중풍 환자의 배뇨장애에 대한 구료법의 효과 (Clinical Study on the Effects of Moxibustion for Post-stroke Voiding Dysfunction)

  • Background and Purpose : Cerebrovascular accident is a serious neurologic event. It can have temporary or permanent effects on survivors, including memory, cognition and volitional control of voiding. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical effect of moxibustion in patients with voiding dysfunction after a cerebrovascular accident. Methods : Twenty patients with post-stroke voiding dysfunction were studied. All patients had computerized tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) to localize the lesion in the central nervous system. They were randomly divided into two groups : the control and moxibustion group. Ten of twenty patients underwent moxibustion treatment by randomization. The moxibustion group receieved moxibustion at three points : Chung-guk (Conception Vessel CV3), Kuanwon (CV4) Kihae (CV6). Residual urine volume evaluation was undertaken in all patients. Results : 1. IIn the balanced bladder time, the moxibustion group had the shorter time than non moxibustion group. But there was no significiant difference between the moxibustion group and non-moxibustion group. 2. In the residual urine volume, the moxibustion group and non-moxibustion group showed a tendency to decrease. But there was no significiant difference between the moxibustion group and non-moxibustion group. Conclusions : Though further study is needed, our findings suggested that the time of achieving balanced voiding was shorter with moxibustion than in the control group.

자동차 환경에서 스마트 모바일 블랙박스 DVR (Smart Mobile Blackbox DVR in Car Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 사고 자동인식 서비스 제공과 위험 운전 여부 등을 통하여 운전자의 운전습관을 교정해 주고 사고 전후의 동영상을 재현하는 확장성이 높은 모바일 블랙박스 DVR (SMBD, Smart Mobile Blackbox DVR) 컴퓨터의 모델링 설계를 하였다. SMBD는 임베디드 시스템에 무선 기능을 탑재하여 차량이 휴면상태에서도 사고발생 지점과 영상정보를 무선통신을 이용하여 24시간 관제센터에 통보함으로써 긴급구난 서비스 및 교통정보를 제공 받을 수 있다. 또한 차량 ECU(Electronic Control Unit)의 차량정보 및 센서 데이터와 연동하여 무선 eCall (Emergency Call) 서비스를 실현할 수 있다.

사고현장과 사령실간 화상전송기술에 관한 연구 (A study on the moving picture transmission method between the accident sites and control center)

  • Whenever the accidents occur in the railway areas, their prompt recovery is very important. The individual way has been used to resolve these accidents by direct visiting the site and reporting to others who cares for these cases. As a result, we are planning to operate the MTS (Moving picture Transmission System) for a timely information's transmission to the related peoples in the central control center by transforming the picture information on the accident-site to the digital information. The proposed system is not a transmission system using exclusive lines, but utilizing the existing railway computer network. We construct a network server device so that a dispatcher can easily connect with the server through the railway intranet. In some railway environments such as disturbed field situations and geographical condition(in tunnels and bridges, etc) building up the wired network is difficult. Solving this problem, we reviewed the wireless network. Finally we proposed the mixed wireless network that is able to cover the wired network. We then installed and tested the wired network and wireless network respectively in wayside of a railway field. Through the testing, we identified many detailed matters for some network construction approaches to the control room and many field device-connecting schemes. This research will contribute to minimize the number of staff dispatched to a disturbed field, decrease the accident recovery time and improve the quality of service to the passenger.

RESEARCH EFFORTS FOR THE RESOLUTION OF HYDROGEN RISK

  • During the past 10 years, the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) has performed a study to control hydrogen gas in the containment of the nuclear power plants. Before the Fukushima accident, analytical activities for gas distribution analysis in experiments and plants were primarily conducted using a multidimensional code: the GASFLOW. After the Fukushima accident, the COM3D code, which can simulate a multidimensional hydrogen explosion, was introduced in 2013 to complete the multidimensional hydrogen analysis system. The code validation efforts of the multidimensional codes of the GASFLOW and the COM3D have continued to increase confidence in the use of codes using several international experimental data. The OpenFOAM has been preliminarily evaluated for APR1400 containment, based on experience from coded validation and the analysis of hydrogen distribution and explosion using the multidimensional codes, the GASFLOW and the COM3D. Hydrogen safety in nuclear power has become a much more important issue after the Fukushima event in which hydrogen explosions occurred. The KAERI is preparing a large-scale test that can be used to validate the performance of domestic passive autocatalytic recombiners (PARs) and can provide data for the validation of the severe accident code being developed in Korea.

