평균입자모델을 이용한 비연삭에너지 특성평가 (Analysis of Specific Grinding Energy Characteristics Using Average Grain Model)

  • As a new approach to analyze grinding energy, this paper introduces a specific grinding energy model based on the average grain. Using this model, grinding characteristics such as radial and tangential forces, specific grinding energy of SM45C were investigated altering grinding variables such as workpiece velocity(v) and apparent depth of cut(Z) in down-surface grinding. From the experimental results, there is no significant difference between the radial, tangential forces and vertical. horizontal forces because of small contact angle between wheel and workpiece. The specific grinding energy decreases as the maximum undeformed chip thickness increases. But, there is much difference between the specific grinding energies of the existing and the proposed model.

  • Different kinds of feedstock of semisolid a356 aluminum alloy manufactured by EMS stirring only, inoculation of Al-5Ti-B only and combination of inoculation and EMS stirring were investigated. It is found that the grain size of these feedstock are $350{\mu}m$ for EMS casting only, $320{\mu}m$ for inoculation by Al-5Ti-B, and $100{\mu}m$ for the combination of EMS stirring and inoculation of Al-5Ti-B master alloys. The microstructure of the sample obtain by combination of inoculation and EMS system show the best homogeneousness and finest grains.

  • The piezoelectric properties and the doping effect of N $b_2$ $O_{5}$ and Mn $O_2$for 0.95PbZ $r_{x}$ $Ti_{x}$ $O_3$+0.05Pb(M $n_{0.42}$ $W_{0.26}$S $b_{0.32}$) $O_3$ compositions have been investigated. In the composition of 0.95PbZ $r_{0.54}$ $Ti_{0.46}$ $O_3$+0.05Pb(M $n_{0.42}$ $W_{0.26}$S $b_{0.32}$) $O_3$the Values Of $k_{p}$ find and $\varepsilon$$_{33}$ $^{T}$ are maximized, but $Q_{m}$ Was minimized ( $k_{p}$ =0.51, $Q_{m}$ =1750). The grain size was suppressed and the uniformity of grain was improved with doping concentration of N $b_2$ $O_{5}$ for 0.95PbZ $r_{0.54}$ $Ti_{0.46}$ $O_3$+0.005Pb(M $n_{0.42}$ $W_{0.26}$S $b_{0.32}$) $O_3$sample. The values of $k_{p}$ increased and the values of $Q_{m}$ slightly decreased when 0.5 wt% of N $b_2$ $O_{5}$ is doped. And the values of $k_{p}$ was the same formation of the N $b_2$ $O_{5}$ dopant when 0.5 wt% of M $n_2$ $O_{5}$ is doped. But the values of $Q_{m}$ was deeply decreased when 0.5 wt% of Mn $O_2$is doped. As a experiment results under high electric field driving, this piezoelectric ceramics are very stable. Conclusively, piezoelectric ceramic compsiton investigated at this paper is suitable for application to high power piezoelectric devices.. devices..ices.. devices..

  • 한국산 거머리말속(Zostera, Zosteraceae) 중 포기거머리말(Zostera caespitosa Miki)의 생태 및 분류학적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 생육 환경과 형태적인 특징을 분석하였다. 한반도에 자생하는 포기거머리말읜 생물지리학적인 분포는 동해연안의 덕산항과 대변, 황해 연안의 백령도 두무진과 남해 연안의 진해에서 종의 실체가 확인되었다. 포기거머리말의 생육지는 만과 항구로 수심 2.5∼5.2 m의 사질과 사니질의 퇴적환경에서 생육하였다. 본 종은 같은 생육지에 생육하는 거머리말 군집보다 깊은 수심에서 군집을 형성하였다. 외부 형태적인 특징은 황해 연안의 개체가 동해 연안의 개체보다 크게 신장하였으며, 생식지가 출현한 시기 의 수온은 6.0∼13.7℃로 1월부터 4월초까지 개화하였다. 포기거머리말의 생육지의 수심, 퇴적물의 평균입도와 유기물함량은 개체의 형태적인 형질 변이에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A Steady-State Combustion Modelling of Composite Solid Propellants

