The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting stress and adaptation in newborn congenital heart disease patients of parents. Data were obtained through questionnaires from 181 newborn congenital heart disease inpatients of parents from P university in Y city. The data were analyzed SPSS 18.0, using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Stress was negative correlated with level of patents adaptation. Social support, marital communication and family cohesion were positive correlated with level of patents adaptation. The explained variances for patents adaptation were 45.2% and factors affecting patients adaptation were congenital heart disease, family cohesion, stress, social support and marital communication. Educational intervention program for parents of newborn with congenital heart disease, reduce stress, and to increase the adaptation will be developed.

PURPOSES : The objective of this study is to analyze factors affecting traffic accident severity for determining countermeasures on freeway climbing lanes. METHODS : In this study, an ordered probit model, which is a widely used discrete choice model for categorizing crash severity, was employed. RESULTS : Results suggest that factors affecting traffic accident severity on climbing lanes include speed, drowsy driving, grade of uphill 3%, gender (male offender and male victim), and cloud weather. CONCLUSIONS : Several countermeasures are proposed for improving traffic safety on freeway climbing lanes based on the analysis of crash severity. More extensive analysis with a larger data set and various modeling techniques are required for generalizing the results.

In order to establish a method predicting susceptible cows to the parturient syndrome, various serum chemical parameters (calcium, phosphorus, Ca/P, magnesium, cholesterol, total protein, albumin, globulin, A/G, total lipid, non-esterified fatty acid(NEFA) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)) were measured during late pregnancy and their relationships with periparturient diseases were investigated during puerpural period. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The factors affecting the prediction of susceptible cows to parturient syndrome were calcium, magnesium, total protein, globulin, A/G ratio and total lipid at 30 day antepartum and the diagnosability was 70.7%. 2. In the experimental cows producing more than 21kg of milk per day, the factors affecting the prediction of susceptible cows to parturient syndrome were calcium, NEFA and A/G ratio at 30 day antepartum and the diagnosability was 66.7%. 3. In the experimental cows calved more than 3 times, the factors affecting the perdiction of susceptible cows to parturient syndrome were calcium, total protein, albumin and NEFA at 30 day antepartum and the diagnosability was 83.3%.

Background: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the depressive mood experience of adults in their 20s. Methods: This study is a descriptive survey that conducted a secondary analysis using data from the 2017 Community Health Survey, which is conducted annually in Korea. The study targets 21,324 adults in their 20s. Data analysis was conducted after creating a composite sample plan file that reflected layering variables, colony variables, and weights. Results: Factors affecting the depressive mood experience were suicide thought experience, subjective stress level, gender, monthly household income, smoking status, subjective health level, breakfast status, participation in social activities, and whether the Internet, games, and smartphone interfered with daily life (p<0.05). Conclusion: It is necessary to establish and realize a system that enables early detection and support of depression and suicide high-risk groups at the individual, home, community, and national levels.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate NICU nurses' nursing interventions for pain and factors affecting nursing interventions for pain. Methods: Participants were 120 NICU nurses from 5 university hospitals located in Daejeon Metropolitan City and Chungcheong Province. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan test, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis with SPSS Windows 23.0 IBM program. Results: The factors affecting nursing interventions for pain included knowledge about non-pharmacological nursing interventions for pain and self-efficacy about nursing interventions for pain. These variables explained 28.3% of nursing interventions for pain. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop education programs in which effective nursing interventions for neonatal pain are considered. The programs should be made available to NICU nurses.

The increased investment in technological innovations makes the investigation of factors affecting technology adoption more interesting. Several perspectives have been proposed to explain the determinants of information technology adoption. While the traditional innovation diffusion research streams try to explain and predict adoption behavior with the adopter's perceptions about the characteristics of the innovation itself, critical mass theorists argue that adoption behavior as a collective action is based on what their business partners are doing and whether there exists enough critical mass to justify the investment. Drawing on theses two perspectives, this study investigates the decision criteria in the adoption of information technology as innovation and factors affecting the decision criteria. The survey results reveal that the adoption behavior is affected both by innovation characteristics and by critical mass's activity. Correlation analysis, t-test, and stepwise regression models also show that as the environmental uncertainty is getting higher, adoption decision is affected more by what others are doing, and that highly competitive organizations seem to play the role of critical mass.

The objective of the study to investigate factors affecting consumers' consumption extension toward environment-friendly agricultural products in Suncheon city. The main results of the analysis are as follows. First, the main reason that consumers purchase environment-friendly agricultural products is "concerns of pesticides." Second, NAQS is highly trusted of a certificate institution. Third, the results show that consumers is satisfied such as safety, freshness, nutrition, whereas price, package design and taste are dissatisfied. Fourth, the factors affecting increase in the consumption of environmental-friendly agricultural products, have been analyzed in the variables noted of whether Sex, marital status, purchase experience, Private Certificate Authority faulty.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting Visual Display Terminal (VDT) syndrome for elementary school students in the digital learning environment. Multiple regression analyses were performed to identify the factors affecting VDT syndrome in the digital learning environment. This was conducted with 256 elementary school students in grades 5-6 with more than a year of experience in digital learning. The regression model explained 41% of elementary school students' VDT syndrome in the digital learning environment. Variables significantly affecting VDT syndrome include game addiction, sleep time, and air quality with game addiction as the most influential. In the digital learning environment, VDT syndrome is significant because it has physical and psychological impacts on the growth of elementary school students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop guidelines for ideal computer usage habits for this age group.

Purposes: This study aims to identify factors affecting dental university hospitals' profitability and understand recent their business condition. Methodology: Data from 2016 to 2019 was collected from financial statement, public open data in 8 dental university hospitals. For the study, multiple regression test with stepwise selection was applied. Findings: First of all, 9 out of 19 independent variables were selected by stepwise selection. As a result of multiple regression test with selected independent variables and the dependent variable(operating profit margin ratio), the factors affecting hospitals' profitability were the number of dental unit chair, hospital location, debt ratio, total capital turnover ratio, employment cost rate, material cost rate, management expense rate, the number of patient per a dentist. Practical Implication: To improve dental university hospitals' profitability, hospitals specifically analysis and manage their cost such as employment, material and management cost and seek effectiveness by managing the proper number of patient per a dentist.

Purpose This study aims to empirically analyze which factors affect image and preference of YouTube beauty channels. Some practical and academic implications are presented through empirical research. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, the six affecting factors were suggested on the basis of previous studies. We proposed image quality, user attitude, empirical value, economics, and awareness as independent variables and channel image and channel preference as dependent variables in order to investigate the causal relationships among the research variables. We surveyed 311 users who had experience in using YouTube Beauty channel and analyzed the data by using a statistical package. Findings This study showed that the channel image has a partial mediating effect between the affecting variables and the channel preference. The results provided some insights and information to increase the number of subscribers and site views. Several suggestions were carefully made.
