This study aims to identify subgroups of ageism among young adults of age 20-39, and to examine its relationship to perceptions of generational conflict and elderly welfare policy. Latent Profile Analysis(LPA) was applied on the data 'Survey on Age Integration and Generational Integration', which was executed by institute for Age Integration Researchof Ewha Womans university, and descriptive statistics and cross-tabulation analysis were performed to examine the socio-demographic characteristics of each subgroup. Then, regression analysis was performed to observe the effect of the subgroups on the perceptions of generational conflict and elderly welfare policy. The results are as follows. The resulting subgroups of ageism among young adults were 'compound perception on aging and active age discrimination', 'medium-level aging anxiety and passive age discrimination', and 'low-level aging anxiety and beyond age discrimination'. Subgroups of ageism affected both perceptions of generational conflict and elderly welfare policy, whereas social support only affected perception of elderly welfare policy. Based on the results, political implications, such as activation of education on perception on aging, expansion of generational exchange for age integration, and renewal of social atmosphere for intergenerational coexistence, which will promote social integration
This study aimed at empirically analysing the double discrimination on the elderly with disabilities due to both age and disabilities in the labor market. To achieve this research goal, real employment probabilities and hourly wages of the elderly disabled(below "ED") were compared with those of the young disabled(below "YD") and those of the elderly non-disabled(below "END") to calculate empirical differentials between ED's and YD's, and ED's and END's. The differential decompositions between groups were applied by the Oaxaca(1973). The study results were as followings. First, the real gaps of the employment probabilities between ED and YD only appeared at the regular jobs and the gaps due to the characteristics between ED and YD were bigger than those due to the age discrimination. Second, on the contrary, the gaps of the hourly wages were caused by age discrimination more than characteristics between YD and ED. Third, it was not true that the elderly with disabilities take double discriminations in the labor market. It is therefore required to give the additional incentives to ED workers with government subsidies of employment promotion for the disabled provided. Second, it is proposed that the integrations the employment policies for the disabled with those for the aged because the disability as dependent valuable didn't have statistically significant effects on the employment probabilities and the hourly wage levels.
The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of the phonological discrimination ability and phonological working memory of 10 typically developing children aged 4, and 10 other children with Specific Language Impairments whose language age is similar. In orders to compare their phonological discrimination ability among phonological awareness, discrimination tasks were conducted at the syllable and phoneme levels. Also, in order to compare their phonological working memory, the subjects repeated nonsense syllables. The research results may be summarized as follows: First, the children with Specific Language Impairments demonstrated a lower performance than the typically developing children in phonological discrimination ability at both syllable and phoneme levels, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant. Second, the children with Specific Language Impairments exhibited a lower phonological working memory performance in all syllables compared with normal children. Although there was no significant difference in 2 and 3 syllables, a significant difference appeared as the length of the syllables became longer from 4 to 6 syllables. It is deemed necessary to conduct research into qualitative and quantitative differences through an formal assessment of the phonological awareness and phonological working memory of children with Specific Language Impairments.

Somatotypes in the lower torso and legs of adult females were classified and discriminated. Then their distribution according to the age groups was studied. The subjects were 343 females of 18 to 49 year-old. 36 anthropometric and 21 photographic measurements were taken to each subject. The results were as follows: 1. The somatotypes in the lower torso and legs were classified into 4 types and their differences were shown by analysing factor scores and anthropometric values according to each somatotype. 2. The shape characteristic of tile classified somatotypes was represented by the rating scale of Heath-Carter. 3. The lateral silhouettes of 4 types were compared with balanced type which is type 3 in this study. 4. Individual somatotype in the lower torso and legs could be discriminated from the measured anthropometric data without modifying the data. Anthropometric data, which are needed for discriminating individual somatotype, are waist circumference, posterior waist height, and hip circumference. 5. The distribution of the somatotypes in each age group showed that the dominant somatotype of each age group was different and any somatotype was shown in a specified age group but rarely in other age group.

