Pain is a complex perceptual experience that is profoundly influenced by a number of variables, differing in quality as well as in intensity. Therefore we need to understand the actual experience of multiparous women in order to provide basic information for nursing care. The purpose of the study is to explore the experience of labor pain. The data are collected through in-depth interviews of 17 multiparous women in city of Pusan from October 1998 to March 1999. The interviews were conducted 1-2 days after delivery in the admission room. Each interview lasted about 45 minutes on average. Subjects were interviewed one at a time. The interviews were recorded with the consent of the subject. Data were analyzed by means of Giorgi's Phenomenological analysis methods and categorized according to the similarities of its contents. The investigator read the data repeatedly to identify themes and categories. Six categories that were identified were : 1) pain 2) regret 3) acceptance 4) maturity 5) accomplishment 6) newness. Under these categories there were seventeen themes. I. Pain: 1) too dependent on others 2) too painful 3) fear or anxiety from previous painful experience 4) avoidance of pain 5) couldn't control the pain II. Regret : 1) spouse's absence 2) unprofessional attitude of the staff 3) ignorance of other's towards their pain III. Acceptance : 1) took the pain for granted 2) accepted the pain as fate 3) endured the pain IV. Maturity : 1) appreciated the value of life 2) apprehension of parent V. Accomplishment : 1)is over sense of accomplishment 2) grateful the pain VI. Newness : 1) experienced a new feeling 2) quickly forgot the pain. The results of the study will provide basic data for labor pain management.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the tourists' circulations and behaviors at one of the representative dark tourism sites in Seoul, named Seodaemun Prison History Hall. This study conducts direct observation and behaviour tracking or follow-up survey based on traffic circulation and visitors' Muse-Ethogram extracted from the previous studies. The result of tourists' actual circulations shows that main tourists' flows of study areas consist of 3 approaches; suggested, unstructured and directed approaches. And tourists' behaviors such as moving(M), stop looking(SL), and reading(RE) reveal with the highest frequency. This study finds the 'expressing feeling(EXP)' as a new visitor' behavior in dark tourism site. The highest frequency of visitors' movement patterns is stop looking-reading-move(SL-RE-M). The results of this study could be used as a planning and design guidelines of dark tourism related to exhibition circulation, visitors' behaviors and development of exhibition content.

This study conducted a survey targeting incumbent records managers and archivists to examine the effect of the training program executed by the National Archives of Korea on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of actual record managers. Based on the results, this study proposed a training program that could improve job satisfaction and organizational commitment, based on the analysis results and the requirements of record managers and archivists, while fulfilling the knowledge and technology demand for records management. The training program of the National Archives of Korea proposed by this study has the following advantages. Records managers and archivists can acquire more professional skills that their field require them while feeling satisfied with their duty and becoming more immersed with their organization. In addition, they can also actively enhance their ability to cope with the variable environment.
Recently, the number of people enjoying various leisure sports has increased. As a result, the vehicles with various items loaded onto the roof can be easily seen on the street. The device that enables loading on the vehicle roof is called by a rack, and each vehicle has its own different shape. There are various types of roof racks but they must have the strength and durability to load heavy loads. In this study, the structural analysis was performed according to the support method of the roof rack and the shape of the fixture. Of three models, it was shown that model C had the best durability. Therefore, this study result shows which shape of the roof rack is most stable among the models. By utilizing the design data about a convergence study through the structural analysis due to the shape of automotive roof rack obtained on the basis of this result, the esthetic feeling can be shown by being converged onto the part of automobile at actual life.
To repair the underside of the car, a repairman has to enter under the car body. But this work can make it difficult for him to fix it and the injuries can occur. To solve these difficult problems, the developed equipment is the automotive lift. In this study, three kinds of lift models 1, 2 and 3 were designed and the material properties of the structural steel were applied. As the same load were applied under the same conditions on all models, the structural analyses were conducted. Models 2 and 3 were shown to have the structural deformation less than model 1. Also, models 2 and 3 were shown to be more stable than model 1 structurally. By utilizing the design data on a convergence research through durability analysis according to the configuration of automotive lift obtained on the basis of this result, the esthetic feeling can be shown by being converged onto the automotive repair equipment parts at actual life.
The purpose of this study is to develop teaching program which utilizes emotional intelligence elements as a measure to stimulate the motive and scientific attitude of learners and examine the effect of its application. The target unit for this study is 'world of plants' in the fourth grade of elementary school, and the teaching program is composed of 3 stages including I(encounter with myself), S(encounter with science), and U(encounter with friends). The teaching program is organized in the way to reflect 5 emotional intelligence elements including self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, sympathy, and personal relations properly according to each stage of teaching program. The result of applying this program into actual classrooms is as follows. First, it is proven that the teaching program actually helps improving the motive of learners to study science. The emotional intelligence takes a role of positive motive for thinking, and the learners monitor their emotion and behavior patterns by using a mirror notebook to reduce their anxiety about science. Second, it is proven that the teaching program changes the science related attitude of learners positively. The emotional intelligence elements help the learners to create friendly feeling toward science subject and have a friendly attitude toward science and a sense of expectancy to science class. Third, it is proven that the teaching program contributes to the improvement of learners' science study achievement. The emotional intelligence takes an important role in improving the learners' science study achievement through the role of adjusting and controlling the recognition capability. However, emphasizing the emotional intelligence excessively also has a risk to break the balance between emotion and recognition, so it is considered that the balanced approach should be applied.
