This research was performed to investigate the effect of ageing on grain refinement of 82wt%Cu-13.5wt%Al-4.5wt%Ni-0.1wt% misch metal alloy with ageing temperature and time. The results obtained in this study are as follows; The variation of transformation temperature with ageing temperature had very influence on ageing time at $300^{\circ}C$. But it had not influence on ageing time at $100^{\circ}C$. The variation of transformation temperature after second reversed transformation cycle was not occured in martensitic phase ageing, but $M_s$ point was appeared equally with third reversed transformation cycle in parent phase ageing. The variation of $M_s$ point was not nearly with ageing time at $100^{\circ}C$ ageing temperature. But it was decreasing with ageing time at $300^{\circ}C$ ageing temperature and $A_s$ point was increasing with ageing time. Structure of parent phase ageing was being M18R martensitic and N2H martensitic phase. It was found that ${\alpha}$ and ${\gamma}_2$ phase were created by ageing of long time at $300^{\circ}C$ ageing temperature.
The strain ageing behaviour of quenched Zircaloy--4 has been studied as a function of ageing time and temperature in the temperature range 523 to 588 K for a short-ageing time of 1 to 52 seconds. At the test conditions, the strain ageing stress increased with ageing time and temperature at a strain rate of 5.55$\times$10$^{-4}$ sec$^{-1}$ . Applying stress on the Quenched Zircaloy-4, the strain ageing effect indicated following two stages: an initial stage having an activation energy of 0.39 ev considered to be due to Snoek type ordering of intersitial oxygen atoms in the stress field of a dislocation and a second stage having an activation energy of 0.60 ev, due to mainly long-range diffusion of oxygen atoms.
The combined effects of electron-beam irradiation and ageing of beef were examined. The irradiated samples at dose of 0 or 2 kGy were kept and analyzed for the microbial growth, shear values, meat color, and nucleotide-related flavor compounds at different ageing temperatures (2, 10, or 25℃) for 8 d. The irradiation effect on inactivation of foodborne pathogens was also investigated. The population of Listeria monocytogenes and E. coli O157:H7 inoculated in beef samples decreased in proportion to the irradiation dose, showing D10 values of 0.66 and 0.65 kGy respectively. The irradiated beef eye of round had lower number of total aerobic bacteria (TAB) than nonirradiated one during the storage, but the TAB increased with higher ageing temperature (p<0.05). Especially, TAB increased sharply in non-irradiated samples aged at 25℃ after 4 d (p<0.05). With increasing ageing temperature and ageing time, shear force values decreased (p<0.05). The color a* values of the irradiated beef were lower than those of the non-irradiated throughout the ageing period (p<0.05). As ageing time and temperature increased, the amounts of inosine monophosphate decreased and the hypoxanthine increased (p<0.05). Relatively high ageing temperature could be used at irradiated beef eye of round to shorten the ageing time.
Moisture and high temperature are the most important factors that lead to the ageing of oil-paper insulation, but the research about space charge characteristics of oil-paper insulation does not take the combined effect of ambient temperature, moisture and thermal ageing into account. The pulsed electroacoustic (PEA) method was used to investigate the influence of moisture and temperature on space charge characteristics of oil paper at different ageing stages. The results showed that moisture could speed up formation of space charge in oil paper when water concentration was low, but the formation was restrained if the water concentration was high. At the beginning of thermal ageing, heterogeneous charge accumulation had predominance, but it gradually changed to homogeneous charge injection with ageing. It was believed that moisture concentration could speed up ageing and enhance charge accumulation on one hand, and accelerate or slow down the establishment speed of space charge on the other hand, therefore, charge accumulation type changed with ageing. The more seriously the oil-paper insulation was thermally aged, the deeper the trap energy level was, hence more space charge was trapped, which could be speeded up by increasing the ageing temperature, but the effect of ambient temperature did not fit the Arrhenius law.
