  • This article analyzes the state and development of multimedia technologies in the educational process. The reasons for the emergence of multimedia educational technologies are shown. The definition of the concept of "multimedia education" is given. The advantages and disadvantages of teaching using multimedia technologies are presented. The article, based on multimedia technologies, provides one of the ways to solve the problem of lack of classroom time for the presentation of all educational material in the process of teaching engineering students. The creation and application of educational videos in education is discussed, an example of teaching electrical engineering is given; the requirements for the development of video lessons, their advantages and importance in the educational process are indicated.

  • For high-quality education of the modern generation of students, forms of organizing the educational process and the latest methods of obtaining knowledge that differ from traditional ones are necessary. The importance of multimedia teaching tools is shown, which are promising and highly effective tools that allow the teacher not only to present an array of information in a larger volume than traditional sources of information, but also to include text, graphs, diagrams, sound, animation, video, etc. in a visually integrated form. Approaches to the classification of multimedia learning tools are revealed. Special features, advantages of multimedia, expediency of use and their disadvantages are highlighted. A comprehensive analysis of the capabilities of multimedia teaching tools gave grounds for identifying the didactic functions that they perform. Several areas of multimedia application are described. Multimedia technologies make it possible to implement several basic methods of pedagogical activity, which are traditionally divided into active and passive principles of student interaction with the computer, which are revealed in the article. Important conditions for the implementation of multimedia technologies in the educational process are indicated. The feasibility of using multimedia in education is illustrated by examples. Of particular importance in education are game forms of learning, in the implementation of which educational elements based on media material play an important role. The influence of the game on the development of attention by means of works of media culture, which are very diverse in form and character, is shown. The importance of the role of multimedia in student education is indicated. In the educational process of multimedia students, a number of educational functions are implemented, which are presented in the article. Recommendations for using multimedia are given.

  • Most common web or application system architectures have central network. As a result, central network can be supervised and controlled in all situation. And It has the advantage of easy to manage and fast to work. However, central network have a disadvantage of weak to security and unclear. In particular, many institutions used by web system be has many problems by central network. In this paper, we proposed blokchain technology based on ethereum to resolve of problem and trading structure that arise in cental network. We propose a decentralized application based on points including cryptocurrency functions and smart contract to the advantages of blockchain with a decentralized structure. The results of the performance experiment are as follows; It has shown the advantages of reliable use and security in a variety of environments(Windows, Ubuntu, Mac).

  • In the field of artistic creation, the iterative development of AI-generated video software has pushed the boundaries of multimedia content creation and provided powerful creative tools for non-professionals. This paper extensively examines two leading AI-generated video software, PIKA Labs and RUNWAY, discussing their functions, performance differences, and application scopes in the video generation domain. Through detailed operational examples, a comparative analysis of their functionalities, as well as the advantages and limitations of each in generating video content, is presented. By comparison, it can be found that PIKA Labs and RUNWAY have excellent performance in stability and creativity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to comprehensively elucidate the operating mechanisms of these two AI software, in order to intuitively demonstrate the advantages of each software. Simultaneously, this study provides valuable references for professionals and creators in the video production field, assisting them in selecting the most suitable tools for different scenarios, thereby advancing the application and development of AI-generated video software in multimedia content creation.

  • Recently, MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) has started a new standardization activity called MPEG Multimedia Middleware (M3W). This activity covers the standardization for a middleware rrith a set of APIs. The standard middleware, called M3W, will support independent multimedia applications for hardware and software such as operating systems so that the portability and interoperability of multimedia applications are greatly improved. In this article, we will introduce the recent works on M3W standardization including the rationale that motivates the activity with the advantages of having the standardized middleware for multimedia application, component technologies being considered for the M3W, and the current status of the standardization.

스마트폰으로 검출된 객체의 음성합성 시스템 (Speech Synthesis System for Detected Objects by Smart Phone)

  • This paper designs an application for detecting various objects using a smart phone with camera sensor, then implements the application that detects the number of faces in front of a user by using the Face API provided by android and generates a speech to the user. For implementing the application, the GoF strategy pattern is applied to design the application. It provides some advantages; first, the algorithm development schedule can separate the whole application development schedule; next, it makes easier to add the algorithm. For example, another detecting algorithm for the other objects (character, motion detection) that may be developed in the future, or it may be replaced by a more high-performance algorithm. With the propose method, a general smart phone can make some advantages that can provide information of various objects (such as moving people and objects, and detected character from signboards) to the person who is visually impaired.

  • With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, there is an increasing variety of methods for creating 3D models. These include innovations such as text-only generation, 2D images to 3D models, and combining images with cue words. Each of these methods has unique advantages, opening up new possibilities in the field of 3D modeling. The purpose of this study is to explore and summarize these methods in-depth, providing researchers and practitioners with a comprehensive perspective to understand the potential value of these methods in practical applications. Through a comprehensive analysis of pure text generation, 2D images to 3D models, and images with cue words, we will reveal the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods, as well as their applicability in different scenarios. Ultimately, this study aims to provide a useful reference for the future direction of AI modeling and to promote the innovation and progress of 3D model generation technology.

  • 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어라는 기술적 속성에 기반한 정보 전달매체로서의 활용 방법에 관한 연구 내용들의 고찰을 통해 커뮤니케이션 효과에 영향을 미치는 매체의 작용을 알고, 통합적 심볼 시스템의 멀티미디어가 갖는 효과와 이에 따른 디자인 문제 및 인테페이스 디자인의 매체 선택을 위한 접근방향을 모색하였다. 내용전달의 인지적 효과에서 나타나는 서로 다른 매체들간의 차이는 매체의 여러 수준별 속성들로부터 이해될 수 있는데, 지각 단계에서의 물리적 특성에서부터 심볼 시스템에 의한 보다 지적인 작용 결과까지를 포함한다. 멀티미디어 정보는 통합적 매체 활용과 상호작용의 특성으로부터 가능한 정보 전달상의 여러 장점과 함께 인지적 과부하와 혼란 등의 부정적 측면을 가짐으로써 이에 대한 체계적 접근을 요구한다. 본 연구에서는 이 같은 맥락에서 매체 선택의 주요 요소를 파악하고 인터페이스 구성 요소와의 연관성을 모색하였다. 주어진 요구나 상황에 보다 적합한 매체의 선택을 위해서는 사용자 요소로서 ${\circled1}$배경적 요인 ${\circled2}$내용영역.시스템에 대한 지식/사용빈도/전문성, 내용 요소로서 ${\circled1}$과제 특성 ${\circled2}$목표.지식유형, 매체 요소로서 ${\circled1}$표현형식 ${\circled2}$상호작용형식 등을 고려해야 한다. 그리고 매체 요소는 각종 표현 요소들이 결정됨으로써 인터페이스 디자인의 구체적 특질을 결정하게 된다.

  • RAIM techniques based on TLS have rarely born addressed because TLS requires a great number of computations. In this paper, the special form of the observation matrix H, that is, one column is exactly known, is exploited so as to develop a new TLS-based sequential algorithm to identify an errant satellite. The algorithm makes us enjoy the advantages of TLS with less computational burden. The proposed algorithm is verified through a numerical simulation.