Aim of this study is to investigate the perception and purchasing status of functional beverages for adults in the Chungnam area. In this case, the reasons to buy the functional beverages for men were 'recovery of fatigue (43.1%)', 'quenching thirst (21.6%)', 'health promotion (19.6%)', 'supply of nutrition (15%)', and 'a loss in weight (7%)'. Otherwise the reasons to buy the functional beverage for women showed to be 'recovery of fatigue (28.6%)', 'health promotion (26.4%)', 'quenching thirst (22.1%)', 'supply of nutrition (12.9%)', and 'a loss in weight (10%)', which were significant different between the men and women subjects. The place to buy functional beverages was for singles (46.5%) a store and for married person a supermarket. The purchase of functional beverages was affected by as follows; manufactured date > original granule > nutrition sign > country > price > taste > brand > scent > color and the women are affected more than men. For functional beverages, the men preferred to buy an energy drink and vitamin drink more than the women. After the intake of functional beverages, the men and women recognized the effect on 'recovery of fatigue' and 'a loss of weight/release of a feeling of hunger/improvement of constipation', respectively. Considering the results of the study, it is necessary to clarify the function of functional beverages so that consumers can choose and take the correct functional beverage by themselves. In addition, the nutritional education should be conducted for the intake allowance for the compositions and excessive or inadequate intake of functional beverages.

This study shows that clothes to be just the same as the real thing can be Produced through the third dimension computer graphics, and then presents that not only the area of fashion design can be expanded in the virtual reality field by doing the simulation of the fashion show, but also the information can be made the real time public ownership and the communication can be fulfilled smoothly. In this study, analyzing the third dimension computer graphic programs to be used much at present, Alias Wavefront Company's Maya software which was the most effective in the clothes simulation and the clothes CAD SGS OptiTex 8.7 which went well substitutive for it were used of them. The conclusions of this study that got through the work manufacture are as follows: The first, if the file manufacturing in the clothes CAD by using the computer was stored, the pattern used 3D simulation was available because it could be summoned in 3D software. The second, if the data of DXF form in Maya program was summoned, they could not be applied by Maya Cloth supported in Nurbs only because they were recognized as the DXF_layer. So the curve along the outer lines of the pattern was drawn and Maya Cloth was applied to be possible to get the natural silhouette of clothes. The third, when the clothes were manufactured by 3D, if the draping character was applied according to the textile special quality, not only the control of textile's thickness, weight, quality feeling, and silhouette was available, but also the clothes were available to graft the special textile materials. The fourth, the natural motion of model was produced by capturing the actual model's walking action In order to produce the fashion show motion and also the dynamic fashion show was available by the angle of camera, the establishment of lighting, and etc. in the final rendering. The clothes manufactured by 3D are available to change the design by changing the materials, or by adding the details, or by utilizing the special materials on clothes. Therefore, the trial and error following at the clothes manufacture can be reduced. But the elevation of the rendering speed, the price down, the strengthening of personal security, and etc. are required.
For the purpose of turning learners' locus of control into internal-controllable variables, counseling materials were developed, and attribution counseling was given. The counseling effects were practically confirmed by way of teaching and evaluation in the actual classes, and furthermore the efforts to provide learners with successful experiences in learning were repeatedly made. As a result, the conclusions are as follows: 1. The procedure of Individual counseling for learning attribution based on individual standard grades and data of the variable order of merit apparently shows learners that if learners are to try their best in learning, they will surely go far in terms of learning in the near future. 2. The procedure of Individual counseling for teaming attribution based on achievement distribution in individual behavior-oriented fields suggests to learners that how to learn is as important as how much effort they make. Surely enough, learners are required to make more effective and efficient efforts, considering their own learning abilities. 3. With the above 1, 2 procedures involved, learners have attributed locus of causality in achievement to their internal-controllable causes. 4. With preparatory assignments according to learner's abilities provided, even slower learners came to be assured that their constant efforts could give rise to success in learning achievement. 5. Above all, it was confirmed that the learners' struggling attitude might well have a significant correlation with achievement success. The learners who are willing to attribute locus of causality in achievement to their internal-controllable causes or strenuous efforts and intrinsic motivation tend to be convinced that they can address themselves to whatever faces them, so they can set up specific learning goals fit for their abilities. Accordingly, they will bit by bit acquire successful experiences (often called 'Aha' experiences) and in turn, feeling the senses of self-efficacy and self-esteem enough to push their efforts even further, they can grow to form a positive self-concept. With one successful experience after another fed back into learners, they are gradually motivated to bring the oncoming achievement expectation to a higher level. To conclude, it is necessary that instruction leading to internal-controllable attribution should be provided, inducing learners to recognize success and failure in learning achievement as a result of their strenuous efforts.
