현대패션에 나타난 노랑의 조형성과 이미지 (Yellow Image and Formative Properties in Modern Fashion)

  • The purpose of the study is to clarify yellow image and formative properties in modern fashion. For the study of formative properties 230 kinds of costume samples being visual power in yellow have been selected from photographs in fashion magazines and divided into tones: vivid(S, B, Dp), vague(L, Lgr, D), bright(Vp, P, B). For the study of image 30 kinds of costume samples is used. The Study was measured by using Semantic Differential method. The subjects were 50 students majoring in clothing and textile. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA, MDS and regression analysis. The results of analysis are as follow: 1. Factor analysis has extracted 4 factors of yellow image in the fashion. These factor are Attractiveness, Cheerfulness, Hardness and Softness, Gorgeousness. 2. There were significant difference in visual evaluation of yellow tones. 3. Evaluative dimensions of yellow was classified as Soft-Hard, Gorgeous-Unpretentious. 4. The mage effect on Preference, Buying needs, Pleasant and Riches was consist of complicated sensibility.

감즙과 양파껍질 추출액을 이용한 혼합염색의 특징 (The Characteristics of Mixed Dyeing Using Persimmons Juice and Onion Outer Skin Extract)

  • Natural dyes are environmentally and human compatible. But they are not various or not fast in color. The mixed dyeing have been attempted to solve these disadventages of natural dyes. The persimmon juice dyed fabrics have brown-color and good hygienic properities however low color fastness. The onion dyeing show similar brown-color and have good color fastness caused by querectin existed in onion outer skins. Mixed dyeing was carryied out on silk fabrics using persimmion juice and onion outer skin extract in this study. The mixing method were persimmon juice dyeing and then onion dyeing(P-O), onion dyeing and then persimmon juice dyeing(O-P) and dyeing in the mixture of persimmon juice and onion outer skin extract simultaneously(P+O). The mordants were none-mordent, gallic acid after-treatment and alum after-treatment. Several persimmon juice dyed fabrics were irradiated for 2 hours before onion dyeing(PU-O). The color values of dyed silk fabrics were as follows. The persimmon juice dyed silk fabric developed to yellow-red color after 2 hours of uv irradiation. Onion dyed fabrics show similar yellow-red color after dyeing without uv irradiation. The effect of alum after-treatment on color difference were highest in onion dyeing. The dyeabilities of both P-O and O-P were higher than persimmom juice dyeing and onion dyeing. The dyeabilities of P+O was lower than persimmom juice dyeing and onion dyeing. The value of color difference of alum-treated fabric was the highest. The color difference of P-O and O-P caused from 2 to 4 hours of uv-irradiation were lower than those of persimmon juice dyed fabrics. Onion skin extract could prevent the color-change of persimmon juice dyed fabrics in mixed dyeing. The color difference of PU-O was higher than the P-O.

Variation of Anthocyanins and Isoflavones between Yellow-Cotyledon and Green-Cotyledon Seeds of Black Soybean

  • Analysis of black soybeans [Glycine max (L.) Merr.; 59 Korean varieties] revealed that 100-seed weights of green cotyledon seeds (33.5 g, n=31) were higher than those of yellow ones (28.9 g, n=28). Contents of delphinidin-3-glucoside (D3G), cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G), petunidin-3-glucoside (P3G), and total anthocyanins in seed coats of black soybeans were 0.03-4.15, 0.74-18.36, 0.02-1.60, and 0.87-23.52 mg/g, respectively, among which most prominent anthocyanin was C3G (80.9% of total content), followed by D3G (13.6%) and P3G (5.5%). No significant differences were observed in color parameters $a^*$ and $b^*$ between black soybeans with yellow cotyledon (BYC) and green cotyledon (BGC). Total isoflavone content of BGC was higher than that of BYC, and negative correlation was found between total anthocyanin and isoflavone contents.

감즙에 의한 견직물의 염색성과 기능성 (Dyeability and Functionality of Silk Fabrics treated with Persimmon Juice)

  • This research from analyzing dyed silk fabrics treated with persimmon juice by padding concludes as follows : The add on is increased as the number of padding increase and the color of the dyed fabrics holds red-yellow colors which has low brightness and high chromatic colors. The fabrics dyed with persimmon juice have properties such as 2nd grade of light fastness, 4~5th grade of perspiration fastness and rubbing fastness, and 3~4th grade of washing fastness. The dyed fabrics exposed to UV light have deeper yellow-red color than things exposed to sunlight. The silk fabrics treated premordants have shown strong yellow colors, especially the fabrics added Fe mordant have shown greenish red-yellow colors. As the padding times of dyeing with persimmon juice are increased, strength and water-repellent property are enhanced along warp and weft direction respectively but anti-crease property is decreased. Also, the dyed fabrics have good antibacterial activity and deodorization.

스타이렌 모노머를 이용한 색소 담지 마이크로캡슐의 제조 (Study of Dye Encapsulated Microcapsule Polymerization Using Styrene Monomer)

  • In this study, dye-encapsulated microcapsules were produced by emulsion polymerization using styrene monomer. The study showed that the average size of microcapsules were $2{\sim}5{\mu}m$ in normal distribution. These microcapsules induced pale yellow(A12) and reddish yellow(B24) color by thermochromic fluoran yellow(dye A) and red(dye B). These microcapsules were changed to dark yellow(A12) and scarlet(B24) color depending on temperature change. The weight of microcapsules decreased by 7% to 11% during the heating ranges from $320^{\circ}C$ to $350^{\circ}C$ implying that the styrene microcapsules had thermal stability upto $300^{\circ}C$.