  • By depicting the transfer of heat and combustion reaction to take place within thin gas layers close to the propellant surface burning in a steady-state fashion, a mathematical equation has been deduced to describe the burning rate of solid propellant as a function of initial grain temperature and chamber pressure. It has been also assumed that chemical reaction could take place in premixing-diffusing zone but were carried out mainly in the reaction-flame zone. All these phenomena taken place in each zone of combustion have been assumed to be steady-state. In the present investigation, the equation, γ=$\kappa$$.$(1/R(T(sub)i+C))(sup)n$.$exp(-E(sub)a/R(T(sub)i+C))(P/z) is being presented and it is compared with experimental data. The proposed model has been tested and evaluated vis-a-vis strand burner data for three different propellants based on CTPB, and it has been found that the deviation of the computed burning rates from the measured rates ranged up to 2%.

  • The torsion tests in the range of $550~800^{\circ}C$, $5.0{\times}10^{-3}~5.0{\times}10^0/sec$ were performed to study the effects of strain rate$(\.{\varepsilon})$ and temperature(T) on the hot strength of Cu-Zn alloy. High temperature flow stresses of this alloy increased with increasing $\.{\varepsilon}$ and/or decreasing T, and than the more grain refinement could be obtained. The flow curves exhibited a peak followed by a steady steady state regime as a result of dynamic recrystallization. The hot strength dependence of $\.{\varepsilon}$ and T was described by a hyperbolic sine law, $\.{\varepsilon}=A(sinh0.017{\sigma})^4.81$exp(-216KJ/mol). Hot strength could be reduced at the arbitary condition, $\.{\varepsilon}$ and T, by constitutive parameter Z(Zenner-Hollomon parameter), $Z=A(sinh{\alpha}{\sigma})^n=\.{\varepsilon}$exp(Q/RT).

한국산 천연원료로부터 $\beta$-Sialon의 합성 및 그 특성 (Properties of $\beta$-Sialon Prepared from Korean Natural Resources)

  • $\beta$-Sialon powder was synthesized by the simultaneous reduction and nitridation of the mixed powder of Hadong kaolin and Kimcheon quartzite, using graphite as a reducing agent. The synthesized $\beta$-Sialon powder (Z=1) was hot-pressed at 175$0^{\circ}C$, for 90min under 30MPa in N2 atmosphere, after Yttria and YAG composition material were added as sintering agents. The effects of grain-boundary crystallization on high-temperature mechanical properties of $\beta$-Sialon ceramics were investigated. Strength degradation was observed at above 1,00$0^{\circ}C$ for the $\beta$-Sialon (Z=1)-8wt% Y2O3 composition, but it was not observed up to 1,20$0^{\circ}C$ for the $\beta$-Sialon-8wt% YAG composition which was annealed at 1,40$0^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours in N2 atmosphere. After the $\beta$-Sialon-8wt% YAG composition was annealed, the decrease of fracture toughness was observed.

  • Microstructures and dielectric properties of (Sr$_{1-x}$ .Ca$_{x}$)TiO$_{3}$+0.006Nb$_{2}$O$_{5}$ (0.05.leq.x.leq.0.2) ceramic were investigated. The specimens fired in a reducing atmosphere(N$_{2}$) were painted on the surface with CuO paste, and then annealed at 1100.deg. C for 2 hr. SEM and EDAX revealed that CuO penetrated rapidly into the bulk along the grain boundaries during the annealing. Grain size increased with increasing Ca content up to 15[mol%], but decreased with further addition. In the specimens with 10-15[mol%l of Ca, excellent dielectric properties were obtained as follows; dielectric constant <25000, dielectric loss(tan .delta[%]) <0.3[%] and capacitance change rate with temperature <.+-.[%], respectively. All the specimens in this study exhibited dielectric relaxation with frequency as a function of the temperature. The dispersive frequency was over 10$^{6}$ [Hz].z].
