초등학생의 환경 UCC 제작 참여가 환경 소양에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Participation Environmental UCC Making Program on Elementary School Students' Environmental Literacy)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of participation environmental UCC(User Created Content) making program on elementary school students' environmental literacy. Through the questionnaires and the analysis of students' outcomes, the effects of environmental literacy in both quality and quantity was verified. By applying computer programs to make environmental UCC to elementary students, helped them increase their environmental knowledge, and got them to recognize the importance of the environment that surrounds them. Students can find a solution to solve environmental problem from their interaction between the environment and themselves. It could also improve students' ability to think positively. From this research, I hope we require to develop possible programs for various kinds of educational activities based on UCC ones, since we already verified the effects of computer programs to make environmental UCC. The programs to make environmental UCC with learners participated is a kind of good model to reflect the learner's need who is a educational user. Or it could be teaching materials to help meet learner's viewpoint. It can also offer learner-oriented and creative learning and which teachers and learners work together to make a good result and that they make a new wave, instead of being teacher-oriented, which teachers force learners to do something. We can have a feeling of achievement through this and we can expect to enhance both our professional ability as a environmental teacher and the quality of lesson.

K-MOOC 강좌 개발과 학습자 만족도 분석 -어패럴패턴캐드 교육을 중심으로- (K-MOOC Course Development and Learners' Satisfaction Analysis -Focusing on Apparel Pattern CAD Education-)

  • This study proposes a method to effectively teaching technic for pattern development and virtual garment manufacturing by adopting the K-MOOC platform for the Apparel Pattern CAD curriculum. According to K-MOOC guidelines, Apparel Pattern CAD curriculum were developed and presented through the K-MOOC platform. A questionnaire survey was utilized to evaluate K-MOOC platform features in terms of learner satisfaction when adopting the 5-point Likert scale. Questionnaire survey participants included 52 college students. The result of the survey found that most of the attributes of the K-MOOC platform were highly rated in terms of interaction and learning effectiveness. The user interface of the K-MOOC platform were shown to be satisfactory in terms of usability. Participants gave a positive assessment of the benefits of online lectures when comparing online and offline lectures. In particular, the preference for online lectures in computer-related courses such as CAD was higher than the offline. It was concluded that the Apparel Pattern CAD curriculum based on the K-MOOC platform was effective and satisfactory for learners in various aspects.

웹 기반 학습 프로그램 평가 방법에 관한 비교 연구 (A comparative study on evaluation methods in web based instruction)

  • 많은 컴퓨터 학습 프로그램이 개발되었지만 질은 오히려 떨어지고 있다는 주장이 제기되고 있다. 이러한 문제의 주된 원인 중에 하나는 프로그램의 질을 높일 적절한 평가 방법들을 적용하지 않았기 때문이라는 주장이 있다. 이 글에서는 이러한 질 문제를 해결하면서 컴퓨터 학습 프로그램의 효과성을 높일 수 있는 다양한 평가 방법들을 소개하고자 한다. 평가 방법에는 전문가 1인에 의한 평가 방법, 전문가 팀에 의한 평가 방법, 학습자 1인에 의한 평가 방법, 학습자 소집단에 의한 평가 방법, 전문가와 학습자 공동 평가 방법, 전문가와 학습자 참여 설계, 개발, 평가 방법, 포커스 집단 활용 방법이 있다. 프로그램을 적용할 상황, 시간과 비용, 학습 대상에 따라 적절한 평가 방법을 적용하면 프로그램의 효과성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 이러닝은 학습자의 학습효과를 높이려는 많은 방법들이 연구 및 적응되고 있다. 대부분의 이러닝 학습은 학습자에게 학습과정을 제시하는 학습 내비게이션을 적용하고 있다. 그러나 일반적으로 교수자가 미리 설계한 학습 진행 및 과정을 제시하고 있으며, 학습자는 정해진 학습과정을 학습하고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 학습 진행 및 과정을 학습자의 학습결과에 따라 유동적으로 변화하여 제시하는 학습 내비게이션을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 학습과정을 결정하는 요인으로 학습단원, 콘텐츠 그리고 난이도로 나뉘었으며, 각 프로세스 로직은 CSP를 통해 분석하였다.