We statistically analyzed the relationship between the constitution and the thickness and stiffness of skin depending on sex and age, using 1079 clinical data registered to SCIB(Sasang constitution Information Bank), and the following results are obtained : The thickness of skin has big discrimination ability in classification of Taeeumin and Soyangin, especially in women and in ages 21 or more. The stiffness of skin also has big discrimination ability in classification of Taeeumin and Soeumin, especially in Taeumin women and Soeumin man and in ages 21-60. The differences stated above have been proved to be meaningful enough by Chi-square test.

This study was to investigate the dffects of a color reversal visual perceptual training program on spastic cerebral palsied children's figure-ground discrimination disabilities and to investigate the difference between the control group and experimental group. Subjects of the study were composed of children with spastic cerebral palsy whose age varied from five to seven years old, whose I.Q. was over 70 and whose P.Q. was over 70. Implication of this study can be summarized as follows; First, Perceptual training and speech training programs should be emphasized to improve the preparative ability of spastic cerebral palsied children. Problems of perception cerebral palsied children are concerned with figure-ground discrimination disability. Second, Though it was demonstrated that color reversal visual perceptual training program can be effective through the prestudies and this study, more researches should be made to apply this kind of theory in real education environments. More interest in different color forms for training of cerebral palsied children should be taken. Third, Reprecations of the study should be considered with modified group identities(age, I.Q., P.Q.).
Recently, the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT has been increasing in various fields such as interactive commerce and mobile financial services. However, LMMs, which are mainly created by learning existing documents, can also learn various human biases inherent in documents. Nevertheless, there have been few comparative studies on the aspects of bias and discrimination in LLMs. The purpose of this study is to examine the existence and extent of nine types of discrimination (Age, Disability status, Gender identity, Nationality, Physical appearance, Race ethnicity, Religion, Socio-economic status, Sexual orientation) in LLMs and suggest ways to improve them. For this purpose, we utilized BBQ (Bias Benchmark for QA), a tool for identifying discrimination, to compare three large-scale language models including ChatGPT, GPT-3, and Bing Chat. As a result of the evaluation, a large number of discriminatory responses were observed in the mega-language models, and the patterns differed depending on the mega-language model. In particular, problems were exposed in elder discrimination and disability discrimination, which are not traditional AI ethics issues such as sexism, racism, and economic inequality, and a new perspective on AI ethics was found. Based on the results of the comparison, this paper describes how to improve and develop large-scale language models in the future.
K-Ar dating system of Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) was installed in 1997 and has been used since then. The system consists of high temperature graphite furnace, gas purification system, and mass spectrometer with data acquisition system. K-Ar age is determined by the measurement of the concentrations of Ar and K through isotope dilution method using $^{38}Ar$ as spike and flame spectroscopy, respectively. The accuracy and reliability for the K-Ar age are checked using the several K-Ar standard materials. Although the exact age determination for young samples of less than 1 Ma is hampered by small fluctuations of sensitivity and mass discrimination, the present system yields the reliable K-Ar age compared to the standard materials of Tertiary and Mesozoic age. The measurements for the SORI93 biotite with the recommended K-Ar age of $92.6\pm$0.6 Ma and Bern4M muscovite of $18.5\pm$0.6 Ma yield the reliable age of $92.1\pm$1.1 Ma and $17.8\pm$0.2 Ma, respectively.

The purpose of this study is to develop the systematic process on the discrimination of Sasang constitution with the pulse diagnosis apparatus. The pulse waves were acquired at the right and the left Guan point with 1420 people who were apparently healthy. In order to minimize the effect of aging on the shape of pulse wave, the age groups of 30s, 40s, and 50s were used. Taeum group was the best to classify, Soyang group was the worst. With the same group size, the sensitivity of Soyang group was increased. Input variables were selected with the consideration of the floating-sink ratio, tests of equality of group means, multiple comparison, multicollinearity, and structure matrix. To increase the sensitivity of Soyang, the variables which could tell the difference between Soyang and Soeum were selected.