  • The New bicolor spray rose (Rose hybrida Hort.) cultivar was developed by line selection in 2000 at the Flower Breeding Research Institute, Gyeongnam ARES. Characteristics were investigated three times from 2003 to 2006. 'Yellow King' was crossed between 'Spring Time' and 'Flair' and it has a Yellow Orange-group color (RHS No. 16A), few thorns and spray flower with a good harmony between ray floret and flower center. The vase life of cut flower was 9.1days. It was registered as commercial cultivar in 2006. This new cultivar could be planted in most of greenhouse production region of Korea and will be released to general rose growers in 2007.

  • Black-white reflective cholesteric liquid crystal display was prepared with two color liquid crystal layers, the combination of yellow color liquid crystal and blue color liquid crystal. The rubbing of cholesteric liquid crystal panel affects the brightness and color spectrum due to increase the planar domain texture. The CIE chromaticity coordinate of white is (0.31, 0.31).

한국(韓國)의 미곡변질(米穀變質)의 유형(類型)과 그 원인(原因)이 되는 균군(菌群)에 대(對)하여(제2보)(第二報) (Types of Deterioration of Storage Rice in Korea and Identification of the Causitive Microorganisms (II))

  • 전국(全國)에 걸쳐 수집한 62개(個)의 변질미(變質米) 시료(試料)를 외관상(外觀上)의 변색(變色)으로 그 유형(類型)을 구별(區別)하고 그 원인(原因)이 되는 균군(菌群)을 분리(分離) 조사(調査)하여 다음과 같은 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 1. 62개(個)의 변질미(蠻質米)는 그 변색(變色)의 외관(外講)으로 황적색(黃赤色) 적황적색(赤黃赤色), 담적색(淡赤色), 적회색(赤灰色), 농회색(濃灰色) 및 바구미(米)의 7개유형(個類型)으로 분류(分類)하였다. 2. 62개(個)의 시료(試料)에서 곰장이류 5속(屬) 44종(種), 효모류(酵母類) 1속(屬) 1종(種), 세균류(細菌類) 4속(屬) 14종(種)을 분리(分離)하였다. 3. 분리(分離)된 총균군중(總菌群中) 72.4%는 곰팡이류(類)이었으며 27.6%가 세균류(細菌類)이었다. 곰팡이 유중(類中)에는 Asp. glaucus군(群)이 38%, Asp. candidus가 14%, Asp. oryzae가 12%, Asp. versicolor가 8%로 거의 대부분이며 기타의 Aspergillus, Penicillum, Rhizopus, Scopulariopsis 그리고 Trichoderma등(等)이 있었으며 세균류중(細菌類中)에 는87%가 Bacillus이었으며 Pseudomonas가 10%, 기타 Baveiacterium과 Staphylococus등(等) 분리(分離)되었다. 4. 변색(變色)과 균군(菌群)의 관계(關係)는 절대적(絶對的)은 아니지만 황적색(黃赤色)에서는 Pen. islandicum, 담황적색(淡養赤色)에서는 Asp. candidus, Asp. clavatus, 담적색(淡赤色)에서는 Asp. glaucus, Asp. candidus, Asp. versicolor, Asp. fumigatus등(等)이, 담회황색(淡灰黃色)에는 Asp. oryzae, 담회색(淡灰色)과 농회색(濃灰色)에서는 Asp. glaucus 및 Pencillium종류(種類)가 주(主)로 분리(分離)되었다. 5. 유독성(有毒性) 물질생성균(物質生成菌)은 Asp. glaucus, Pen. islandicum, Pen. citrinum, Asp. flavus, Asp. ochraceus등(等)이 있으나 그 출현빈도(出現頻度)는 중요(重要)한 것이 아니었다. 그러나 Pen. islandicum은 높은 생육밀도를 보여서 문제(問題)가 될 수 있겠다.

시변 필터링에 의한 물체색각 유발뇌파 해석 (Analysis of Object Color Sensory Evoked Potentials Using Time Varying Filtering)

  • This paper proposes the method that evoked potentials stimulated by object colors are analyzed and examined on the phenomemon of color sensory. The method which is used to estimate the signal is time-varying. filtering (TVF). At the results of experiment which used object colors, it is shown that color sensory times of red are within the range of 0.0~0.25[sec], those of yellow are within the range of 0.25~0.55[sec], and those of blue are within the range of 0.55~0.75[sec]; they are inclined to sequence in accending order as red, yellow, and blue.

給餌器具의 色彩變化에 따른 産卵用 育成鷄의 行動形態에 미치는 影響 (Effect of Colors of Feed-trough on the Behaviour of Pullets)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of colors of feed-trough on the eating behaviour of pullets. A total of 64 12wks old pullets were assigned to a $4{\times}4$ Latin square design with 4 treatments(control, blue, yellow, red colored feed-troughs). The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1. Average daily gain and eed intake of the pullets were significantly(P<0.05) decreased with red color feed-troughs. 2. Feed conversion ratio appeared to be improved in the yellow color group compared to the others. 3. Total time spent for eating were not significantly different, among treatments.