  • 알고리즘의 추상적 속성은 학습자의 동기와 학습 증진을 저해하는 요소로 작용할 수 있다. 따라서 학습자의 내적 인지 부담을 감소시키고 동기를 유발하기 위한 교수 학습 방법에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전문계 고등학생들의 동기와 성취수준 향상을 위해 놀이를 통한 알고리즘 교수 학습 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발한 프로그램을 적용한 결과, 놀이 중심 알고리즘 학습 프로그램을 수행한 집단이 전통적인 알고리즘 학습을 수행한 집단에 비해 학습동기와 학업성취 면에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이는 놀이와 같은 구체적인 활동 수행이 추상적이고 어려운 개념 학습에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 해석할 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of integrated science inquiry teaming method through literature materials on the learner's science concept formation, inquiry ability, and attitude related to science when it was applied to the unit 'The temperature of atmosphere and winds', 'The journey of water' in the 5th grade, and to find out the effect on science learning according to teaming styles. To study these subjects, 4 classes of 5th grade in J elementary school in Busan were selected. The result of this study were as follows: First, Integrated science inquiry learning method through literature materials was more effective for concept formation than conventional teaching method. In science inquiry ability, there was not significant difference at all between the comparison group and the experimental group. In attitude related to science, the experimental group showed significant difference only in the interest in occupation related to science. The visual modality learners within the experimental group showed significantly higher statistics than the other modality learners in the post-investigation into the science concept and there was significant difference between the visual and the kinesthetic modality learners in the result of post-test on science inquiry ability.

약강구조 영어 단어에 대한 초급 및 고급 영어학습자의 약음절 지각과 반응시간(I) (The Perception-Based study of a weak syllable in English Words with Weak-Strong pattern by Korean Learners(I))

  • The purpose of this study is to observe how Korean learners of English perceive a weak syllable in words with WS syllable pattern. According to the automated discrimination task using E-Prime, the proportion of right answer and reaction time of the stimuli with same word pairs (a-a, b-b) was more and faster respectively than that with different word pairs (a-b, b-a). Specifically, in a-b or b-a stimuli structure, familiarity(word frequency) of stressed word succeeding weak syllable and whether the weak syllable had coda in it was two important factors in distinguishing between a word with and without weak syllable. Even though the high English proficiency Koreans had faster reaction time than the low English proficiency Koreans, all Korean learners somewhat had difficulty perceiving the weak syllable at the beginning of the word.

한국어 학습자의 심리적, 사회적 요인과 구어 통사 복합도 간의 상관관계 (The correlation between learners' psychological and social factors and syntactic complexity of L2 Korean speaking)

  • This study investigated the correlation between learners' psychological and social factors and their syntactic complexity of speaking. The study collected samples of Korean spoken production of 61 learners with English, Chinese, Japanese and other L1 backgrounds and applied mini-TOPIK, mini-AMTB, and SASIQ for 70 minutes. The study found that: (i) integrative motivation showed positive correlation with a number of simple complex clauses, but instrumental motivation correlated negatively with a number of adverbial clauses, indicating that high motivation hindered producing highly complex clauses although it triggered producing simple complex clauses, (ii) social contact with L2 native speakers showed positive correlation with general L2 development and a number of simple complex clauses, but revealed negative correlation with double or triple complex clauses, (iii) hours of L2 listening showed very strong positive correlation with producing triple complex clauses and general proficiency, but indicated negative correlation with a number of simple complex clauses. The study reported that high motivation toward Korean learning and active social activities with Korean native speakers helped produce simple complex clauses while hours of listening to Korean helped produce triple complex clauses.

한국어 숙달도와 문법성 판단 능력의 상관관계 연구 (A Study on the Correlation between Korean Learners' Proficiency and Grammaticality Judgement Competence)

  • This study investigates relationships between TOPIK ratings and measures of grammaticality judgement competence in the acquisition of Korean as a second language. Data were collected on the linguistic abilities of learners' at 3 to 6 on the TOPIK scale, focusing on perception in grammar-mostly morphology and syntax, some lexis, and a few of collocation. The results show that (i) proficiency and grammaticality judgement competence show high correlation, (ii) individual accuracy scores correlate strongly with levels on the TOPIK proficiency scale on most linguistic features in the test, and (iii) Japanese speakers outperform Chinese speakers at the same levels of proficiency on most linguistic features. The findings indicate that global proficiency scales like the TOPIK can be deconstructed using grammaticality judgement test that provides detailed measures of learners' control of linguistic features.

  • This study aims to investigate the effective method to improve the competence of the Vocabulary by the image and listening towards the ELF. In the first part, we observed the problems and point improvement on learning vocabulary based on learner survey. In the second part, we analyzed two remarkable studies: - consistent and adapt method, communicational context - method based on the lexical, morphological semantical, notional and thematic field Then we proposed effective methods that are applicable to the vocabulary's learning in the class : - learning vocabulary by combining the words - learning vocabulary based on the meaning field - learning vocabulary as concrete characters - learning vocabulary by the descriptive character - learning vocabulary with the type "who am I?" - learning vocabulary by listening For teachers, one of the difficulties to the conduct of vocabulary course is that learners take passive position. Specifically, it is the teachers who play an important role because it runs in the direction of the course. However, learners do not show the active attitude for vocabulary lessons despite the course to take to improve their vocabulary skills. Therefore, teachers must prepare course materials that can both improve the competence of the vocabulary of learners and cause their interest or desire on the current vocabulary. This is why teachers should exploit various materials depending on the skill level of the learner vocabulary.
