상황정보 적응을 위하여 다형성을 이용한 SOA 웹서비스 구현 방안 (A SOA Web Service Implementation for Adapting to Context Changes using Polymorphism)

  • 본 논문은 웹서비스로 구현되는 상황인식 어플리케이션에서 상황정보에 적응하는 방안으로서 다형성을 적용하여, 웹서비스 통합을 구현하고, 그를 통한 비용 감소의 효과를 보인다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 대두로, 상황인식어플리케이션에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 그에 따른 상황정보 적응성 보장이 주요한 이슈로 등장하고 있다. 상황정보가 꾸준히 변화되어지고, 어플리케이션은 그 변화에 적응해야 하는데, 이때 보다 적은 비용으로 적응성을 해결하려고 하는 노력을 요구된다. 이는 최근 주목을 받는 서비스 기반 아키텍쳐를 통하여 웹서비스 기술을 보다 체계적으로 접근할 수 있다. 웹서비스로 구현되는 상황인식 어플리케이션의 경우, 서비스들의 통합 구현에 상황인식 적응성을 반드시 고려해야 하며, 나아가 보다 적은 비용으로 해결할 수 있는 방안을 요구하게 된다. 본 논문은 객체지향의 다형성 기술을 통하여, 통합 서비스를 구현하는 방안을 제안하고, 구체적인 웹서비스 구현을 분석하여, 제시한 통합 서비스 구현 방안이 적응성을 구현에 어느정도 수행 코드 감소를 가져오는지를 보인다.

  • 본 논문은 광대역 종합정보통선망(B-ISDN)에서의 서비스품질(Quality of Service: QoS)을 다룬다. 분산 멀티미디어 환경에서 QoS 요구사항을 보장하는 문제는 기본적으로 종단간의 관점, 즉 응용과 응용 사이에서의 관점이다. 이러한 응용 계층의 QoS와 망 계층의 QoS 간의 번역에서 주요한 사항은 시스템과 망자원 간의 번역 뿐 아니라 계층 프로토콜과 액세스 절차들 사이에서의 번역 역시 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 단말에서 ATM 적응계층(AAL: ATM Adaptation Layer) QoS와 ATM 망 계층 QoS 간의 번역을 다룬다. AAL 계층은 기본적으로 서비스의 형태에 의존하므로 AAL과 ATM 계층의 QoS 파라미터가 정의되며, AAL과 ATM 계층간의 번역에 초점이 맞추어진다. 예로서 AALI 프로토콜을 사용하는 항등비트율 실시간 보장형 서비스에서의 종단간 ATM 성능 QoS 요구사항을 추출한다.

예비유아교사의 교직선택동기가 진로적응력에 미치는영향 : 자기주도학습의 매개효과 (The Effect of Pre-Service Early Childhood Teachers' Motivation for Choosing Teaching on Career Adaptability: The Mediating Effect of Self-Directed Learning)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사들의 교직선택동기, 진로적응력, 자기주도학습 간의 관계는 어떠한지 알아보며, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기가 진로적응력과의 관계에서 자기주도학습을 매개로 하여 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 부산광역시 소재 예비유아교사 271명을 대상으로 교직선택동기, 진로적응력, 자기주도학습는 어떠한지를 알아보기 위해 기술통계를 실시하였고, 각 변인간의 상관을 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관계수를 구하였고, 중다회귀분석과 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하기 위하여 Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기, 자기주도학습, 진로적응력의 인식에서는 진로적응력, 자기주도학습, 교직선택동기 순으로 높게 나왔다. 둘째, 교직선택동기가 높아질수록 자기주도학습과 진로적응력이 높아지고, 자기주도학습이 높아질수록 진로적응력이 높아지는 정적 상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 자기주도학습은 교직선택동기와 진로적응력을 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 질 높은 유아교사교육을 실천하는데 다양한 관점을 모색하고 유아교사 양성기관의 교사교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

일부 전문대학 치위생과 교육 서비스 품질이 학생만족도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of education service quality on major satisfaction in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of education service quality on major satisfaction in the dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 271 dental hygiene students in Seoul from April 1 to 20, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(6 items), education service quality (27 items), and major satisfaction of students(23 items). The instrument for education service quality was adapted from Parasuraman and modified by Park & Lee. Likert 5 point scale adaptation included physical environment, reliability, responsiveness, certainty, empathy, class professors, administrative facilities, and school activities accessibility. Cronbach's alpha test in the study was 0.956 in education service quality and 0.951 in major satisfaction. Results: The education service quality was 3.1 points. The lower grade students tended to have the higher education service quality (p<0.001). The satisfaction to class professors was 3.2 points. The education service quality had a significant positive relation to major satisfaction. The satisfaction was positively influenced by physical environment, responsiveness, certainty, and empathy. Conclusions: A positive motivation to education service quality leads to major satisfaction. A variety of strategies are very important to enhance the education specialization.

