  • English article has been considered as one of the most difficult areas to learn among ESL/EFL students. The current paper reviews English learners' article error patterns as well as pedagogy in order to teach English articles and to minimize learning difficulties on English articles. Different pedagogy for English articles on the basis of learners' proficiency levels are suggested as each proficiency level student shows a different error tendency; beginning level language learners used the zero article with the most facility while intermediate level language learners used the definite article the most accurately. However, studies about high advanced level learners' error patterns present that these high accuracy rates among beginning level students might be a result of students' plain guessing. Considering these error patterns, pedagogy for advanced level is also suggested.

  • The purpose of this paper IS to investigate the aspects of errors of English stress by Korean students. In this experimental study, 17 students participated and read 120 words which are divided into three types-the beginning, the middle, and the advanced-according to the level of words. As a result of acoustical judgement, there were a greater number of errors In the advanced level of words, and the more syllables the words have, the more errors occurred, tins means Korean students who learn English as a second language have trouble realizing the right stress in words with larger numbers of syllables and the more advanced level. Furthermore it is interesting that Korean students imposed the primary stress on the second syllable when producing words with stress in the first, third and forth syllables.

  • In order to increase an efficiency of electric machine, the power electric devices are rapidly increasing of late. These electric components are mainly caused to lower of power quality. To take precautions against lower of power quality, the advanced countries already made effort to control of harmonic level. For these harmonic control of advanced countries have applied harmonic planning level, emission of harmonic based on the technical calculation and experiment. In this paper, we have investigated the introduction abroad advanced country standard through compared IEEE, IEC with the real measurement of domestic harmonic level.

  • Four rumen fistulated Murrah buffaloes were used to study the effect of four diets differing in roughage to concentrate ratio on rumen biochemical changes, microbial enzyme profile and in sacco degradability of feed in a $4{\times}4$ Latin Square design. The animals were fed four diets consisting of 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 and 50:50 ratios of wheat straw and concentrate mixtures, respectively. Wheat straw and concentrate mixture were mixed with water (0.6 l/kg feed) and complete feed mixture was offered to the animals at 8:00 h and 16:00 h in two equal parts. The variation in pH of rumen liquor (difference of maximum and minimum during 0-8 h post feeding) increased with increasing level of concentrate mixture in the diet. There was no effect of diet composition on volatile fatty acids, total nitrogen and trichloro-acetic acid precipitable nitrogen in the rumen liquor, but ammonia nitrogen increased with increasing level of concentrate mixture in the ration. Major portions of all fibre degrading enzymes were present in the particulate material (PM) of the rumen contents, but protease was absent in PM fraction. The activities of micro-crystalline cellulase, acetyl esterase and protease increased with increase in the level of concentrate mixture, but the activities of other enzymes (carboxymethylcellulase, filter paper degrading activity, xylanase, $\beta$-glucosidase and $\beta$-xylosidase) were not affected. The in sacco degradability and effective degradability of feeds increased with increasing level of concentrate mixture in the ration.

  • This paper has proposed a $0.13-{\mu}m$ CMOS RF Front-end transmitter for LTE-Advanced systems. The proposed RF Front-end supports a band 7 (from 2500 MHz to 2570 MHz) in E-UTRA of 3GPP. It can provide a maximum output power level of +10 dBm but it's a normal output power level is +0 dBm considering a low PAPR. The post-layout simulation results show that the quadrature up-conversion mixer and a driver amplifier consumes 14 mA and 28 mA from a 1.2 V supply voltage respectively, while providing a output power level of 0 dBm at the input power level of -13 dBm.

  • Conventional active-clamp forward converter shows good performance in low power applications, however it suffers from a high voltage stress of switch and is not suitable for high input voltage applications. To solve this problem, a new multi-level active-clamp forward converter is proposed in this paper. Utilizing low rating switches, the proposed converter features high efficiency and low cost promising for high input voltage applications.
