Position transfer and turning rotation between fingerprint and inputted fingerprint that is registered in automatic fingerprint recognition system are one of main cause that mistaken acknowledgment expression happens. Therefore, in this research, conformity algorithm development that do it so that is unrelated in position translation and rotation of fingerprint at feature point conformity step to secure higher correct recognition rate.

The Vehicle Safety Communications (VSC) is one of VANET applications for preventing vehicle accidents, and it utilizes vehicle-to-vehicle communication to exchange emergency messages. To propagate such messages in VSC, several schemes based on selective flooding have been proposed. Their common idea is that an emergency message is relayed by one of vehicles receiving the message. However, the schemes do not consider the transmission errors and duplications of an emergency event. In the schemes, if there are transmission errors and a vehicle detects a hazard, there may be vehicles which fail to receive an emergency message. If k vehicles detect a hazard, k emergency messages are created and propagated. The duplications of an event increase reliability of the message delivery but decrease efficiency. In this paper, we propose an emergency message delivery scheme which is efficient and robust to transmission errors. Our proposed scheme utilizes clustering for massage aggregation and retransmissions in a cluster. It also uses an acknowledgment mechanism for reliable inter-cluster communication. Our simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms Least Common Neighbor Flooding which is one of the selective flooding schemes.

This study collected 217 cases of court ruling statements for the cases over which administrative litigations were made regarding the acknowledgment of cerebral and cardiovascular diseases arising out of duty against Korea Labor Welfare Corporation and analyzed the factors of occurrence of cerebral hemorrhage and infarction and the Court cases of cancelation and dismissal of the litigation. As a result, due to seasonal factors, cerebral hemorrhage occurred more in the winter while cerebral infarction, in spring. The incidences for each age group were the higest in people in their 40s for cerebral hemorrhage while in those in their 50s for cerebral infarction, it turned that the incidence inside the places of business was the highest. The average days from application for care and family benefits until the confirmation of the case was 31 months on average for 34 canceled cases while 23 months for 183 dismissed ones, and the average number of months working until the occurrence of accident was 80.8 months for the 34 canceled cases while 77.6 for the 183 dismissed ones. This study has a significance in that it analyzed leading cases of confirmed administrative litigations in some cases applied for diseases due to occupational cases after the occurrence of cerebral and cardiovascular diseases but not approved, through which it is expected to be used as the basic data to reduce time and economic loss generated by the litigations to judge the acknowledgment of diseases due to occupational cases.

In this study, we aimed to identify the types of acknowledgments in Korean LIS journal articles and to find out whether there are differences in the bibliometric characteristics of journal articles based on the types of acknowledgments. For the analysis, the acknowledgments, references, and citation counts of 2,143 articles published in four representative journals in the field of library and information science in Korea for nine years from 2013 to 2021 were obtained as data. We analyzed the contents of 1,433 acknowledgments in 1,311 articles (61.2% of all articles) to divide them into types and then examined the bibliometric characteristics of each type of article. The acknowledgment types were broadly divided into the 'ethics' type (avoiding duplicate publication) and 'thanks' type, which were further subdivided into 9 and 10 types, respectively. We examined the number of references, recency of references, and citations as bibliometric characteristics, and found that all of these characteristics differed between the types of acknowledgements.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the clear concept of organizational commitment for effective nursing personnel management. Method: This study was conducted using Walker & Avant's conceptual analysis framework(2005). Results: Organizational commitment was identified with six attributes: acknowledgment, acceptance, trust, sacrifice, attachment, regulation. Antecedents of organizational commitment were personal characteristics, perceived organizational support, empowerment, fair compensation, job satisfaction, job autonomy, organizational culture, and leadership. Consequences of organizational commitment were turnover intention, job performance and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: Organization commitment is a core concept for understanding the management of nursing personnel. Appropriate instruments to operationalize the concept of organizational commitment including six attributes need to be developed.

본 논문에서는 에너지 수확 무선 센서 네트워크에서 버스티 데이터 전송에 효율적인 수신자 기반의 MAC 프로토콜을 제안한다. 에너지 수확 무선 센서 네트워크는 기존의 배터리에 의해 동작하는 센서 네트워크에 비해 태양열과 같은 주변의 환경으로부터 에너지를 수확하여 사용함으로써 전체 네트워크의 수명을 향상시킬 수 있는 장점으로 인하여 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 에너지 수확 무선 센서 네트워크에서 데이터 전송에 참여하는 센서 노드의 에너지를 참고하여 비콘(beacon) 주기를 조절하고 수신자(receiver) 비콘에 응답(acknowledgment)신호를 포함시킴으로써 버시티 데이티(bursty data) 전송에 효율적이면서, 센서 노드의 에너지를 절약할 수 있는 MAC 프로토콜을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 MAC 프로토콜과 기존에 연구되었던 ODMAC 프로토콜과 에너지 절약 및 버스티 데이터 전송 효율면에서 비교분석한다.

This paper proposes an enhanced transport protocol for multipeer communications. It is assumed that there exists a transport connection owner that takes the roles of the establishment, management and termination of a transport connection. The proposed protocol classifies the data transfer type into simplex, duplex and N-plex multicasts and provides several transport services to support various requirements in group communications. The general operations and reliability controls of each transfer type are different from one another and carried out by a shared control tree. The QoS negotiation is performed during the creation phase. The notification of negotiated values is followed by an acknowledgment procedure for confirmation. The four-way handshake is introduced. After negotiation, such a resource reservation protocol as RSVP can reserve system and network resources according to the arbitrated values. This paper suggests a conceptual model of the transport layer and its protocol behaviors over the IP multicast and RSVP network.

Automatic repeat request (ARQ) protocol is attention for recent years as one protocol for reliable, accurate signal at the destination. However, in almost recently proposed ARQ protocols, the authors only consider advantage about the diversity gain. In this paper, we propose a novel cooperative ARQ protocol with advantage about the bandwidth in which the source sends a number of frames before stopping and worrying about the acknowledgment.

Goldingham's measurement of the velocity of sound undertaken in the early nineteenth century was the first large-scale measuring enterprise which considered various meteorological factors such as temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, the direction of the wind, etc. Goldingham's successful performance of measuring the velocity of sound by employing the sounds of cannons as sound source in Madras (now Chennai), a colonial region of India, for one and a half years was supported by material, institutional and social resources. As the official astronomer at the Madras Observatory, he was benefitted by the undemanding employment of accurate measuring instruments under the support of the Madras Army enabled him to gain reliable data and his reputation as professional experimentalist facilitated the acknowledgment of their trustworthiness.
