고로 슬래그 시멘트 페이스트 내 자유염화물량과 물가용성 염화물량 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Water-soluble Chloride Content and Free-chloride Content in Blast Furnace Slag Cement Pastes)

  • The purpose of this paper is to compare free-chloride content with water-soluble chloride in blast furnace cement(BSC) paste. The content of free-chloride in cement paste measured by pore solution analysis and water-soluble chloride measured by ASTM. The result of this study are as follows: 1. The concentration of chloride ion in pore solution of BSC-solidified matrix is almost as low as 43-71% compared to that of OPC-solidified matrix containing the same chloride content in cement paste. 2. The binding capacity of specimens, OPC Pl-P5, are 93.5-77%, but the binding capacity of specimens, BSC Pl-P5 are 97.1-86.1%, which is to be as high as 2-9.1% compared to OPC containing the same chloride content. 3. In terms of water-soluble chloride content in BSC paste are 15-31.7 percent of chloride addition but free-chloride content in pore solution are 2.9-13.9 percent of chloride addition. The free-chloride content in pore solution is 19.3-43.8 percent lower for the water-soluble chloride content in cement paste.

혼화재 종류 및 치환율이 염수에 침지한 콘크리트의 내염성능 향상에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of the Kinds and Replacement Ratios of Mineral Admixtures on the Development of Chloride Invasion Resistance Property of Concrete Immersed in Salt Water)

  • This paper investigate that the effect of the concrete containing mineral admixtures(pozzolanic materials such as fly-ash, ground granulated blast-furnace slag, silica fume and meta kaolin) on the resistance properties to chloride ion invasion. The purposed testing procedure was applied to the concrete added mineral admixtures for $3\sim4$ replacement ratios under W/B ratios ranged from 0.40 to 0.55. Specimens were immersed in $3.6\%$ NaCl solution for 330 days, and penetration depth, water soluble chloride contents and acid soluble chloride contents were measured in 28, 91, 182 and 330 days. Then, diffusion coefficient were calculated using total chloride contents. As a results. the kinds of mineral admixture and replacement ratios had a great effect on the resistance property of the concrete to chloride ion invasion compared with the plain concrete. And the optimal replacement ratios of mineral admixture had a limitation for each admixtures. The amount of acid soluble chloride ions and water soluble chloride ions were varied with the kinds of mineral admixtures and the penetration depth from the concrete skin. Chloride diffusion coefficient of each concretes decreased with the time elapsed. and the diffusion coefficients of the concrete immersed salt water for 330 days had a establishment with the compressive strength measured before immersing.

  • The pure-separation of calcium chloride-treated fibroin hydrolysates could be carried out using gel filtration chromatography. Also, the effect of its enzymatic hydrolysis was investigated in order to find out the enhancement of their functionality. The average molecular weight(Mw), solubility and free amino acid compositions of three hydrolysates samples (calcium chloride, calcium chloride-flavourzyme and calcium chloride-thermoase)were measured to compare their characteristics. The molecular weight of calcium chloride hydrolysate was about Mw 46,800 and it can be reduced to Mw 12,500 and 1,070 upon the enzymatic hydrolysis by flavourzyme and thermoase, repectively. A solubility of calcium chloride-treated samples shows about 60% while calcium chloride/enzyme-treated samples are perfectly soluble (100% solubility). The total amino acid composition of calcium chloride enzymatic hydrolysates are much higher than that of calcium chloride hydrolysate.

Geranium sibiricum L.의 성분에 대하여 (Study on components of Geranium sibiricum L.)

  • The herb of Geranium sibirium L, a drug knwon as "Chui Sonni Poul" distributed widely, has been used as a folk-medicine for the treatment of diarrhea. The dried entire herb is boiled with methanol and methanol is distilled of from the filtered methanol extract under reduced pressure. Then the extract is boiled with water and filtered off. From the filtrate, the following substances are isolated and identified by treating with organic solvents as ether, ethyl acetate, and etc.: 1. Gallic acid: a colorless needle crystal which is soluble in alcohol and water. mp.235.deg. C, positive (dark blue) against the ferric chloride reagent. 0.76 percent of gallic acid is yielded from the herb. 2. Quercetin: a light yellow crystal. mp.194.deg. C. negative against the ferric chloride reagent. 3. Ellagic acid: a light yellow crystal which is insoluble in ehter and acetone and slightly soluble in alcohol. Positive (blue) against the ferric chloride reagent. The crystal obtained by recrystalisation from pyridine, does not melt by 360.deg. C. Represent a yield of 0.03 percent from the herb. 4. Crude tannin: a approximately 7.6 percent of crude tannin is yielded by treating with ethyl acetate. gallic acid and querceetin are yielded by hydrosis with dliute sulfuric acid. Based on the above results, the following suggestion could be recommendable; Geraed in the Japanese Pharmacoeia VI.acoeia VI.

