For resource Recycle society, the Ministry of Environment is recently propeling the introduction of MSW(Municipal Solid Waste) pretreatment facilities(MBT) from advanced country such as Germany. On the basis of this, The Ministry of Environment plans to expand all over the country after the adaption of wide area style(Sudokwon landfill : 200 ton/day), urban communities style(Bucheon City : 90 ton/day), Semi-urban(Gangreung City : 150 tons/a day), farm village style (Buan : 30 ton/day).

In this study, we concerned the steel cap and head part arrangement of PHC pile structure to complement existing construction process which have the defects such as highly hazardous circumstance for safety concerns and retard a term of works. The steel cap developed for supplement the stiffness between extend foundation and contact section of PHC pile that is based on structural theory. The experiments have been performed to evaluate the characteristics of behavior between head part of PHC pile using steel cap and extend foundation.

Neural network control has many innovative potentials for intelligent adaptive control. Among many, it promises real time adaption, robustness, fault tolerance, and self-learning which can be achieved with little or no system models. In this paper, a dynamic robot controller has been developed based on a backpropagation neural network. It gradually learns the robot's dynamic properties through repetitive movements being initially trained with a PD controller. Its control performance has been tested on a simulated PUMA 560 demonstrating fast learning and convergence.

위상잠금 열화상에서는 일반적으로 변조된 주파수의 광램프를 쓰고 있다. 하지만 램프의 광도 분포는 입력신호가 평단(flat)특성임에 불구하고 심지어 불균일하여 검사 시편내에 측면 열유동을 만들어낸다. 이러한 열유동은 원치 않는 효과로서 측면의 분해능을 감소시키는 등과 같이 관심 결함구조의 영상에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 본 고에서 검토되는 방식은 열원으로서 LCD 프로젝터와 같은 것을 이용하여 각 가진픽셀에 개별적으로 진동진폭, 광도 오프셋, 위상지연 등을 할당하는 방법에 대한 접근기술이다. 이러한 반복적인 자체학습 과정에 의한 조명 패턴을 통하여 측면 열유동이 제거되고 분해능이 향상되도록 제공하는 것이다.

$Fr{\ddot{a}}nkel$ functional regulator have a complicated design and are of a big bulk. This makes not only the construction of appliance but also the adaption of a patient to the appliance very difficult. Therefore, orthodontic laboratory technicians should be well acquainted with the sequential fabrication procedures involved in the construction of Frankel functional regulators and construct a type most suitable for a specific patient of malocclusion. There are various types of Frankel appliances. Detailed construction procedures of FR II are described here below, which can also be applied for other types for FR appliances.

This paper presents user adaptation methods to overcome limitations of a user-independent model and a user-dependent model in a Korean sign language recognition system. To adapt model parameters for unobserved states in hidden Markov models, we introduce new methods based on motion similarity and prediction from adaptation history so that we can achieve faster adaption and higher recognition rates comparing with previous methods.

The research proposes theoretical recommendations for Smart City that targets elderly citizens. The elderly citizens in question are people currently in their mid-50s to early 60s, in order to adequately employ futuristic technologies into four major sectors: healthcare, post-retirement employment, community-based governance, and environment-friendly infrastructure. The research concludes that the technical application of welfare to the elderlies through constructing a purposeful Smart City is desirable, environmental consideration should come in prior concern as a sustainable foundation.

In resent years, electric power quality has become an important issue in power system. Voltage variation and compensation countermeasures of KEPCO system in west Gyeongnam have been simulated using PSS/E. In this paper, in the abnormal power system, the adaption of SVC, high speed and continuous control are simulated for voltage compensation. It is shown that the SVC is the optimal voltage compensation method in loop power system or 2 lines radial system.

In 2010, Airworthiness standard for VLA(Very Light Airplane) category was newly introduced as KAS Part VLA. KAS Part VLA is an adaption of EASA CS-VLA which was developed to reduce unnecessary burden of manufacturer of very light, simple, single-reciprocating-engine/propeller powered airplanes having low stall speeds by tailoring some requirements of Part 23. In this paper, difference and similarity of structural requirements between Part 23 and VLA was analyzed.

KORMARC used in library bibliographic information, had been pointed several weaknesses such as inflexibility lack of link information and compatibility. In addition, a sudden increase in digital information associated with development of internet is demanding an integration of web resources metadata as the resource of library information. This study mentioned XML/KORMARC system or adaption of XML standard format turned out to be the most efficient way to use KORMARC formats and to expand the range of those information service such as bibliographic information, factual information, referral information and full-text.
