creating contextualized cognitive aids and evaluating the effectiveness of these cognitive aids in larger samples.
The evaluation of aid effectiveness at the national level has mostly focused on qualitative evaluation. This paper attempts to quantitatively evaluate EDCF 's support for Vietnam in 1995 ~ 2016 on the economy. First, we compare the strengths and weaknesses of various methodologies that can be used for quantitative assessment: panel analysis based on growth theory, input-output analysis, social account matrix analysis, CGE model, DSGE model, and time series analysis. Using the input-output analysis, we estimate that total output and value added have been generated about $5.9 billion and $1.7 billion in Vietnam, respectively. The increase in income per capita from the support was estimated to have contributed to a 0.21%p reduction in the poverty rate in Vietnam.
The purpose of this study is to collect basic data for the development of first aid education program for Chinese international students studying in Korea. From September 2015 to May 2016, on the subjects of 175 Chinese international students, their first aid knowledge, education needs and self efficacy were identified using structured questionnaires. As a result, only 5.4% of Chinese international students received first aid education in Korea. Their knowledge of first aid was 0.16 points out of the total 1 point and self efficacy was 2.60 points out of the total 5 points. Also, the educational needs of the subjects were relatively high at 3.37 points out of the total 5 points. In conclusion, it is said that it is necessary to develop a first aid education program to raise the knowledge level and self efficacy of first aid for Chinese international students, and to meet their education needs. To increase the effectiveness of first aid training programs for Chinese international students, it is necessary to strengthen education contents of areas where knowledge and self efficacy were low and education needs were high in program development, and the group of subjects with low knowledge level and self efficacy are required to have special care and attention.
SMEs in Korea are suffering from severe manpower shortage due to poor incentive system and employees' frequent change of jobs. So far, the government has made continuous efforts to solve these problems, but SMEs still have the same problem. It is critical for SMEs to maintain core employees for long term who can directly contribute to the business performance. However, Korean manpower policies for SMEs has mainly focused on hiring new recruits and attracting experienced high caliber employees to SMEs. Relatively, policies for attracting in-house employees to work for longer term were insufficient. This paper focuses on providing strategic policy options to make core employees stay in the company for longer term. For this, it identifies the concept and features of core employees and reviews the necessity of introducing the Mutual Aid Project. Also, it suggests the way to enhance the effectiveness of policy by analyzing current Mutual Aid Fund programs in Korea.
Shoulder MRArthrography was performed to get an accurate diagnosis about complex anatomical structure in shoulder joint. We carried out how the changes of anatomical rotations in shoulder joint could bring certain diagnosis effects on MRI images for various shoulder humerus positions; Neutral position, Internal rotation position and External rotation position. In addition, we prepared an aid tool in oder to maintain the right posture of a patient. This aid tool was made by adapting Modeling Design Program. By virtue of this aid, we obtained the following result. Shoulder MR Arthrography by the External rotation position for anatomical structure diagnosis was the most suitable in diagnostic evaluations of important anatomical structures in shoulder joint such as Biceps tendon, Supera-spiatus tendon, Sub-scapularis tendon, Labrum and Sub-acromial space.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of an eight session integrated case management program for improvement of medication adherence, physical function, pain, and depression among medical aid beneficiaries with osteoarthritis. Method: A nonequivalent control group pre-posttest design was employed. Participants were 55 medical aid beneficiaries who agreed to participate in this study, and were assigned to an experimental group (n=28) or control group (n=27). The framework of this research derived from Cox's Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior guided the overall intervention and the components. The program led by a case manager with a medication calendar, motivating interviewing and coaching strategies and collaboration with a pharmacist. Analysis included change in scores, ${\chi}^2$-test, and t-test. Result: The results showed significant increase in medication adherence, physical function and decrease joint pain, joint stiffness and depression in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusion: The eight session integrated case management program indicated an effect on medication adherence, pain, physical function, and depression. Partnership with a pharmacist is recommended for medication adherence and conduct of further studies will be needed in order to determine the long-term effect of an extended integrated program on health outcomes.
Purpose: This study was done to analyze the effects of tele-care case management services using secondary data. Methods: A descriptive research design was utilized, and the participants were 134 medical aid beneficiaries who were in either the high-risk group or the preventive group. Casemanagement services were delivered by 8 care managers. Data were analyzed using PAWS Statistics 17 through descriptive statistics and paired t-test. Results: After the case management intervention, the participants' health quality of life, self-care competency, and reasonable medical care utilization increased significantly for the high-risk group. However there were no significant changes in the preventive group. Conclusion: The results showed that the tele-care case management services were effective for high-risk medical aid beneficiaries. Further studies with controls for constitutional variables and a comparison group are required to validate the robustness of the effectiveness of the case management program in the present study.
