사회적 평가 지표를 반영한 도시 홍수취약성 평가 (A Study on Urban Flood Vulnerability Assessment Considering Social Impact)

  • This study aims to establish an approach to assess urban flood vulnerability by identifying social characteristics such as the road transportation and the vulnerable groups. Assessment procedures comprise three steps as: (1) composing the assessment criteria to reflect the urban characteristics; (2) calculating the weight; and (3) evaluating the vulnerability. The criteria were adopted by Delphi survey technique. Four criteria as land cover, residents, vulnerable areas, and disaster response were adopted in the current study. To determine the weight set of criteria, subjective and objective methods were combined. The weight set was determined using the combined method which reflects the Delphi method and Entropy analysis. In the process of data-based construction, GIS tools wwere used to extract administrative unit materials such as land cover, road status, and slope. Data on population and other social criteria were collected through the National Statistical Office and the Seoul Metropolitan statistical data. TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) technique, which uses materials from cell units in order to rank the closest distance to the best case and the farthest distance from the worst case by calculating the distances to the area of assessment, was applied to assess. The study area was the Dorimcheon basin, a flood special treatment area of Seoul city. The results from the current study indicates that the established urban flood vulnerability assessment approach is able to predict the inherent vulnerable factors in urban regions and to propose the area of priority control.

도시녹지 미세먼지 조절 서비스 수요와 공급의 공간적 차이 분석 - 수원시를 대상으로 - (Spatial Analysis on Mismatch Between Particulate Matter Regulation Services Supply and Demand in Urban Area - A Case Study of Suwon -)

  • Urban green spaces supply ecosystem services (ESs), which are consumed by city residents and generate demand, to improve air quality. It is important to determine supply and demand for ESs and reduce the gap for efficient management. This study proposed a method to use the concept of supply and demand for ESs in the decision-making process for urban planning or management. PM10 concentrations were converted to weight for demand assessment on PM10 reduction, and PM10 absorption capacity of all green spaces including the forests, and that of urban green spaces excluding forests, was calculated for each supply assessment. The differences in the calculated supply and demand were analyzed to derive the mismatched regions in Suwon. As a result, regions with big forested areas showed sufficient supply, indicating that the degree of mismatch among administrative neighborhoods (dong) varied greatly depending on whether they had a forest. An analysis of only urban green spaces showed that all neighborhoods lacked supply. Forests with high PM10 absorption capacity had a great effect, but urban green spaces can be considered a key element in reducing PM10 in daily life. Considering the mismatch of supply and demand, spatial distribution, and population distribution, it is possible to prioritize the supply of urban green spaces to reduce PM10 and, furthermore, support decision making for priority zones subject to forest conservation and designation and cancellation of green spaces, which gives significance to this study.

다중이용업소의 화재예방을 위한 빅데이터 기반의 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory study on the based on big data for fire prevention of multiple shops)

  • 본 연구는 다수의 인명피해가 우려되는 다중이용업소의 화재예방을 위하여 국민안전처의 예방소방행정 통계자료와 소방청의 국가화재정보센터 데이터를 기반으로 다중이용업소의 화제를 줄일 수 있는 방안에 대해 탐색적으로 접근을 시도하였다. 본 연구는 소방청의 예방소방행정 통계자료를 활용하여 다중이용업소 소방안전교육의 효과성에 초점을 맞추고 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 소방안전교육이 실제 화재예방에 있어서 실효성을 가지지 못한다는 것을 유추해낼 수 있었다. 선행 연구들을 통해 그 원인이 소방안전교육의 운영 미흡이라는 것을 찾아내었으며 이를 통해 체계적인 소방안전교육 시스템 개발이라는 개선안을 도출하였다.

Comparison of flood inundation simulation between one- and two-dimensional numerical models for an emergency action plan of agricultural reservoirs

  • The frequency of typhoons and torrential rainfalls has increased due to climate change, and the concurrent risk of breakage of dams and reservoirs has increased due to structural aging. To cope with the risk of dam breakage, a more accurate emergency action plan (EAP) must be established, and more advanced technology must be developed for the prediction of flooding. Hence, the present study proposes a method for establishing a more effective EAP by performing flood and inundation analyses using one- and two-dimensional models. The probable maximum flood (PMF) under the condition of probable maximum precipitation (PMP) was calculated for the target area, namely the Gyeong-cheon reservoir watershed. The breakage scenario of the Gyeong-cheon reservoir was then built up, and breakage simulations were conducted using the dam-break flood forecasting (DAMBRK) model. The results of the outflow analysis at the main locations were used as the basis for the one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) flood inundation analyses using the watershed modeling system (WMS) and the FLUvial Modeling ENgine (FLUMEN), respectively. The maximum inundation area between the Daehari-cheon confluence and the Naeseong-cheon location was compared for each model. The 1D flood inundation analysis gave an area of 21.3 km2, and the 2D flood inundation analysis gave an area of 21.9 km2. Although these results indicate an insignificant difference of 0.6 km2 in the inundation area between the two models, it should be noted that one of the main locations (namely, the Yonggung-myeon Administrative and Welfare Center) was not inundated in the 1D (WMS) model but inundated in the 2D (FLUMEN) model.

