In terms of the experience with oral health education, the number of elderly respondents who have not received oral health education was 202 (50.9%), whereas the number of those who have received oral health education was 195 (49.1%), which indicates that the latter shows a slightly higher proportion. 2. Examining the necessity for oral health education, the overall mean was 3.67 points based on 5 points as full marks, which suggests that senior citizens have high awareness of the necessity for oral health education. 3. Regarding the willingness to participate in oral health education, the number of those who answered that if any opportunity to receive oral health education is given, they would be willing to receive such the education was 211 (53.1%). For studying on the actual condition of the oral health control of the old there were invastigations on the Questions with the college of the old in Chonbuk as the central figure from June 1 to June 30, 1998 and the analyses about the frequency and the mutual relation through χ²-test. The results are as follow: 1. According to the result of the investigation into the actual condition about the oral health of the old, two times a day in the frequency of tooth brush per day was the highest at the rate of 50.35%, the use of dentifrice was 45.4%, and the exchanging time of tooth-brush after six months was the highest at the rate of 19.7%. And 96.1% didn't use dental floss and 73.6% didn't do scaling. It is thought that since 50% used tooth sticks and match sticks we have to inform the old of the necessity of dental plague and period oral examination. 2. In oral health situation, it showed that the number of people who were very week was the highest at the rate of 37% and there was the mutual relation between the use of tooth sticks and match sticks and present situation of oral health. And 54.93% visited the dental clinic wethin a year, and 22.3% among them made full denture. There was the mutual relation between the visit of dental clinic within a year and the consultation content and the number of people who teld that the consultation expense was very expensive was the higest at the rate of 27.8% and 87% didn't experience the oral education. So it is thought that we have to make an systematic education about the oral to the old and inform them of the necessity of oral health control. 3. We think it needs the establishment and plane of the systematic basis material and the oral education which is necessary in oral public industry for the dental preventive suitable to the characteristic of the old.

The subjects in this study were 240 employees at the headquarters of S construction company. After a survey was conducted in July and August 2008, the answer sheets from 208 respondents were gathered, and 191 answer sheets were analyzed except 17 unanalyzable ones. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. In regard to subjective oral health status, the largest number of the participants that accounted for 37.2% found their mouth to be neither healthy nor unhealthy. The greatest number of them that represented 58.1% had never visited a dentist's office to receive preventive treatment. 2. In the event of the office workers without that experience, the most prevalent frequency was three times(63.6%). The toothbrushing frequency was statistically significantly different according to the toothbrushing education experience(p<0.05). As to the relationship of toothbrushing education experience to tooth- brushing method, the largest number(48.2%) of those who had ever received that education brushed their upper and lower teeth along with the gums by rotating the toothbrush downward from the top and upward from the bottom respectively. In the event of the office workers without that experience, 49.4 percent brushed their teeth and gums by rotating the toothbrush up and down. Thus, whether they had ever received education about toothbrushing made a statistically significant difference to their toothbrushing method(p<0.05). 3.