A study of the precipitation process of Al-Li binary alloy at low ageing temperature has been carried by electrical resistivity measurement. Two types of G.P.zones were formed during ageing at low temperature. G.P. (1) zone and G.P. (2) zone have been formed primarily at ageing temperature below $60^{\circ}C$ and at ageing temperature range of $80^{\circ}C$ to $100^{\circ}C$, respectively. Therefore the precipitation process of Al-Li binary alloy was as follows; G.P.(1) zone ${\rightarrow}$ G.P.(2) zone ${\rightarrow}{\delta}^{\prime}{\rightarrow}{\delta}$ G.P. (1) zone might be affected by excess vacancies, but G.P. (2) zone might be affected by secondary defects. clusters and Li-vacancy pairs. The activation energy for formation of G.P. (2) zone is 0.87eV. It is lower than that of Al-Cu alloy.
The ageing behavior of Cu-bearing HSLA steels was studied by using Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), Transmission electron microscopy and hardness tester. Two heat evolution peaks were observed during DSC scans over the temperature range of 25~590$^{\circ}C$ at a heating rate of 5$^{\circ}C$/min. The peaks appeared in low (241∼319$^{\circ}C$ : HSLA-A, 224∼310$^{\circ}C$ : HSLA-B) and high temperature (514∼590$^{\circ}C$ : HSLA-A, 451∼558$^{\circ}C$ : HSLA-B) are attributed to the formation of coherent Cu-clusters and noncoherent $\varepsilon$-Cu phase, respectively. It was confirmed that as ageing proceeds, the coherent bcc Cu-clusters transform to noncoherent fcc $\varepsilon$-Cu phase. In the case of the ageing to peak hardness at 300$^{\circ}C$ and 400$^{\circ}C$, the coherent Cu-clusters contributed to the hardening. As ageing time and temperature increase over peak hardness, noncoherent $\varepsilon$-Cu are formed and hardness decreases.
The effects of ageing treatment on the mechanical properties of two Cu-bearing HSLA(High Strength Low Alloy) steels, HSLA-A and HSLA-B ,were studied by means of SEM, TEM, tensile, charpy impact and hardness tests. These steels showed excellent combination in strength and toughness at an ageing of $650^{\circ}C$ by the precipitation of $\varepsilon$-Cu and low carbon alloying. The peak strength was achieved at an ageing of 50$0^{\circ}C$ in both steels, while the impact energy was very low in this peak strength. With ageing temperature above this temperature, strength was decreased whereas impact energy increased. A marked increase in hardness above 675$^{\circ}C$ was associated with the formation of “M-A constituents” which forms during cooling from austenite-ferrite two phase region. The impact transition temperature of HSLA-A and HSLA-B steels were -l$25^{\circ}C$ and -145$^{\circ}C$, respectively.

In this paper, ageing diagnostics in the large capacity oil transformer are investigated. Following items are investigated for the ageing diagnostic in transformer oils (leakage current of sensor, power consumption and temperature of transformer oil). All temperature data are gathered from daily report in the substation. The power consumption of transformer are gathered output report of APIS(Airport Power Information System). Especially, data of sensor leakage current are accumulated from the online diagnostic system for transformer oil. The temperature of transformer oils major change factor was ambient temperature and capacity of power load. The leakage current are change by oil temperature. The leakage current ware not more than 2 [nA] in summer,
The strain ageing behavior of cold-worked Zircaloy-4 in vacuum was studied as a function of deformation temperature and oxygen content from 1143 ppm to 3500 ppm 0. Strain ageing occured in the temperature range between 200 and 45$0^{\circ}C$ for the 0 to 10% cold-worked Zircaloy-4, decreasing with increasing amount of cold work. This suppression of strain ageing by cold work is considered to be due to the trapping of oxygen atoms by cold work-produced defects. It has been found that the maximum strain ageing stress in cold-worked Zircaloy-4 is proportional to the square root of oxygen content.

This study presents the thermal stress characteristics of TL porcelain insulators(healthy and ageing) by the accelerating thermal mechanical ageing test with forced temperature gradient. The test temperature gradient is $95^{\circ}C(-35{\sim}60^{\circ}C)$, it was focused to high temperature thermal stress as compared with IEC 60575 standard. There was no a discrimination in the case of healthy aluminous porcelain insulators, dissimilarly in crystoballite insulators according to this test method. It was indicated that the long tenn reliability by thermal stress was conformed reasonably through the conventional accelerating ageing test methods.
