In this writing, issued beauty as Hyangga(향가) creative motivation into the focus, its expression modality is discussed and then an aesthetic sense of Sil-la is considered. For its research, in "Samkukyusa"("삼국유사") some Hyangga - , , , - that have phraseologies for beauty meaning are choose for the discuss. 본 논문은 데이비드 린치 감독의 첫 작품 <이레이저 헤드>에 나타난 추(醜)의 미에 관한 연구를 목적으로 한다. 먼저 배경 연구로, 미의 역사에서 '추'가 등장한 역사를 고찰하고, 미학적인 관점에서 '추'가 어떤 의미를 지니는지 논의한다. 이어서 '추'에 관하여 심도 있는 논의를 전개한 미학자 로젠크란츠의 '추'의 미학 이론을 살펴보고, 이와 유사하거나 다른 측면의 의견들에 대해서도 짚어볼 것이다. 끝으로 현대 영화에서 추의 미가 적용되는 미적 양상을 논증하기 위해 데이비드 린치의 영화 '이레이저 헤드'의 특정 사운드를 구체적으로 분석하고 이미지와의 관계를 고찰한다. 본고는 이상의 논의를 통하여 영화라는 분야에서 미적 범주로서 '추'가 지니는 미학적 의미를 새롭게 조명하고자 한다.

This essay exams the issues of aesthetic elements that come up when Korean novels get translated into Chinese language. The short story collection titled "An old well" written by Jeong Heui Oh in both languages are compared and analyzed by focusing on the mode of narrations. There are various narrative modes in "An old well". Each narrative mode properly functions for aesthetic effects and drawing meanings. In short, we can find a way to grasp its leitmotif the writer wants to indicate only when we carefully interpret the narrative modes in the original text. However, the narrative modes in Korean text have been simplified by changing its modes into direct narrative in Chinese-translated text. Thus the aesthetic effects in the original text have been spoiled and the Chinese text fails to deliver its meaning involved in the original narrative mode. Translation of novel invites consideration on both of its form and content on account of the text's uniqueness. Accordingly, a close examination and study of the original text should be completed beforehand.

본 연구의 목적은 도박을 중점으로 부정적 담론에 놓여진 우연놀이의 미학적 가치에 대해 조명하는 것에 있다. 우연놀이는 병리학적 해석을 중심으로 본연의 가치를 온당히 평가받지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 우연놀이의 미학적 가치에 대해 객관적으로 조명하기 위해 디지털이라는 미디어의 변화 관점에서 우연놀이를 조망하고 도박과 분별되는 의의를 탐구하고자 한다. 디지털 우연놀이에서 무작위성을 발생시키는 RNG 메커니즘이 아날로그 메커니즘과 가지는 차이가 무엇인지 살피고 이로 인해 우연놀이 미학체계에 어떠한 변화가 발생하는지 규명하고자 한다.

A criticism model for dress was developed to offer a methodological insight into research on aesthetics of dress. Concepts from Edmund B. Feldman's art criticism model, James D. Carney's style-relative model of art criticism, and Sung Bok Kim's fashion criticism model were borrowed and integrated to create a criticism model for dress, comprising identification of styles, descriptive features, aesthetic value features, external interpretation, socio-cultural interpretation, and evaluation. Both inductive and deductive approaches for the identification of styles can be made in the process of dress criticism. In the former case, descriptive features and aesthetic features are sequentially identified to locate the styles of dress. In the latter case, styles are identified first, and descriptive features and aesthetic features are identified accordingly. Logical criticisms can be made based on the critics' background knowledge of the history of dress and art.

Although breast implants have been in clinical use for almost 6 decades and have undergone considerable development during this time, implant rupture is still a dreaded long-term complication. Some obvious external factors, such as trauma, can lead to implant rupture, but many studies have reported a high rate of "spontaneous" implant rupture. Herein, we present two cases with the aim of raising awareness of a new possible cause of "spontaneous" implant rupture: mechanical irritation by bony protrusions.

Natural resources managers have considered the landscape without detailed consideration of aesthetic values of the landscape and geomorphological significance of unique landforms. Since EIA system was introduced in 1981, values associated with landscape protection have been neglected at best compared with those values traditionally attributed to environmental protection, including clean air, water quality and species protection. Black top highways are being built without consideration of harmful effects to the sea cliffs. Sea walls and tetrapod are being installed to protect the coastal towns and fish markets for tourist. However, beach itself are experiencing accelerated erosion due to the shortage of proper coastal engineering expertise. Hotels and condominiums are under construction on a massive scale around the national parks, which substitute the scenic ridges with concrete profiles. To protect the scenic beauty of national parks, their design and construction material should be more harmonious with the surroundings. Therefore, visual impact assessment should be applied both within the national park boundary and beyond to enhance the aesthetic values of national parks.