고속도로 공사구간에서 발생하는 교통사고 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Traffic Accident Characteristics of Freeway Work Zones)

  • 최근 도로의 유지관리 개념의 중요성이 대두되면서 도로 자체의 유지보수 확장이나 도로선형 개량 등 도로상에서 각종 공사의 빈도가 증가하고 있다. 특히 고속으로 주행하는 고속도로 상에서 도로점용공사로 인하여 차로가 감소되는 구간은 교통효율과 사고 위험도 측면에서 체계적이고 합리적인 도로점용공사가 필요하지만, 국내의 도로 특성을 반영한 공사구간 도로상에서의 교통사고 측면의 연구가 부족하여 외국의 사례를 적용하고 있는데, 외국은 국가의 면적, 도로의 사정, 국민들의 의식수준 등 여러 가지 상황이 우리나라와 상이하여 외국의 사례를 그대로 적용했을 때에는 실제적으로 우리나라 도로현황과 일치하지 않는 경우가 대부분이다. 이에 고속도로 23개 노선을 중심으로 2003년부터 2005년까지 3년동안 교통통제가 이루어진 공사구간에서 발생한 교통사고를 조사하고 이 공사구간에서 발생하는 교통사고의 특성을 사고유형별, 사고심각도별, 공사유형별, 원인별, 사고 발생경향별, 그리고 전체 고속도로상의 교통사고와의 비교를 통해서 알아보고자 한다. 또한 이를 통해서 보다 구체적이고 세부적인 공사구간 통제지침의 필요성을 제시하고자 한다.

화학사고 대응계획: 국내 지역간 비교연구 (Chemical Accident Response Plan: A Comparative Study between Regions in Korea)

  • 2015년 화학물질관리법 전면 개정에 따라 국내 유해화학물질 관리 패러다임이 사업장 단위에서 지역 단위로 변화하였다. 이에 2020년 지역화학사고대응계획이 수립되었으나 지자체마다 대응 범위와 기준에 대한 내용에서 조금씩 차이를 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 각 지역내 수립된 화학사고대응계획을 비교 고찰함으로써 효과적인 화학사고 대응계획에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 연구를 수행하였다. 이에 공개된 자료를 기반으로 시 단위 4개 지역의 사고 대비 현황, 화학사고 대응시스템, 주민 대피 대응 및 교육훈련의 3가지 차원에서 지역별 대응계획을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 지역별 사고 대비 및 사고 대응시스템에서는 차이가 크지 않으며, 각 지역별 사업장 특성에 연계한 대비체계는 논의가 부족했다. 또한, 주민을 위한 교육 및 훈련에서 지역간 차이가 존재했다. 앞으로 각 지자체는 지역 환경 특성에 맞는 대응 조직을 구성하고, 유관 기관 협력을 통해 민첩하고 효과적인 사고 대응을 위해 전략을 구상해야 할 것이다.

중.소규모 사업장의 안전관리 실태 및 관리 방법에 관한 연구 (Study on The Safety management Situations and The management methods for Small & Medium sized enterprise)

  • In order for the analysis of effect in the respective preventive measures which is being carried out by a small & medium sized company against any potential accident, this research relates to the followings: We investigated the situation of an accident occurred in the company in which his obligation of selecting a safety manager is exempted, in accordance with the industrial safety & healthcare & enforcement ordinance, enforcement rule. We investigated the situation of an accident occurred in the company which entrusted the specialized organization with his own safety control notwithstanding it is free from an obligation to have any safety manager for aiming at the comparison and analysis of the outcome. The economic and preventive effect of industrial accident has been compared and analyzed in order to strengthen the obligation of selecting a safety manager.

  • CCTV network has been implemented to transmit the image information of platform, ticket gate and transfer section to local headquarters in the KNR(Korean National Railroad). But, communication system for transferring image information around accident field or wayside has not been established yet. thus, at present implementation of communication equipment is necessary for dynamic image of unspecified accident to be transmitted to headquarters. Copper cable communication network is run by KNR, but it is processing installation of optical cable in connection with the implemental plan for high-speed network from now on. And, the capacity of communication channel will be guaranteed much more than now between station and station, station and central headquarters when optical cable is completed. This study analyzes the image equipment of field for transmission and estimated matters to transmit image information of accident field to headquarters with using communication infrastructure. And, the study considers implemental method of communication network for long-distance image transmission from dozens to hundreds kilometers.

  • The domestic construction industry is becoming larger, high-rise and specialized. However, safety consciousness is still staying in low levels and falling accidents are apt to rise compared to other industries. So, the new way of safety management is required for reducing of the construction falling accidents. In this paper, we evaluate appropriateness of safety management on construction sites utilizing USN using smart safery equipment. Thus, we calculate loss costs of falling accidents considering accident rates and costs of the USN using smart safery equipment installation then compare both calculated costs. This research aims to propose the method for reduction of construction accidents in addition to conventional safety control methods by analyzing the propriety of applying USN using smart safery equipment on construction sites.

전기철도용 소규모SCADA 시스템 설계방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Small Unit SCADA System for Electric Railroad)

  • Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition(SCADA) of electric power system refersto the system that displays, monitors and executes the control commands for remote electric power system. KNR's existing electric power control system is built on UNIX platform such that it costs more for system construction, and people with UNIX skills can only be an operator who controls and manages the system. Moreover, since the system is mainly operated in local offices, system operators must communicate with local operators to investigate the cause of the accident and react the accident every time the system fails. As a new integrated SCADA system is constructed, establishment of small-unit electric power control system, that alters local electric power control system in designated stations, is required. In this study, the electric power control system, which accommodates all functions of UNIX-based SCADA system and facilitates operation and even maintenance for local operators, is to be developed. In order to develop small-unit electric power control system, the industrial automation program, "Cimon", is used. The small-unit electric power control system that accommodatesRTU and newly installed electronic switchboard is being developed and tested at Chulam station of KNR.