서비스 로봇용 결함 허용 미들웨어 (Fault-Tolerant Middleware for Service Robots)

  • Recently, robot technology is actively going on progress to the field of various services such as home care, medical care, entertainment, and etc. Because these service robots are in use nearby person, they need to be operated safely even though hardware and software faults occur. This paper proposes a Fault-Tolerant middleware for a robot system, which has following two characteristics: supporting of heterogeneous network interface and processing of software components and network faults. The Fault-Tolerant middleware consists of a Service Layer(SL), a Network Adaptation Layer(NAL), a Network Interface Layer(NIL), a Operating System ion Layer(OSAL), and a Fault-Tolerant Manager(FTM). Especially, the Fault-Tolerant Manager consists of 4 components: Monitor, Fault Detector, Fault Notifier, and Fault Recover to detect and recover the faults effectively. This paper implements and tests the proposed middleware. Some experiment results show that the proposed Fault-Tolerant middleware is working well.

Broadcasting and Communication Convergent Network Based on MPEG-21: Design and Implementation of Multimedia Service Framework

  • In this paper, we present a practical implementation of the MPEG-21 multimedia framework for broadcasting and communication convergent services. MPEG-21 standard technology was exploited to build a convergent service framework. Using this framework, a service model and several scenarios have been successfully designed and implemented. In addition, interoperability, which is the main objective of a multimedia framework, especially in a convergent environment consisting of heterogeneous networks and various types of devices, has been addressed in detail. The experimental results show that the implemented test bed provides a next-generation multimedia service; that is, universal multimedia access (UMA), meeting the requirements of a broadcasting and communication convergent environment.

The Impact of Job Stress of the Cabin Crew on the Service Quality During COVID-19 era

  • Purpose: This research aims to explore the ramifications of job stress on cabin crews within the air service distribution sector, specifically examining its impact on service quality through mediating variables such as job satisfaction and engagement during the pandemic era. Research design, data and methodology: The study is based on a sample size of 312 individuals, exclusively comprising cabin crews employed in the airline industry. Methodologically, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed for statistical analysis. Results: The findings reveal that both performance evaluation and job responsibility exerted a significant impact on both job satisfaction and job engagement. Furthermore, job engagement demonstrated a substantial influence on service quality. However, in contrast, factors like unstable employment and the working environment showed no significant impact on either job satisfaction or engagement. Additionally, job satisfaction did not exert a significant influence on service quality. Conclusions: These insights will offer the valuable guidance to the airline industry in preparing for unforeseen external environments that may affect the industry. As the aviation sector navigates the challenges posed by the pandemic, understanding and addressing the intricate relationships among job stress, satisfaction, engagement, and service quality will be crucial for effective industry resilience and adaptation.

Adaptive Radio Resource Allocation for a Mobile Packet Service in Multibeam Satellite Systems

  • In this paper, we introduce an adaptive radio resource allocation for IP-based mobile satellite services. We also present a synchronous multibeam CDMA satellite system using an orthogonal resource sharing mechanism among downlink beams for the adaptive packet transmission. The simulation results, using a Ka-band mobile satellite channel and various packet scheduling schemes, show that the proposed system and resource allocation scheme improves the beam throughput by more than two times over conventional systems. The simulation results also show that, in multibeam satellite systems, a system-level adaptation to a user's channel and interference conditions according to user locations and current packet traffic is more efficient in terms of throughput improvement than a user-level adaptation.

모듈기반 퍼스널 로봇을 위한 미들웨어 구조 (Middleware Structure for Module-based Personal Robot)

  • This paper proposes a middleware structure for the module-based personal robot, which can run on heterogeneous network interfaces and provides users easy interface-method regardless of underlying heterogeneous interfaces and convenient exchange of modules. The proposed middleware is divided into three layers of a streaming layer (SL), a network adaptation layer (NAL) and a network interface layer (NIL). The streaming layer manages application transactions using middleware services and provides user a uniform interfaces to the proposed middleware. The network adaptation layer manages a message-routing and provides naming service and it is a core of the proposed middleware. And the network interfaces layer manages dependent parts of heterogeneous network interfaces such as IEEE1394, USB, Ethernet, and CAN (Control Area Network). This paper implements the proposed middleware structure, where 3 types of interfaces of IEEE 1394, USB and Ethernet are used, and measures response times among those interfaces.

  • This paper presents an adaptive control method based on parameter linearization for incompletely restrained wire-suspended mechanisms. The main purpose of this control method is utilizing it in a walking assist service robot for elderly people. This method is computationally simple and requires neither end-effector acceleration feedback nor inversion of estimated inertia matrix. In the proposed adaptive control law, mass, moment of inertia and external force and torque on the end-effector are considered as components of parameter adaptation vector. Nonlinear simulation for walking an elderly shows the effectiveness of the parameter adaptation law.
