실내수영장 음향성능 개선을 위한 리모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Remodeling for Improvement of Acoustic Performance at Indoor Swimming Pool)

  • Recently, in accordance with the interesting on well-being as well as the revitalization of living athletics, it is current tendency that people who use the swimming pools are on increasing. However, because the most of indoor swimming pools have ever used the reflection finishing materials likely as the tile due to the property of its hydrophilic space, the inside of indoor swimming pool is vibrating too much, and some problem which the voice and music do not delivering clearly is occurring when swimming lessons or underwater aerobics(synchronized swimming) and swimming game. Based on such viewpoint, locating the object on actually built indoor swimming pool, this Study has ever grasped its physical acoustic property, and finally designed the indoor swimming pool that contains an optimum acoustic condition, by remodelling it through an acoustic simulation. It is considered that such study result could be utilized as the useful materials when constructing the similar indoor swimming pool, hereafter.

  • With the advantages of large vibration energy dissipation of structures, the granular materials are used as vibration and acoustic treatments. In this case of vibro acoustic controls, a finite dynamic strength of the solid component (frame) is an important design factor. The dynamic stiffness of hollow cylindrical beams containing porous and granular materials as damping treatment was measured. Using the Rayleigh-Ritz method, the effects of damping materials on the dynamic characteristics of beams were investigated. The results suggested that the acoustic structure Interaction between the frame and the structure enhances the dissipation of the vibration energy significantly. The same methods were applied also to vibration control of sandwich panels. By filling the cavities of honeycomb cores using unconsolidated granular materials, its sound transmission toss was improved significantly.

  • Acoustic modal property of the vehicle passenger compartment is a very important factor which dominates vehicle interior noise in the low frequency range. In most real cars, trunk noise often transfers into the passenger compartment since the two cavities are acoustically coupled. This study identifies the major coupling path by examining the variation of the coupled acoustic modal frequencies and modes. An 1/2 size acryl compartment model is designed and manufactured for the measurement and analysis of coupled acoustic modes. Experimental result shows that package tray contributes to the coupling much more than the back seat and hole size of the package tray is an important design factor to control low frequency acoustic modes in the coupled system.

음향 임피던스를 해저면 입력인자로 이용하는 수중음장 계산 (Computation of Underwater Acoustic Field Using Acoustic Impedance as an Input Parameter for the Ocean Bottom)

  • 천해에서의 수중음장 계산에서 음향 임피던스를 해저면 입력인자로서 도입하는 방안의 가능성을 고찰하였다. 먼저 탄성 해저면에서의 음파반사 특성을 고찰한 결과, 임계 접지각 이하에서 음향 임피던스는 접지각이 거의 $0^{\circ}$에 가까울 때의 임피던스 $Z_0$ 1개 값으로 근사가 가능함을 나타내었다. 이러한 특성과 'effective depth' 개념을 접목시켜 전달손실을 계산한 결과, 수중음장 계산에서 임피던스를 해저면 음향 특성을 나타내는 입력인자로 사용하는 것이 가능성이 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 음향작동기의 응용으로, CNT, ITO와 xGnP로 코팅된 PVDF 나노복합재료의 계면접착 내구성과 전기적 특성을 평가하였다. CNT, ITO와 xGnP의 고유 전기적 특성으로 인하여 xGnP로 코팅된 나노복합재료가 CNT, ITO 경우보다 다소 낮은 전기저항을 나타내었으나, 모두 양호한 음향특성을 보여주었다. 나노복합재료의 계면 내구성은 정적 접촉각 시험을 통해 미처리 CNT 와 플라즈마 처리된 CNT 그리고 플라즈마 처리된 PVDF간의 표면에너지, 접착일, 그리고 퍼짐계수를 평가하여 계면 내구성과의 상호 관련성을 확인하였다. 음향 작동기로서 xGnP 나노복합재료의 최적의 작동성은 시편의 곡률반경, 코팅정도를 달리 하여 음향 측정기를 사용하여 음향특성을 측정하였다. 나노재료의 고유의 전기적 특성으로 인하여 xGnP가 CNT나 ITO보다 음향작동기로서 더 적합함을 알 수 있었다. 곡률반경이 약 15도일 때 가장 적합하며, 코팅두께에 따라 음향특성이 차이가 나지만 투명도도 좋으면서 음향특성도 우수한 음향 작동기를 제작할 수 있었다.

