We introduce two numerical schemes for solving a system of ordinary differential equations which characterizes several kinds of linear reactions and diffusion from biochemistry, physiology, etc. The methods consist of sequential applications of the simple exact solver for a reversible reaction. We prove absolute stability and convergence of the proposed explicit methods. One is of first order and the other is of second order. Numerical results are included.

This paper presents a new difference scheme for numerical solution of stiff system of ODE’s. The present study is mainly motivated to develop an absolutely stable numerical method with a high order of approximation. In this work a double implicit A-stable difference scheme with the sixth order of approximation is suggested. Another purpose of this study is to introduce automatic choice of the integration step size of the difference scheme which is derived from the proposed scheme and the one step scheme of the fourth order of approximation. The algorithm was tested by means of solving the Kreiss problem and a chemical kinetics problem. The behavior of the gas explosive mixture (H₂+ O₂) in a closed space with a mobile piston is considered in test problem 2. It is our conclusion that a hydrogen-operated engine will permit to decrease the emitted levels of hazardous atmospheric pollutants.

This paper describes a study of a stabilisation scheme of a stepping motor in the driving systems of the Fiber Optic Gyrocompass absolutely required a constant speed and a precise position control with fine step angle. The new stabilisation scheme combining microstepping control and frequency modulation is developed which enables the experimental machine to be capable of stable running to a stepping frequency in the range 5 times the open-loop stall frequency.

본 연구에서는 이 기존의 방법들을 개선하여 비균일격자계에서도 사용할 수 있는 비선형 함수관계를 제시하며, 이 방법과 기존의 해법들을 비교할 때 실제 유동장 에서의 해의 정확도 차이, 전산비용의 경제성등은 어느정도 인지를 밝히고, 또 개선된 해법이 앞서 제시한 좀 더 복잡한 유동장에서도 성공적으로 적용 가능한지의 여부를 판단하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.

주파수 공유대역에서 가용 주파수 자원을 인지하여 효과적으로 공유하고 활용하기 위해서 데이터베이스 접속을 통한 무선환경 인지 기술과 광대역 스펙트럼 센싱을 통한 무선환경 인지 기술 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) PAWS (Protocol to Access White Space database) 표준 프로토콜 기반으로 개발한 TVWS (TV White Space) 데이터베이스 접속 프로토콜 구현 기술을 제시하고, TVWS에 적합한 MWC (Modulated Wideband Converter) 구조를 이용한 광대역 압축 스펙트럼 센싱 기술을 제안한다. 제안된 TVWS 데이터베이스 접속 프로토콜 구현 기술은 TVBD (TV Band Device)와 TVWS 데이터베이스에 탑재되어 실환경 테스트를 통해 안정적으로 동작함을 보인다. 본 연구에서 제안된 광대역 압축 스펙트럼 센싱 방식은 잡음 분산 추정 오차에 무관하게 일정 수준의 오경보 확률을 유지할 뿐만 아니라 95% 이상의 높은 검출 성능을 보인다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 미국 FCC와 유럽 ETSI에서 최근 마련한 TVWS 데이터베이스 정책을 분석하고, IETF에서 현재 마련 중인 화이트 스페이스 데이터베이스 접속 프로토콜에 관해 기술한다.