갈변억제제 처리가 신선 절단 딸기의 품질 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Browning Inhibitors on Quality Property of Fresh-Cut Strawberries)

  • 신선절단 딸기의 품질유지에 유효한 갈변억제제의 사용조건을 규명하기 위하여, 원형 딸기를 절단하고 1% 농도의 ascorbic acid, citric acid, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride의 단용 또는 혼용 처리, 포장 및 보관 후 품질 특성을 조사하였다. 포장 내부의 산소와 이산화탄소 농도는 혼용 처리구에서 유의적으로 가장 높고 낮은 수준을 보였다. 갈변도는 혼용 처리구에서 가장 낮았으며, 다음으로 magnesium chloride 단용 처리구에서 낮은 수준을 나타내었다. 과육경도의 감소는 sodium chloride나 magnesium chloride 단용 처리구에서 다소 억제됨을 보였으나 혼용 처리구에서 보다 더 억제되었다. 가용성 고형분 함량과 pH는 갈변억제제 처리의 영향을 나타내지 않았다. 이로써, ascorbic acid, citric acid, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride의 혼용 처리는 신선절단 딸기의 갈변과 연화 억제를 통한 품질유지에 효과적인 방법인 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study was performed to develop acid-soluble extraction solution and water-soluble extraction solution for hardened concrete. By use of this potentiometric method one can determinate chloride ion concentration in hardened concrete without pre-treatment and it can be used on-site.

  • This paper investigate that the effect of the concrete containing mineral admixtures(pozzolanic materials such as fly-ash, ground granulated blast-furnace slag, silica fume and meta kaolin) on the resistance properties to chloride ion invasion. The purposed testing procedure was applied to the concrete added mineral admixtures for 3~4 replacement ratios under W/B ratios ranged from 0.40 to 0.55. For the electrical migration test, Tang and Nilsson's method was used to estimate the migration coefficient of chloride ion. As a results, the W/B ratios, kinds of admixture and replacement ratios, water curing periods had a great effect on the migration coefficient of chloride ion, and the optimal replacement ratios of admixture had a limitation for each admixtures. Also, the addition of mineral admixtures by mass(replacement of OPC) enhanced the resistance of the mixture to chloride penetration compared with the plain concrete. The amount of acid soluble chloride ions and water soluble chloride ions were varied with the kinds of mineral admixtures. The compressive strength was shown related to the migration coefficient of chloride ion, the compressive strength increased with the decreasing migration coefficient of chloride ion. Below the 50MPa, the variation of migration coefficient of concrete added mineral admixtures was bigger than plain concrete.

N-Phenylphthalimide를 포함하는 디아민과 디카르복시산으로 제조된 폴리아라미드-이미드 I. 제조와 열적 성질 (Polyaramide-Imide from N-Phenylphthalimide-Containing Diamine and Dicarboxylic Acid I. Synthesis and Thermal Properties)

  • Imide 단위를 포함하는 diamine과 dicarboxylic acid 단량체들, N-(4-aminophenyl)-4-aminophthalimide(APAP), N-(4-carboxyphenyl)-4-carboxyphthalimide(CPCP), N,N'-oxydiphenylenebis(4-aminophthalimide)(ODPAP), 그리고 N,N'-oxydiphenylenebis(4-carboxy-phthalimide)(ODPCP)를 합성하였다. 상기 디아민을 포함한 단량체들과 디카르복시산을 포함한 단량체들을 서로 축합반응하여 imide 단위가 교대로 치환된 poly(imide-amide)s를 합성하였다. 또한 imide단위를 포함하는 diamine 단량체들과 terephthaloyl chloride, 그리고 isophthaloyl chloride를 축합하여 poly(imide-amide)s들도 합성하였다. 이렇게 합성된 중합체들은 NMP/LiCl용액에 매우 잘 용해하였으나 그밖에 극성 비양자성 극성 용매인 DMF, DMSO, 그리고 DMAc 등에는 $80^{\circ}C$에서도 작은 용해도를 보여주었다. 그밖에 고유점도는 0.18~0.67 dL/g를 보여주었으며 NMP/LiCl 용액으로부터 단단하고 부서지기 쉬운 막이 형성되었다. 중합체들은 $500^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 유리 전이 온도 및 융점은 관찰되지 않았으며 열 중량 분석에서 10% 중량 감량은 $500^{\circ}C$ 부근에서 나타나 우수한 열적 성질을 보여주었다.

  • The effects on pool boiling heat transfer of aqueous solutions of boric acid ($H_3BO_3$) and sodium chloride (NaCl) as working fluids have been studied. Borated and NaCl water were prepared by dissolving 0.5~5% volume concentration of boric acid and NaCl in distilled-deionized water. The pool boiling tests were conducted using $1{\times}1\;cm^2$ flat heaters at 1 atm. The critical heat flux (CHF) dramatically increased compared to boiling pure water. At the end of boiling tests it was observed that particles of boric acid and NaCl had deposited and formed a coating on the heater surface. The CHF enhancement and surface modification during boiling tests were very similar to those obtained from boiling with nanofluids. Additional experiments were carried out to investigate the reliability of the additives deposition in pure water. The boric acid and NaCl coatings disappeared after repeated boiling tests on the same surface due to the soluble nature of the coatings, thus CHF enhancement no longer existed. These results demonstrate that not only insoluble nanoparticles but also soluble salts can be deposited during boiling process and the deposited layer is solely responsible for significant CHF enhancement.