  • The transmission loss coefficient is very important acoustic property in parallel with absorption and acoustic impedance categorizing the acoustical materials, which can control the acoustical problems. At the same time, the transmission loss coefficient is a key parameter to choose the optimum material for the analysis of acoustical characteristics of material using SEA(Statistical Energy Analysis). In this paper, the acoustic transmission loss measurement system using 4-microphone TL tube is applied to the exhaust system, which is one of the most important acoustic control parameters in a car, based on the idea calculating the full transfer matrix. The theoretical background and measurement system are introduced, and finally the measurement results are verified.

  • In this paper, an ultrasonic level limit sensor with a new structure utilizing the acoustic impedance matching is proposed to be able to check it out a change of water-level. 2 PZT resonators with the same property are bonded directly on the polyethylene plate. One is for transmitter as an ultrasonic transducer, the other one is for receiver. In this case, a polyethylene plate will operate as an acoustic guider to transmit a transverse wave between 2 PZT resonators in air. While in the water, a polyethylene plate having a similar acoustic impedance with the water will be emitted an acoustic energy into the water as a longitudinal wave. According to this mechanism, there was a wide difference of acoustic signal output between underwater and in air. As a summary, it is believed that this proposed level limit sensor could be used as a new one with strong toughness from the external electrical and mechanical noise.

보조 공동과 간극을 갖는 원통형 공동의 음향 전달 특성 (Acoustic Transmission Characteristics of the Cylindrical Cavity with an Auxiliary Cavity and a Gap)

  • 본 논문에서는 원통형 공동계의 음향 전달 특성에 대하여 이론적으로 검토한다. 원통형 공동계는 성덕대왕 신종의 음향 공동을 단순화시킨 모델로, 주 공동, 보조 공동 및 간극으로 구성되어 있다. 주 공동 내부에 점음원을 주고 내부 및 외부 음장에서의 주파수 응답 특성과 음향 모드를 구하였다. 그 결과는 SYSNOISE를 이용한 경계요소 해석결과와 비교하여 타당성을 확인하였다. 제안된 이론모델을 이용하여 간극과 보조 공동이 음향계의 공명 주파수와 음향 전달 특성에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 마지막으로 음원 주파수를 공동 내부에서 외부로 가장 잘 전달시키는 보조 공동과 간극의 조합을 결정하였다.

Geoacoustic Model of Coastal Bottom Strata off the Northwestern Taean Peninsula in the Yellow Sea

  • In the shallow coastal area, located off the northwestern Taean Peninsula of the eastern Yellow Sea, geoacoustic models with two layers were reconstructed for underwater acoustic experimentation and modeling. The Yellow Sea experienced glacio-eustasy sea-level fluctuations during Quaternary period. Coastal sedimentation in the Yellow Sea was characterized by alternating terrestrial and shallow marine deposits that reflected the fluctuating sea levels. The coastal geoacoustic models were based on data from piston, grab cores and the high-resolution 3.5 kHz, chirp seismic profiles (about 70 line-kilometers, respectively). Geoacoustic data of the cores were extrapolated down to 3 m in depth for geoacoustic models. The geoacoustic property of seafloor sediments is considered a key parameter for modeling underwater acoustic environments. For simulating actual underwater environments, the P-wave speed of the models was adjusted to in-situ depth below the sea floor using the Hamilton method. The proposed geoacoustic models could be used for submarine acoustic inversion and modeling in shallow-water environments of the study area.

  • Theoretical analysis Is carried out to identify the modal coupling effect between some particular acoustic modes of a vehicle compartment cavity and vibration modes of body panels like side doors, roof or floor. A simplified panel-cavity coupled model is investigated on the coupled resonance frequencies, modes and frequency response characteristics. Through parametric study, It Is possible to explain how the acoustic response of a coupled system will be determined by the vibration and acoustic property of the individual panel and cavity system. Full coupled system shows some interesting features different from those of the semi-coupled system In frequency, mode and acoustic response.