Multilevel Analysis of Factors Associated with Perceived Good Health and Multimorbidity among Older Adults: Using the 2017 Community Health Survey

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify individual- and regional-level factors associated with perceived good health and multimorbidity among older adults. Methods: Secondary analysis of the 2017 Korea Community Health Survey was conducted on a sample of 67,532 older adults. The individual level data set was combined with regional-level factors from the administrative data released on the Korea National Statistical Office website. Distribution of perceived good health and multimorbidity in 254 public health centers were calculated using sampling weights and presented as percentages. Multilevel logistic regression analyses were used to identify individual- and regional-level factors associated with perceived good health and multimorbidity. Results: Overall, 21.1% of subjects perceived their health to be good, ranging from 9.3% to 39.4% by region. The prevalence of multimorbidity was 15.9%, and varied between 6.6% and 22.6% by region. At the individual level, perceived good health was associated with men, younger age, higher educational levels, higher income levels, and those married and living with a partner and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. At the regional level, higher rates of health center personnel among public officials and higher levels of financial independence were associated with perceived good health. Multimorbidity was associated with marital status and healthy lifestyle, and higher rates of health center personnel among public officials. Conclusion: Regional factors such as health care personnel and local economy could affect population health. Our findings suggest the need to consider individual- and regional-level factors to promote good health among older adults and reduce the health gap by region.

조선후기 보령현 읍치시설의 위치추정에 관한 연구 (A study on the estimation of the location of government facilities in Boryeong-hyeon in the Late Joseon Dynasty)

  • This study aims to investigate and reveal the spatial structure of Boryeonghyeon by examining the geographical status of its Eupchi (Local administrative center:邑治) through an analysis of the location, tracing locations of governemnt offices including Dongheon(東軒) and Kaeksa(客舍) in the walled town, and checking the lot numbers of Sajikdan(社稷壇), Yeodan(厲壇), and Cheongyeonyeok(靑淵驛) outside it. Buildings of Boryeonghyeon in the walled town in the Joseon Dynasty were almost lost and now, part of the city wall and Haesanru(海山樓) just remains as relic. The walled town consisted of several buildings of government offices as well as Dongheon and Kaeksa which are government organs. Altar and shrine(壇廟) facilities including Shrine of Confucius(文廟), Altar of Land and Grain, and Preceptor's Shrine were placed outside the walled town and Cheongyeonyeok were operated as the facilities for transmission of royal orders. Therefore, the government office facilities in the walled town, altar and shrine facilities outside the fortress, and the location of the post station were required to trace and check each of them. For the checking method, the lot numbers could be checked by checking the original cadastral maps and the then land categories and owners, analyzing the records and circumstances of the relevant township annals(邑誌), and examining analyses on the locations by using a numerical map of one to 5 thousands. The study estimated the locations of government facilities including Dongheon and Kaesa placed in the walled town and was grasped to be the east and west gates with the south gate which remains now in the fortress. And the lot numbers of Sajikdan, Yeodan, Cheongyeonyeok.

  • 정보시스템 개발 프로젝트는 점점 더 규모가 커지고 있고, 개발환경 또한 점점 더 복합해지는 추세 있다. 이러한 정보시스템개발 프로젝트를 성공적으로 관리해 나가는데 있어서 기존의 다양한 관리방법론은 기대하는 성과를 보여주지 못하고 있다. IT 프로젝트를 성공적으로 관리하고 효율적으로 운영하기 위해서는 새로운 접근방법에 대한 고려가 요구되고 있고 이에 따라 다양한 새로운 접근방법들이 제시되어 오고 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 접근방법 중으로 하나로 관심이 높아지고 있는 PMO를 중심으로 한 효율적인 정보시스템 개발과 관련한 PMO의 중요성과 그 활용방안을 실무적인 관점에서 연구하였다. 그 결과로 이 연구는 효율적인 사업추진 체계, 시스템의 주요 요구사항 도출, 시스템 기본 설계 방향 수립, 시스템 구축 범위 수립, 시스템 기본 설계, 시스템 구축 예산 산정 그리고 신 제안요청서 작성 방안을 제시하고 있어서, 사업수행을 성공적으로 끝낼 수 있도록 많은 기여를 한 것으로 예상된다.

