Analysis of Fatigue Life of Spot-Welded Specimens (점용접 시편의 피로 수명 해석)

  • Failure of spot-weld joints in car body may cause noise, vibration and safety problems. Systematic procedures for estimating fatigue strength of general spot-weld joints are developed in this paper. Fatigue test results for various spot-welded specimens are analysed using the finite element method. It is found that the maximum principal strain at the nugget boundary on the inner surface governs the fatigue failure of spot-welded joints.

  • This part is to comment the part related to acupuncture among the contents of Ku Chim Sip Ⅰ Won(九鍼十二原) in Young Chu(靈樞) and Bo Myung Jeon Hyung Lon(寶命全形論) in So Moon(素問). This volume divide in three chapters. Chapter Ⅰ deals with rules of Bosa(補瀉) in acupuncture. Chapter Ⅱ deals with desirable attitude in acupuncture. Chapter Ⅲ deals with Ku Chim(九鍼) that correspond to the universe, four seasons and YinYang. So Chim Hea(小鍼解) in Young Chu(靈樞) also comments Ku Chim Sip Ⅰ Won(九鍼十二原) in the same way that this part does. And yet there are not a few differences from this part in noting. Thus we need the comparative study of between this part and So Chim Hea to understand Ku Chim Sip Ⅰ Won(九鍼十二原). Therefore I made a comparative study of views of many physicians to correctly understand.

  • The HyeolRacRon(血絡論) of the YoungChu(靈樞) is one of the section associate with the study of bloodletting(depletion of blood) by acupunture. The bloodletting therapy, one of the treatment of Oriental Medicine, has been advanced in civilization. By studying of this section, I could find some conculution as follows: 1. It is the superficial venules(血絡) that has been included blood stasis which has been interrupted by pathogenic factor(邪氣), and still could not enter into the meridian's line. 2. When bloodletting therapy, we should carefully study of patient's health condition, because doctor's missed acupuncure leads to very serious side effects. 3. External shape of HyeolRac(血絡) is like acu-niddle or muscle, so its thickness and location were not fixed position, its color is redish, and its quality is hard. 4. It is reason of heating that fixation of acu-niddle and muscle fiber.

A study on the analysis of Taegeuk Acupuncture focused on "Young Chu.GuChimSibYiWon" ("영추(靈樞).구침십이원편(九鍼十二原篇)"을 중심으로 한 태극침법(太極鍼法) 분석)

  • Objective : This study was conducted to underpin the theory of Taegeuk Acupuncture systematically and increase the utility of clinical trial and a range of application. Method : This study analysed ByungHaeng Lee's theory, who is the originator of Taegeuk Acupuncture, by focusing on "Young Chu GuChimSibYiWon" Result & Conclusion : 1. ByungHaeng Lee's thought about Viscera and Bowels is following medicine of Internal Classic. Even though JeMa Lee's thought about Viscera and Bowels has same name with ByungHaeng Lee's, but the functional meaning and related part is totally different. So, four constitution types in Taegeuk Acupuncture are different from four constitution types in Four-Constitution Medicine. Therefore, Taegeuk Acupuncture isn't related with Four-Constitution Medicine 2. On the authority of "Young Chu GuChimSibYiWon", we can extend 4 therapeutic acupuncture point combinations of Taegeuk Acupuncture to ten therapeutic acupuncture point combinations which tentatively named 'Five Viscera Source Point Acupuncture'. 3. To consider an example of eight constitutional acupuncture, Taegeuk Acupuncture thoroughly says constitutional acupuncture. Especially, JaeGyuKim's Taegeuk Acupuncture has specific diagnosis standard that after treating a patient with acupuncture, he checks an oppressive pain at the precordial region and a voiced sound at liver and then he makes sure constitution of patient. So we can consider JaeGyuKim's Taegeuk Acupuncture as constitutional acupuncture. However, it has to change the name of four constitution types to taegeuk greater yang person, taegeuk lesser yang person, taegeuk greater yin person, taegeuk lesser yin person so as to avoid confusion. 4. Taegeuk Acupuncture is markedly simple in comparison with other acupuncture, so it needs to extend the utility of clinics by enlarging treatment acupuncture points.
