A HISTOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF SEVERAL HEMOSTATIC PULPOTOMY PROCEDURES (지혈적 치수 절단술의 효과에 관한 조직학적 연구)

  • The efficacy of several pulpotomy methods were evaluated histologically on animal model using 6 beagles. At 1, 4, 6 weeks after pulpotomy, animals were sacrificed by perfusion method, Histomorphometric analysis was performed using computerized image analyzing system. Statistical comparisons were done using SPSS program. The following results were obtained: 1. Tissue responses after ferric sulfate treatment mainly consisted of fibrous surface layer with the underneath pulpal tissue layer containing well-preserved odontoblasts. 2. Bleeding, fibrosis and necrosis are the main reactions obsereved in electrosurgical pulpotomy and the normal pulpal tissues were limited to the apical portion. 3. In the aspect of preserving the normal pulpal tissue, ferric sulfate pulpotomy was evaluated to be superior to formocresol or electrosurgical pulpotomy.

Simulation of Vehicle Steering Control through Differential Braking

  • This paper examines the usefulness of a Brake Steer System(BSS), which uses differential brake forces for steering intervention in the context of Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS). In order to help the car to turn, a yaw moment control was achieved by altering the left/right and front/rear brake distribution. This resulting yaw moment on the vehicle affects lateral position thereby providing a limited steering function. The steering function achieved through BSS was used to control lateral position in an unintended road departure system. A 8-DOF nonlinear vehicle model including STI tire model was validated using the equations of motion of the vehicle. Then a controller was developed. This controller, which is a PID controller tuned by Ziegler-Nichols, is designed to explore BSS feasibility by modifying the brake distribution through the control of the yaw rate of the vehicle.

  • Machine operator and quality are affected by chip during cutting process to product machine parts. This paper presents a study of the influence of cutting conditions on the surface roughness obtained by turning using Taguchi method for safety of turning operator. In the machining of titanium alloy, high cutting temperature and strong chemical affinity between the tool and the work material are generated because of its low thermal conductivity and chemical reactivity. Therefore titanium alloys are known as difficult-to materials. An orthogonal array, the signal-to-noise ratio, the analysis of variance are employed to investigate the cutting characteristics of implant material bars using tungsten carbide cutting tools of throwaway type. Also Experimental results by orthogonal array are compared with optimal condition to evaluate advanced reliability. Required simulations and experiments are performed, and the results are investigated.

  • 데스크탑, 태블릿, 스마트폰등 다양한 인터넷 접근방법과 크롬, 사파리, 파이어폭스등 다양한 브라우저가 사용됨에 따라 이런 여러 가지 인터넷 환경에 대응하기 위해 W3C에서는 HTML5를 권고하고 있으며 이에 따른 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 전 세계적으로 HTML5로의 전환을 빠르게 확산시키려는 움직임을 보이고 있으나 선도 기업을 제외한 공공기관 및 민간 기업에서는 전문 인력 부족, 학습 비용 투자 등 여러 가지 문제로 인해 전환속도가 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 HTML5에 대한 국내외 표준화 및 시장현황에 대해 기술하고, 이를 기반으로 WYSIWYG HTML5 저작도구를 설계하였다.

  • 공통의 glass를 이용한 LTCC 이종소재의 무수축 접합 가능성을 확인하기 위하여 2종의 상용 glass를 이용하여 소결온도를 변화시키면서 미세구조 및 결정구조, x-y축 방향의 수축율을 관찰하였다. 실험 결과 GA-12 glass는 강유전체 $BaTiO_3$와 glass의 composite개념을 이용한 접합에 적절하지 않은 것으로 판단되었으며, GA-1 glass의 경우는 $750^{\circ}C$$800^{\circ}C$ 사이에서 glass의 충분한 침투조건이 확인되며, 결정구조 에서도 glass/$BaTiO_3$ composite이 형성되므로 layer 간의 delamination은 발견되지만 x-y축 방향의 무수축 접합의 가능성이 확인되었다.

  • Kakkalide from Puerariae Flos expresses pharmacological actions after biotransformation to irisolidone by intestinal bacteria. B. breve K-110 was isolated as a bacterium metabolizing kakkalide. Therefore. we purified kakkalide-metabolizing p-Xylosidase from B. breve K-110. ${\beta}$-Xylosidase from B. breve K-110 (isolated from Korean intestinal microflora) was induced by kakkalide. We used defined medium contating 1mM kakkalide for the cultivationof B. breve K-110. (omitted)

  • 본 논문에서는 센서네트워크 환경에서 에너지 효율적인 인-네트워크 조인 질의 처리기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 데이터의 요약된 정보 시놉시스를 사용한다. 각 영역의 전체 시놉시스의 크기를 고려 하여 예비 조인 조정자를 선정하는 방법과 최종 데이터를 싱크 노드로 전송하는 비용을 줄인다. 제안하는 기법의 우수성을 보이기 위해 기존 기법과의 성능 비교를 수행한다.