지방상수도 서비스의 형평성과 영향요인에 대한 연구 (A study on the equity and influencing factors of local water supply services in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 지구 온난화와 기상이변으로 물의 중요성이 커지는 현실에서 지방상수도 서비스에 주목하고 형평성과 영향요인을 확인하여 결과를 분석하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 전국 152개 지자체를 대상으로 Coulter 모형을 사용하여 평균단가, 요금현실화율, 유수율, 상수도 보급률, 직원 수, 고객만족도 등 6개의 변수에 대해 형평성을 측정한 결과 평균단가의 형평성 수준이 가장 낮았으며 추이 분석 결과 대부분 변수의 형평성이 하락하였다. 또한 토빗회귀분석을 통해 형평성 영향요인을 비형평성 계수에 미치는 영향을 기준으로 확인한 결과, 재정자립도는 모든 변수에서 정(+)의 영향을, 1인당 지방세 부담액은 부(-)의 영향을, 시/군 여부는 고객만족도를 제외한 5가지 계수에 부(-)의 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 상수도 서비스의 형평적 제공을 위해서는 시설개선을 위한 요금 인상 등의 제도 변화가 필요하고, 기후 위기 상황에서 정부와 지자체는 지방상수도의 형평적 공급을 위하여 공급 다변화 방안을 추진해야 함을 정책적 함의로 제시하였다.

Application of Collagenolytic Proteases from Bacillus subtilis B13 and Bacillus siamensis S6 for Tenderizing Goat Meat during Wet Aging

  • This research aimed to assess the effect of collagenolytic proteases from Bacillus subtilis B13 and Bacillus siamensis S6 for tenderizing goat meat during wet aging. Collagenolytic proteases B13 and S6 were prepared at 5 U/mL of collagenolytic activity before injecting into goat meat with 10% (v/w) of initial weight. The control sample was injected with distilled water and used as a negative control. The injected meats were placed in vacuum-sealed bags and wet aged at 4℃ for 0, 3, 5, 7, 14, and 21 days. Thereafter, total aerobic count and physicochemical quality were elucidated. Both enzyme-treated samples from B13 and S6 aged for 5 days showed an acceptable microbial quality with lower than 5.7 Log CFU/g. These conditions produced the tender meats by the reduction in shear force accounting for 30% for B13 and 26% for S6 as compared to the control. Moreover, the enzyme-treated samples showed lower values of hardness, gumminess, and chewiness, with higher springiness and trichloroacetic acid-soluble peptides than the control (p<0.05). The detrimental impact on cooking loss and lipid oxidation was not found. Enzyme-injected meat had a lower cooking loss than the control (p<0.05) with no significant difference in lipid oxidation (p>0.05). Notably, meats treated with B13 and S6 were lower in CIE L* value as compared to the control (p<0.05) with no significant impact on CIE a* and CIE b* (p>0.05). These results suggested that these two collagenolytic proteases could enhance the quality of goat meat in terms of tenderness and reduce the aging time for meat tenderization.

신규 일반음식점 영업자의 위생관리 지식 및 태도 (Knowledge and Attitude on the Restaurant-Related Sanitation of New Restaurateurs)

  • 식품위생에 관한 지식은 식중독의 예방여부, 냉동 냉장식품 보관법, 유통기한 경과 제품처리에 대해서는 조사대상의 87.9%-94.4% 정도가 정확히 알고 있었으나, 식중독의 원인 주요 예방법, 냉장고 보관온도에 대해서는 조사대상의 56.0%-63.0% 정도가 바르게 알고 있었다. 위생지식에 대한 정답률이 낮은 남성, 40대 이외의 연령층, 학력이 낮은, 종업원이 음식조리자인 경우에 대한 지속적인 위생교육이 필요 필요할 것으로 생각되고, 위생교육 미이수자가 위생지식에 대한 정답률이 높은 것으로 보아 교육내용 방법에 대한 개선이 필요하겠다. 위생수준 개선의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 83.6%가, 건강진단의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 78.6%가, 위생교육의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 76.4%가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 위생수준이 미흡한 이유로 영업주의 위생의식이 미흡하여서가 조사대상의 71.6%로 가장 높았고, 개선해야 될 분야에는 업소시설 등 환경위생이 조사대상의 36.7%로 가장 높았다. 위생교육에서 가장 필요한 교육내용으로는 조사대상의 35.7%가 음식의 위생적 품질관리라고 하였고, 29.5%가 전반적인 식품위생의 개요라고 하였으며, 17.7%는 주변환경 및 주방시설의 위생적 취급이라고 응답하였다. 식품위생법 위반시 조사대상의 81.0%는 즉시 시정한다고 응답하였으며, 학력이 높을수록 즉시 시정하겠다는 응답이 많았다. 위생개선을 의해 행정기관에 바라는 점은 조사대상의 73.2%가 시설 및 운영자금지원을 지적하였고, 주기적인 위생교육이 19.3%, 위생공무원의 현지지도가 6.2%였다. 위생실천 실태에서는 위생복 착용률은 31.1%였으며, 조리시에 손을 씻지 않거나 그냥 물로만 씻는 경우가 각각 3.2%, 36.2%였고, 개인위생을 잘 준수한다는 43.7%로서 실천이 제대로 되지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과로 미흡한 식품접객업소의 위생상태 개선을 위해서는 행정기관의 제도적 보완과 금융지원, 영업주의 직업에 대한 자긍심고취, 위생교육기관의 실효성 있는 위생교육프로그램의 개발 및 교육이 집중적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.
